Community news roundup for November 23rd

• Team Sp00ky will be restreaming the Beat by Contest qualifier which is a SSF4 competition featuring Eita, Uryo, Haneyama, Zangitan, Sako, Momochi and GamerBee. This starts on Nov. 24 at 5 a.m. PST / 8 a.m. EST. If you prefer your video feeds in Japanese, you can watch things on the Nagoya Street Battle uStream page. The official competition continues in February 2011. Thanks to WorstGiefEVER for clarifying this.

• DevilAzite posted another tool assisted Street Fighter 3 Third Strike fight, this one is an Ibuki Vs. Necro bout.

• Kenshin translated a post by the Japanese SSF4 dev team, who made special mention of extra details they're including in the new costumes. One example is that Cammy has her name printed on the tail of her new outfit, as shown to the right.

• Nagoya Street Battle will also be providing a live feed of an online SSF4 tournament on their uStream channel this Friday at 9 p.m. PST. Big ups again to Kenshin for his translation work here.

• Compy905 mentioned that there's a very nice offer on the new EVO monitors on Dell's website. They're selling for $100 off, coming in at $199.99. These are 2ms response, 21.5" monitors.

• IPlayWinner is posting videos from NorCal Regionals #8 on to their YouTube channel. The grand finals are already up and more videos are being added over time.

• SRK has video interviews up with Alex Valle and John Choi. IPlayWinner has an interview with Starnab, the French Fei Long player.

Team Spooky are streaming a Japanese QUALIFIER for BeatByContest. The Contest itself is in February 2011.

These are the people playing in tomorrow's qualifier:

Block B

-Momochi
-Sako
-Gamerbee

Gamerbee may be replaced if there are lag issues.

Already confirmed for the main event in Switzerland are Mago, Tokido, JWong, Ricky Ortiz, Marn and Ryan Hart, who won a ticket in London last Sunday.

The winners of the 2v2 (Slizzle and Ryan Hart) faced off against each other after winning the tournament to see who would win the invitation to BeatByContest. That video should be up on Saturday. Semis and final of the 2v2 will go up Wednesday-Friday.

Dude don't sweat it, they didn't know Eita was going to be sick, also the stream was scheduled for 8 EST the whole time, I only logged in early to test the restream setup and make sure there were no issues (Glad I did we found a problem that I ended up having to fix)

It will get better as it goes.
