I'm gonna be honest. I can't think of a reason. I just want the fight stick. I've never won a contest before.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I think I should win because I spend my free time volunteering at two public help centres (Citizen's Advice Bureau and Merseyside Employment Law) and so don't have time for a part time job. I have no money, so a free stick would be most appreciated!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I think I should win this contest because I am a huge street fighter Fan but ive never had the funds to purchase a fightstick so i would really like to have one of shadowloo sticks because i want my first stick to be specail and have high quality...
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I cannot seem to customize a stick for the life of me. I practically ruined my TE, but I was able to salvage for parts to get my SE fixed but its STILL having problems and Playing with a controller is seriously making my game suffer.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I think I should win becaus I got my 6 year old little brother a custom stick for his birthday and he was so happy he took it to school with him to show off, then some bully punched him so hard my brother dropped and cried and then the bully took his stick. he then came crying to me telling what happend and now the bully said: "If you can arrange another stick for me, so I can bash newbs online, I will give your brothers stick back". I then beat the crap out of him and I dropped the stick and it broke. :(

i think i deserve a stick because I've been playing Sf4 since the beginning but unfortunately I've never been able to get my hands on a stick because:
A: my parents won't buy me one...=/
B: i don't have a job to buy one for myself.
Even when wal-mart had the sale to buy a $30 Se stick, I didn't find out until they were all sold out.
I think that if i had a stick i would finally be able to level up and maybe learn higher execution characters like viper and guy. But if i don't win i guess i will just have to stick with ryu. So if you pick me there will be one less Ryu player! =D
I like this one, nice, black and clean.

Why I should win? To be honest, I might not be a hardcore player, but I'm a huge fan of fighting games. My first experience was with SF2 on SNES. Back in the day, we had no computers (I sound old when I say this) and I didn't actually own the game so I had no clue how to do any special moves. So I ended up playing over and over using only normals.
To be honest, it's not until SF4 came out that I really got into the scene. Sadly I had none of the consoles so the only way for me to play was at a friends house. Later on I got a PS3 and waited for Super to be release to get the game. Since then I've been hooked.
Now why do I need the stick? For a while I've been craving to get a customized stick. Sadly, it's quite expensive for me. I've got bills to pay and a girlfriend to attend to. The other solution was to build the box myself, except I wake up at 6am to go to work every day and get home between 6pm and 7pm. All I want to do at the end of the day is either sit down and relax with my girlfriend or play a Street Fighter for a few hours.
Oh and my girl some times plays Street Fighter, so having an extra stick would enable me to train her on how to actually play the game and maybe we'd have a new challenger in the community ;)
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I think i should win because i can't get one for Christmas because our basement got flooded from a severe storm and as a result my mother is unable to provide me, my brother or sister a gift for the season and has to focus on reconstructing the basement or the value of the house will decrease.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
This is pretty goddamn glorious. Elegant and well made, just like the man himself!
Well...I refuse to give Eventhubs my life story, this sure as hell isn't my Livejournal. Let's just say I'm going through some rough times these days, family issues, money issues, job issues with this god forsaken economy. Might be out of a place sometime soon.
The one thing, though, that keeps me sharp, focused, and hungry, is what I affectionately call "the fightan"...grinding links, practicing combos, these things pull me up from all the other bull I'm surrounded by. That desire to step my game up and win spills over into the other areas of my life, pushes me to overcome those issues. I'd want the stick as a stepping stone to bring my game to the next level.
Or, if you're cynical, you can say I'm having all these issues because I play too many damn video games. :P Your call. But I'd love a shot at the stick!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
You know, I'm going to be honest. I work a minimum wage job, trying to make a living. I'm currently trying to save up and help pay for a place with my girlfriend, so I can't really afford to buy my own custom stick or build one myself. I've not been having a very good week, as well. I've already had to bury one friend, and soon I will most likely have to bury another. Being 100% honest, I'd like for just one thing to go right, and winning one of these amazing sticks would definitely boost my spirits.

Why should I win?
I am not a doctor. I am not a firefighter. I am not the Cookie monster, A Power ranger, or Snooki from Jersey shore.
I am A gamer. I may not be able to call myself the best, hell, I may not be able to rank in tournaments. but i play whenever im not in a class. I play whenever i have time to. and I even force my friends to play when there doing anything that isn't productive for their future.
I've always played with the controller. from nes, to dreamcast, to playstation, to xbox, to Wii, to playstation 3. I've never played with a stick before. Now i have always WANTED one, of course... but i never knew of which one to get, how to get it, and a whole bunch of other factors. But then i looked at this competition as a chance for me to get something i've always wanted but was always skeptic about asking for.
I think i should get it because I wish to 'level' up my gameplay. so may of the pros play with a stick, and i often see myself getting myself 'man-handled' by those with the stick. And With Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 right around the corner, having a stick would be ideal christmas gift in anticipation.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I am huge fan of SSF4 and I am trying to get into the tournament scene. I feel that I could do alot better if I had one of these superb sticks. I have wanted a custom Guile stick for a long time now, and this is a great opportunity to obtain one. Thank you for giving me the chance to enter this awesome contest. Good luck to everyone.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Just like #2, I don't really have much to say. I've never won a contest in my life and my TE stick is falling apart.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Wow I had quite a hard time choosing a stick, they're all so fresh and stylish.. but over them all i totally love this one!
I think i should win this contest because it's been quite a while that I've been trying to get a stick and get serious about street fighter but they won't sell 'em in my country..
Believe me, I for one am not going to try and make people pity me saying my brother has cancer and the only cure is getting THIS stick, or that my dog ate my stick as pretty much everyone will, but still i really hope i win this contest (:.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
My reason is simple, I'm playing SFIV on PC on a keyboard, just bought SSFIV on Xbox 360 a few days ago and my keyboard won't work with it unfortunately.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I think I deserve a win because I live with a mother with transverse myelitis or whatever it is. This wouldn't be as bad but I'm pretty much STUCK at home due to her condition -_- which means no arcades for me (as if theres even any in Detroit). This also makes it hard to even get a job and I already have a wonky school schedule because of it ;x. Least with some type of a stick I can some type of experience in (Because I really don't want to walk into an arcade and get mauled at my fave game(s) because I can't function on a stick). http://www.freep.com/article/20101109... <--- No I'm not making this up
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I believe I should win because for years I've wanted my own aracde stick, but due to money issues I've never been able to afford one. Due to college and a busy life I haven't been able to hold down a consistent job. I don't even have my own car yet thanks to money problems! Friends pressure me to buy a stick all the time, but I always miss out on every sale and opportunity to get one, and again this is usually because of money issues. So getting a free custom-made stick would be not only a money-saver but also a nice boost in morale for me.
Putting my life story aside, I am a Gen player, and any Gen player out there will tell you I really need a stick in order to perform his more complex combos so that my Gen can even look competent, as Oga mix-ups and shenanigans can only get you so far! You won't see any Hands piano combos out of anything but a stick, so from a gameplay viewpoint, that sexy custom-stick would take me to the next level in terms of execution and skill.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I really don't feel I'm anymore deserving that anyone else here, but while I was spreading the gospel that is SF around my Campus(OU(Boomer Sooner) my TE was stolen :( and being a broke college student I can't afford another one at the moment. But as long as someone who is actually is gonna use it and spread the gospel against these Tekken Infidels >:( , I think we all win. :)
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I could really use a stick to up the quality of my combo videos, because there's only so much you can do with a pad. Therefore, I could really use a good quality stick. I'm currently unemployed, nor do I know something I'd want to study for, so I can't buy one myself.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I started to collect arcade sticks a year ago and this stick is one of the those that I can never find a bargin. So I am here to try my luck to see whether I can get one. I am also interested to check out the design since I am a industrial designer myself.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I would like to win a custom arcade stick because me hands doesnt work properly so i cant play on a regular arcade stick. I need to replace the buttons on the arcade stick surface to play nice and i cant do that. I hope you guys will let me win so i can play fighting games properly and can realy enjoy it. Bye, thomazzz
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I don't know that I deserve one of your magnificent sticks for free, but I do know that I need a new stick to defend orphans and cannot afford one. What's that, defend orphans? Yes. Orphans. I broke my MadCatz SE (the only fightstick I've ever own/ever been able to afford owning because I got it on sale for $35) over a terrorist's head to prevent him from shooting an orphan. That's not to say that my stick wasn't busted up before, in fact, it came partially busted because that's what MadCatz SE sticks do, and it's also not to say that's the first terrorist I hit with it, he's just the one that broke it. My stick was instrumental in deflecting the attack on the orphanage, smoothly taking down one terrorist after the other as they attempted to plant bombs and cap orphans. If my stick isn't replaced by the next attack, I have no idea what'll happen. Please, don't allow the terrorists kill my good friends, the orphans, this close to Christmas. It would be such a massive buzz-kill, you don't even know man. Oh, and in addition to that, my relationship with my girlfriend is on the rocks because we're both so nice and want the other to use a stick and won't use one while the other has none, so I'm all, "Here, hon, you can use this busted ass SE and I'll just use the awful 360 controller," and she's all, "No, Love, you use your special controller because you're more into fighting games than I am." I cry myself to sleep at night. The girl deserves a stick, that's for sure. While I'm playing vigilante with the orphans, she's busy working at the hospice. For free. With nuns. Together, they make sure that those old folks and those young folks and those baby kittens feel absolutely no pain on their way out. I love that girl. Please, Shadaloo, provide me with one of your clean and stylish sticks to save my relationship and probably also some orphans.
Also, does nobody find it odd that Shadaloo is giving things away for free? They should be like... killing us and making drugs and stuff. Bison's turned over a new leaf, yo.
This one looks beautiful!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Why should I win a fight stick? Well I can't really afford it, well..a real one I mean. My friend gave me his broken SE stick with the busted case. But with some elbow grease and some research and a old dresser drawer I fixed it. Im proud of drawer stick, it might not look pretty but it some what does the job. Don't have a bottom for it so the wires come loose some times. If I win this stick it would be great and I wouldn't be so afraid to tap the buttons a little hard with out it falling out. Thanks and good luck to everyone!
I took art class in middle and highschool and my teachers used to say art is something everyone can do all you need is time and dedication then repeat. Unfortunately people not to put in those three components and will end up with something that doesn't last. But this stick is true art in the form of technical entertainment. What makes this more then a stick is how it respects age groups, artistic design, the passion, and love put into it to make it a one of a kind masterpiece.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Oh for so long have I dreamed about having a stick. I use a PS3 controller for all my fights when I play casual and tournament play. I do not have the money to buy a stick due to the income of my family. I should win this stick because not only will I cherish it with utmost care and love, it will improve my gaming fighting skills tenfold and let me execute moves and techniques that I keep on reading on Shoryuken and Eventhubs. The reason why I chose this stick is because I feel as though it represents me. I am many but one force. Thank you for reading!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I would like to win this fightin stick because i can't afford one and because i have been a street fighter fan fo so long. and it would help me improve my game. Thanks and good luck for everyone :D
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
My name is Nathan, and I'm a huge Street Fighter fan. When I was a kid there was this pizza place that I loved to go to because they had a Street Fighter 2 machine, so I got to play it whenever my family went. Years later at the movie theater my brother and I saw an arcade machine simply called "III." We looked at the screen and HOLY CRAP, it was Street Fighter 3: New Generation and we had never seen anything like it. We thought it had the best drawn sprites ever and the coolest music. Later still, in college, there was a game room with Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike. I skipped many a class and spent too much money to say playing there. And it was in college that I realized something. I couldn't believe how freaking good those guys were at SF. They were talking about strategy and SRK.com and an overall level of depth I didn't realize existed in a video game. Well, since then I have absorbed everything I can from both that website and this one! I followed SFIV's development on this website and bought it day one. There's even a video on Youtube of DSP whooping me. If I really want to get better at SF, I'm going to need a stick. All these custom sticks look fantastic, and I would absolutely love to get my hands on one. Well, thanks for reading. Take it easy.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I have always been dreaming about having that arcade stick setup at home when I used to spend hours in arcades in my childhood. I REALLY want this...
http://www.eventhubs.com/images/2010/...
I would like to win this fight stick because Dudley is my all time favorite character, I have also contributed with so much general 3s information on the site I would just love to have a stick looking this nice with 3s art.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Well, a couple months ago i lost my job.
I played street fighter with some friends, studied high level gameplay and techniques to help pass some time during the days.
After a couple months i had to move due to not being able to keep paying rent.
When i moved, i lost my ability to play with friends in person all of the time. I also lost the chance to use my friends TE fight stick.
I would love a custom fight stick so that i can get online, play with my friends and actually level up in my play.
SF is pretty much the only hobby i can still do while im still looking for a new job, and i would like to be able to play it properly with a nice stick.
I cannot afford a TE stick or anything right now, and i would absolutely love a custom made stick by the extremely talented folks at shadaloo.
Good luck to all and thank you shadaloo for giving all of this such an opportunity to own such a piece of art!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I think i should win because i have been a huge street fighter fan ever since i was little, but i have never owned my own arcade stick. I have been wanting to go pro for a while but i could never afford a stick and i think it would be awesome if my first arcade stick was one of these. thanks :)
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I should win this fight stick because I am a huge fan of fighting games in general. I've been playing them for years and I still don't have a fight stick. It would help me get better overall at ST and SF in general. My life depends on it!!!!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I think I should win because custom joysticks are the best thing to happen since do dirty. And yes, I'm talking about sex.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Do I think I should win, well, I guess it depends on the situtation. Not that I am a bad person or anything, but it is nice to enter in a contest once in a while. Even though I prefer fighting with a controller, it would be cool to see how my strategy changes with the fight stick. I believe my Dan might get a bit more technical if I do, and no matter who wins, it was a nice try anyway!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I would really like to win this stick contest because of how awesome this DJ stick looks. I have been searching for a long time now trying to find a nice Dee Jay template for a stick but have unfortunately been able to find one. I tried making my own custom look, but it doesn't look nearly as nice as this one. As a Dee Jay player myself, I would love to have this stick =D
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
...Because I wet my pant when I saw this Stick.
True reason is... I will be Attending EVO 2011 for the 1st time ever and what a great way to show my scrub skills against the best fighters with non other than a Shadaloo custom stick. I train hard, I play hard; A Shadaloo custom would just make me that much more.... 'nuff said
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I think I should won one of those stick , so I can go to EVO with that awesome stick and show how my Juri can kick the ass of Daigo "the beast" Umehara. :D
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Yeah, this stick is pretty badass, the colors, the choice of color is good. The black shadowing on this is amazing, making Gen more of a mysterious dark character. I don't personally use Gen, but I like his character and the way it's portrayed in this art. Having this stick would be awesome, simply because my stick of 4 years is dying and I believe that is messing up my inputs. Well, My "Fierce" button loves to mess up a lot, so that would call for a new stick. Just like my fellow SF players and Fan, I don't have money to obtain a good quality stick, but I love these types of events because they give me a chance. I would love to get this stick, so I can go to training mode again without worrying about the stick not working. Overall, I am happy these events are happening and I swear the community is growing because of it, so thanks for having it, and I hope I win. :)
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I need this stick so bad, for I live in the country of Canada and have found that it is surprisingly hard to get a fight stick. I used to be a pad player but have recently have had a taste of the stick no homo and much like the jamba juice near my house I must have my own.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Street Fighter IV was my first street fighter, I remember starting and all I did all match was jump around the screen, I started out with Chun Li, I eventually got better and learned what to do in different situations, when Super Street Fighter IV came out, and they announced new characters, I instantly fell in love with Juri Haan, I love the way she plays, and how you have to really think to be good with her, I am still using a ps3 controller because i've never saved up to get a stick and just can't afford it right now, so I think I should win so that I can continue to work on my Juri with a fight stick and up my game, I would really love to do that with a fight stick!! I have lots to learn, but I know I can do it
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I would like to enter to win this Juri custom stick as a gift for a friend of mine who will be coming home from service in Afganistan just after Christmas. He's been playing on a controller ever since SF4 came out and has always expressed interest in getting a fightstick, but he simply has had far too many financial obligations to attend to. The fact that he's a Juri main would be icing on the cake for him, and would give me a chance to welcome him back home with something he won't forget. (Hopefully lol)
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I hope to win because I teach 7th grade Language Arts, and I'm trying to fund my after school gaming club, which is hard with all the huge budget cuts to schools across the nation. I brought in my consoles with some games and have been taking challengers in SSF4 (the kids love trying to beat their teacher) and now they are all itching to learn and play more. In fact, I've been converting them from Modern Warfare to Street Fighter! A stick would really bring a lot to our humble after school gaming club, and would make a lot of kids really HYPE! =) I'm trying to raise the next generation of Street Fighters right!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Nice and simple colours, stylish.
I'm not going to pity into getting one, simply put, I can't afford one, and will never be able to afford one. I use a pad, went to my first tournament today, didn't do so bad...(Top 10) but, I saw everyone there with their fancy arcade sticks, and they were all saying we were going to be free, and that we weren't good, but we took them all down, and next time I come back, I want to come back with an arcade stick, be 10x better, and show them :)
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
A Calvin and Hobbes stick is possibly the greatest idea I have ever seen.
This makes my dick bleed with joy.
Yes, that is my reasoning for why I should win: A bleeding dick of joy.

Need it for the most important day of my life...... Tuesday.

^That is one sexy arcadestick^
I´ve been a SF fan my whole life, since the SFII days... and now with SSFIV I feel I've hit my top skill level (not very high) and I feel I cant get better than this.. at least with the regular 360 controller.. I feel I can break the limit and reach my full potential at this and someday go to EVO and kick some ass xD..
Help me get better with a nice arcadestick
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Everyday, I search the internet on how to custom build an arcade stick, looking for the best deals, trying to win one on ebay; though it has always ended in failure. To me, an arcade stick is not merely a tool in a arsenal of a competitive player. It's an art form, everywhere from the decal, the style of the buttons, ball-top or bat-top, the choice of LED lighting when you press down a button, the complexity or simplicity of the overall look. I have seen many great custom sticks that are priceless! I'm a college student with no employment, currently studying graphic design; alumni of the People to People Student Ambassador Program. My free time consists of looking for employment, hanging out with friends, playing games, and making custom arcade layouts for fun. I may not have the best reason to win an arcade stick, but I am willing to give anything to try so I may one day feel the joy of it! I wish everyone the best of luck in this contest.
I am Jose, and I love fighting games!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Why should I win? Because I'm a SCRUB AND I WANT TO STOP BEING A SCRUB! (sob) :(
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
ima keep it short simple and sweet
i want a custom magneto fightstick to go with my mvc3 so i can kick a$$ in style & because ive never seen fightsticks like that, shadaloo is next level ima fan for life

My fighting game career has been uncannily similar to a wave born of the ocean. As a child, my wave was without strength or presence, just flowing along the paths of the ocean. In other words all I had was a horrible SNES controller to play Street Fighter II, which on a side note gave me some memorable blisters.
But as the years went by, my wave began to grow. My interest in fighting games rekindled in the Alpha series and Third Strike on PS2, but this time I would not get so many blisters thanks to the Dualshock controllers. My wave was starting to take shape. Then comes the present day, where I unfortunately downgraded from the Dualshock to play the incarnations of SF4 with a crummy Xbox360 Controller. Being a poor student in the ways of journalism, to which I find Eventhubs in particular to be a source of inspiration, I am unable to afford an arcade stick, even though I know they are fully worth the investment. Thanks to this, my execution is trash, and the growth of my wave has been stunted.
However, my wave has grown in other ways. For example, my discovery of Eventhubs, the knowledge I have gathered from the excellent fighting game community, and watching top players play in streams and analyzing their style and technique have raised the potential of my wave to become an absolute tsunami. All I need is the ability to execute on par with my newfound knowledge. This beautifully crafted stick, marked by the wave of the ocean that is so synonymous with my experience with fighting games, can grant me the power to reach for the sky and attain my true potential!
I would like a stick too, but I don't really have a good reason so I doubt I'd win, but to TKC:
I doubt getting a stick will make you any less of a scrub. Unless you consider Zangief or Luffy scrubs. :P
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I like it because it displays the whole cast of Street Fighter in one design. I love the game; not just one character.
And so, I wish to win this contest because of my love for Street Fighter. My passion for this is something I haven't experienced with a video game before. I have a burning motivation to get better and better until I can compete with the best. As a recent beginner of tournament play I feel like I could take that next step to becoming a better player with a new arcade stick. Something that symbolises my love for the game when I play. I'm trying to sound as sincere as I feel when I write this so I hope you take me into consideration.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
My reasoning for choosing this arcade stick is because I really love Juri Han. She has been one of my main characters ever since she stepped onto the scene. (Super Street Fighter Four).
I have been a D-Pad player for about a good three years. I'm a really good D-Pad player no doubt. But I realize that it's time that I evolve my gameplay skills. So with that thought, I can think of no other way, than to start training with an arcade stick. =) This, and I have always wanted to get myself an arcade stick for the longest. I even have friends saying that if I did get my hands on an arcade stick, then I would be an even MORE dangerous opponent than I already am. =)
I would really love to win this contest, as this would indeed be a great christmas gift to recieve from EventHubs and Shadowloo. =)
Good Luck to everyone at winning this contest. =)

i'v been playing fighting games all my life. these game is the main reason I am going into grapic design. so i can create games like this. I know i wont ever be able to out do street fighter. i will try to at least come in second. I know there wont be any other game to ever out do street fighter.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I like this stick is the best because it's creative and not fighting game related list most other sticks are.
I think I should win the stick because I've been playing Street Fighter since SFII:WW and have been playing many other fighting games since then. It would be awesome to have a stick that stands out from the rest. A stick that works on both PS3 and Xbox 360 would be great too since there are many tournaments that use either one or the other and would be convenient to only bring one stick to them all.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Classy.
I already have a TE stick. And that's why I should win this one ! I don't use stick because it makes me better but because of the feeling when I play. There isn't a lot of arcades in my country so I was more used to play with a pad but when I tried the stick, I enjoyed it so much I couldn't go back. Playing with one of these should be even more awesome and I know I'd really love it.
If I win I will give my old stick to a person interesting in fighting game to make the community grow or a good player using a pad because of the price. So he can feel the enjoyement of a real fighting stick !

I think I should win because I want to prove to my brother I can get something by earning it. I want to have some pride and try to get it myself. Right now, fight sticks are around 100-150 bucks. So, I really cant afford one. For now I'm using the xbox controller right now and I don't feel any passion when i'm playing Street Fighter with it. I want to feel the experience playing an arcade machine at home.

Why should I win, Im not much of a player for sf4 or other fighting games but thats because I dont own a stick. I cant really learn to play with ought a stick. being a student this doest really help in affording a good quality stick (love the te). Me winning is providing someone to get into fighting games.
I have been a lurker on this forum alot checking posts watching video.. this gives me a chance to play the game properly.

So...obviously I'm a Crackhead. I spend all my cash on PCP 'n stuff but i love playing fighting games too...but only on PCP and/or crack...so it's either street fighter or PCP and that's BS...so please hook me up with a Stick so i can have both. And we all know Dee jay is a smoker so it's the right stick for me for sure.
BTW: Ever played MvC2 on PCP?! say whuuut :D
and just to avoid confusion...im just kidding about the crack thing.
Winning the stick would make me really happy because i already lost like 30% of my thumb because mashing SRK on pad is pretty painful :D
PLUS! I live in germany so sending me the stick won't cost you much :D
peace

I really like the design on this fight stick. I really like seth (even though I main hakan) and his ability to rush down like nobodies business. The black and white (w/ a little red) is a great color scheme and its my favorite design out of all that I have seen.
As for why I deserve the fight stick ... hmmmmm... Ummm. I won't lie. I don't volunteer for homeless, I am not a pro player, I have never won a tournament, I didn't start playing street fighter till third strike, I only play a bit more than the average gamer, and I am just your average 19 year old street fighter playing kid. I currently have a sf4 madcatz fighting stick that I have had for a year or so and I use it frequently and keep it clean. But I digress. If I do win this I will surely join in more tournaments (probably won't win that many though) and do what I can to be a contender in the street fighter world. I wish I could write more but "Its time to oil up"

Because that stick, will make me better...and you owe it to me!

I used to get into fights all the time. It all started out in elementary school when I thought I was funny and got someone mad. He punched me in the eye and I started crying, and the next day I had a black eye. After assuming I learned my lesson, I still got into fights in middle school and high school. Realizing that these actions were life threatening, I turned to fighting games like Super Street Fighter IV.
My thought behind this was--I could win fights without getting killed in person. Dudley was my favorite even thought I never played him in 3S. So that's why I chose this stick. If I had this exact stick, I would keep it classy everywhere I go.
Thanks!

I want a stick because I can't stop myself from mas-turbulating. To put an end to the turbulence in my mast, I want something else to grip onto to forego my impulses. Give me your stick and I will grasp it, throttle it, and just maybe, a jet-uppercut will come out. Self-improvement and street fighter are my highest values and with your help I can fulfill my dreams.
(NOTE: even though the above msg is stupid I really do want the stick, even though I've probably sabotaged all chances of getting it...)

Man, some of these guys have crazy stories. Well, I'd really like to be awarded a custom fight stick. I wish I knew more about what you guys were looking for in a story so I could fluff mine up in that area, but I suppose I'll just tell you the truth.
I bought my first and only TE Stick about 1 month before NW Majors '09 which was my very first tournament. I didn't do very well in the tournament but I did learn how important it was to get more involved. Shortly after the tournament, while my stick was still in my trunk, my girlfriend tossed her bowling ball bag into my trunk crushing the face of my stick. Two wires fried and the stick bent terribly however it was still playable. For over a year now I've been playing on a half dead TE stick that won't stop falling apart. It is actually being held together with electrical tape.
Since that tournament I have become much more involved in my local SF scene. I have helped organize and run tournaments as large as 50 people, I've helped commentate on streams, and I've personally introduced about 12 new people into the scene who have become really respected players. I'm working very hard to earn respect as a fighting gamer. I've stepped my game up ten fold over the past year, but I cannot get around the fact that my TE stick will always be what people see when I play. The NW community has ever started calling it the "Ghetto TE" and they mention it every time I play on a stream set up. I would have bought a new one a long time ago but I was laid off from my job a while back and have had no luck finding a new one despite my highest efforts. Any extra money I have is dedicated to traveling around the Northwest attending tournaments.
I would like a new TE because I've put a lot of work into making my local community stronger as players. I'm not just some casual, online, pad player looking for my first stick for free. I have paid my dues, and given so much to the my local scene, and by a bad stroke of luck I have a broken, barely working, "Ghetto TE" and it has become a joke to many in the community I'm working so hard to earn respect from. I plan on attending more national level tournaments soon and I don't want to do it borrowing sticks or using my "Ghetto TE". If I was awarded a new stick, I could retire my current stick that has been so good to me and finally be recognized for my achievements and gameplay rather than "the guy with the ghetto TE".
Please choose me as a candidate. I have no other options for a new fight stick and it is something that I would cherish. Thank You.

This one definatley won me over. I love Gen's character design and his theme song just runs in my head anytime I see anything that deals with him. Looks great and looks solid.
I have played street fighter since I was 5 years old, and sadly I was never able to find other people to play..
I had my first tournament experience a while back to test out how good I was, of course I made the mistake of testing the character I picked up when Super came out but I still did much better than I thought I would, but the problem was that I don't have money to buy a good stick for the PS3 and I can't really afford to mod anything since im terrible with electronics. When I went to the tournament I was borrowing sticks left and right and i'll be honest with you it was a terrible experience, every stick was so different and completely threw off how I was supposed to hold it and it really effected my gameplay. I plan to be pro by the time the next EVO rolls around, and Im going to solidify my name here in the U.S.A. I really want this stick so I can have a solid and perfect piece of machinery that I can rely on when I go to tournaments and so I can represent when the time comes. Seems a litle selfish of me I know but I give back to the community whenever I can, I also plan to get a degree dealing with Electronics since im currently attending college, and im also planning on opening my very own arcade. Definatley going to have some SSFIV there, even if I have to import it.

I think I should win because I'm actually an evil world dictator and my plans for world domination are at a critical stage, one of my agents lost her memory on her way to a rendezvous to obtain the final piece of my doomsday device (silly blond!), with not much time left I must resort to entering this competition in a last ditch attempt to get my hands on the missing piece so I can achieve my dream of ruling the world
Yours sincerely,

Im lonely :( needs something to play with apart from myself....

I think that I should win the custom stick because I'm trying to start a fighting games scene at the College of William and Mary. When trying to recruit new members for the club, it's difficult to get people interested in trying the stick when the only ones around belong to me and the classmate who got me started with the game. As such, without giving up our own sticks, its difficult to spread interest in sticks since many new players would either prefer to practice with one after seeing us, or would like to try it out on their own.
I would like the custom stick in order help popularize stick usage in fighting games for those who are serious about competing, as well as to allow players I introduce to the game have a controller that will allow them to realize the most potential of the games we have.
Thank ya for your time,
ForteV

i really want to win this joystick because i love the design. the main point i really want to win is because i never had a joystick. i never really got the money to get one. ive been playing street fighter for about 4 to 5 years by using a ps2 or a xbox controller. i dont find it hard using the controllers but the reason why i want a joystick because theirs certain characters i like to use that are kinda hard to use on a controller like e honda, gen, and chun li, and c viper. i will really love if i win this because in the future i want to be in evo hoping to get around one of the top 10 in street fighter, and other games like mvc, and blazblue. thanks for taking the time to read this. and if i win i dont know what i would do. thanks again. and thanks to capcom for the best games ever

I can't say that I think I SHOULD win but I sure do WANT to! I've entered some of these online stick giveaway contests but never won. Here I am again. The reason I want to win is because I've been using a used and beat up Madcatz SE stick and it can be unreliable with execution. It makes me and Bison sad :(
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I believe that i should win this stick. I've always wanted a good quality arcade stick. I use a tekken wireless arcade stick. Obviously, it's no where near as good as these arcade sticks that are for grab here. Sometimes i travel an hour and then i'm told that wireless controllers are band. I want an arcade stick that can help me in execution and that looks amazing. Well, hopefully you'll consider me. Thank you for your time :)

Ok, so here's my (sob)story. I'm a long time SF fan from Uruguay, small country away from basically everywhere that's anywhere, and we keep a small fighting game community going, organizing small tourneys and trying to step up our game with what little competition we can get. We are all pretty bad to be honest, but it's a friendly environment and we have a good time.
Getting the right hardware isn't easy though, outrageous import taxes and shipping costs combined with low income basically kill any chance of getting sticks for reasonable prices (hell, even consoles, an X360 Arcade goes for around $500 USD, so a lot of people stick to vanilla on PCs, since a gaming PC is a lot easier to get). Most people use pad and even keyboard, sticks are a rare sight out of the arcades.
So, do we really need a stick? No, nobody does, but it would be pretty nice to win one of these, because it's hard to get them around here and it'd be cool to play the game the way it's meant to be played.
I don't have a link.
I don't have a link above is because I couldn't find the perfect fighting stick I long for in a tournament or casual play match.
I'm still looking for a Custom Sakura young or adult fight stick that I can show off with my friends, and to show who my main character is.
The reason why I should win a custom Sakura stick is because I want to be the first person with just a pure Sakura arcade stick. :]
I also want to be the best Sakura player in the U.S. so it would really motivate me to practice more if I had a custom arcade stick instead of my ps3 controller D:.
If I won I can also tell everyone where I got it from and advertise for eventhubs and shadaloo.eu about how epic these sites are.
I should also win this is because I've been saving up for a custom fight stick for a year but since I'm in college I'm on a tight budget so I can never really get my own custom Sakura fight stick and I would very excited if I could finally get one.
Having my own custom Sakura arcade stick would also define who I am and what it is about my character. Sakura is very energetic and that is me as well. Sakura works hard and so am I, and the both of us want to win! =D
I absolutely would like to win my own custom pure Sakura arcade stick so I can keep with me whenever I play any fighting game. :]

This is such a beautiful work of art. Simple white color and so shiny...
I think I should win this because I have quite a few Fighter's Edge points to give...yes you can use them...for something. =) I will hug quite a few trees that died for the stick that you guys give away. I would be sure to use it for all my gaming needs. Shumps, fighters, etc. I have an old 2007 mayflash stick but my usb part doesnt work anymore. I would mod it but I don't have the cash to make it better. So, now I just play Monster Hunter Tri, which isnt bad at all but I miss my fighting games.
Honestly I just enjoy how well designed and aesthetically pleasing it is. I am an artist...so I think it would be nice to own some awesome art such as this. It would probably get a case after I am old and no longer playing, or technology moves on.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo... Hello to Eventhubs and Shadaloo and thank you for holding such an amazing contest. I would like to just say thank you for always contributing to the community and always looking for new and unique stories to share with your fellow peers and gamers. This is such an amazing website that even months ago when I wasn't aware of such a place, thirsted for more involvement from the community to expand our knowledge as a whole. At a time when American Arcade culture is not as strong as it's used to be, people sometimes often forget that we are all moving to an online generation that will, if it already hasn't, surpassed that of the old arcade days and made games and experiences available to all ages and all walks of life. I cannot describe how much winning would mean to me, but I can describe how beautiful it is to see that without people like you Catalyst, and the foundation you give to others each and everyday, such as Shadaloo to hold a contest in coordination with your website, and the sacrifices that even I myself don't fully realize, that it would be so much more difficult to have an experience with others than it is now thanks to your contributions.
Shadaloo, ever since I was a toddler I knew the symbol of your website quite well. I started playing Street Fighter 2 Hyper Fighting, with my Brother when I was just 4 years old. My fondest memories that we shared together was around our Super Nintendo and playing together and sharing the experience of enjoying one of our childhood hobbies together. I remember very clearly that every time we would play, I would pick Ryu, because I thought how amazing it was to play as someone to throw blue fire out of his hands. My Brother would always pick M. Bison, unless I had picked him first, although I was not good at the game, I loved how it felt to play with someone who I not only loved, but someone I looked up to. He would always beat me of course since he was older. But the memories of my childhood will always be remembered as Shadaloo not only beating me to a pulp, but bringing it all together and bringing me some of the best memories of my life and being able to share it with those I love.
This stick design art is much more than that in the picture. It shows Ryu standing in front of the crowd, all people from all walks of life, looking and fighting for one purpose, not just to fulfill their own rolls, or great storylines, but to fight and bring us the joy of sharing experiences with one another from ALL walks of life. Ryu is perhaps the main character in all of the stories, but without one another, there would be no story and no path for him to walk. So thank you to the artist, this stick design just has so much depth to it that it is really wonderful once it brings back memories such as these. Good luck to everyone, that we may all share along in making memories not only for ourselves, but for others.

I could say that I'm a broke college student, or that this stick would improve my skills and help me to become a part of my ssf4 community, but at the end of the day, I'm just a nice guy who studies full time, and is absolutely in love with ssf4:).... oh and my moms pregnant lol

First thing firts - I'm from Poland.
I started playing fighting games seriously when I discovered Melty Blood, altough I knew
of all the Street Fighters before. I actually was the best player of Melty 1-2 years ago, but that doesnt really mean anything, the whole community consisted of max 5-6 players that were good. After some time I retired from the game and started playing Street Fighter 3 : Third Strike, which is still my favorite fighting game. The community for this one also isnt that big but at least its bigger than Melty Blood, and after SF4 came out the whole world suddenly remembered about the Street Fighter franchise.
It kinda hurts me how people dont know about such great fighting games here and dont really treat them seriously. Most people here play Tekken, and altough most of them are masshers that just screw around without really knowing what theyre doing, there are some really good players (I even heard some of them won european tournaments and that theyre known all around europe, but I dont really know because I'm not really into Tekken).I think I deserve the fighting stick because I need it to let this country know that there are other fighting games than Tekken/Soul Calibur. I also want to teach them all the foundaments of fighting games, mostly of Third Strike, because thats the game I'm the best at and I doubt I could acomplish it by being a keyboard player ; ) .I'm not really that good of a player but I know much of theory, but what I lack is experience, which is hard to get when playing via internet and even harder when there are so few players here. Dudley is my the character I like the most (and play the most) at 3s, he is stylish and every elbow hit he does just confirms how much of a gentleman he is, and thats why I choosed particulary that stick.Oh, and make you guys feel some compassion - I play on a keyboard and fail horribly at a controller, thats why I cant really get into games that I want to get into so much and enjoy like SSF4 and CvS2.

Cause my wife broke my te stick ninjaing it up on ranked with juri... lol irony
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I think I should win because I'm from Colombia and there's no way I can get my hands in a stick since they don't sell that stuff here, besides these sticks are great masterpieces and i'd be proud to own one of them.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Wow, all of these sticks are gorgeous--but I picked this Afro Samurai stick instead of a Street Fighter-themed stick because Nujabes, the man who made the music for Afro Samurai, passed away earlier this year. Nujabes has made a lot of my favorite hip-hop music ever, so having an Afro Samuari stick would be a pretty rad tribute. Plus, Afro Samurai is pretty great, and is the perfect subject for a badass stick.
I'd love to win this prize and have the stick replace the real old Hori stick I bought off of Craigslist for 20 bucks several years ago. The stick I use has two broken buttons and a real shaky connection sometimes, but I do get by with it. More significantly, winning this contest, and getting another stick, would be really great because it would be a lot easier to teach and play with some of my buddies who are not in to fighting games yet. Right now I only play online (I don't have many people to play with), but with another stick I could teach my friends, my girlfriend, and my little brother how to play, and get some more people involved in the game and hopefully the community! From what I've seen, having a stick as a peripheral really helps people get into the game and enjoy it, so even a girly-girl who doesn't usually play games, like my girlfriend, can get really excited and into it.
I'm a college student and am real strapped for cash because of tuition costs and all that, so winning one of these phenomenal sticks would be fantastic! Thanks a lot.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I like this design because it covers all the characters. Its got a little bit of everyone in it. And that's how I like to play, sure I'm better at specific characters but I like to diversify and try to be decent as everyone.
For the reasons I should receive the stick instead of any of these other qualifying co-street fighter and fighting genre enthusiasts, I state the following. I am currently a student at my local community college, I come from a middle class family that's struggling with money all the time. I work a minimum wage job to help cover expenses and for gas/food/clothes you know, essentials. I have two younger brothers, one just turned 12, the other is autistic and turns 11 at the end of the year. They also enjoy gaming as I do and they play with me when we are all home and they also watch me play matches on street fighter and other fighting games I play ( favorite genre of games ). They love it when I win and Ive just recently started trying out using a stick instead of standard controllers to play by borrowing my friends and it helps a lot with charge characters and to better execute combos. So it would help out a lot if I could receive this excellent looking fightstick by shadaloo.
Thanks for taking an interest,
Naterade

I believe I should win this contest because for as long as I've been playing street fighter seriously, I've been using pad all this time. I don't really have the money to purchase a stick. Any decent stick will cost over $150. Sure, Madcatz is always running promotions for cheaper sticks but since I live outside the US, I don't have access to those deals.
I'm at the point where I'm comfortable enough with my skills in Street Fighter that I have the balls to step into the local competitive scene. The one thing I know is holding me back is the lack of a stick. Being able to plink and option select is an important aspect of the game. As a pad player, I am highly limited to what I can do in terms of plinking and doing OS.
If I win this stick, I can only see myself improve.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I think i should win this stick because I want to improve my game and a stick can really help me out. The executions and motions of most combos would be made easier. I'm not the most advanced player, but with help of this stick i feel like i could become a great player. Also I don't own a stick already because I don't have enough money to buy one.
Sincerely,
Daniel

Hot damn, that stick.
I think I should win the stick because I recently discovered that there was a round robin going on in my local area (St. Louis), and I could actually make it out there without wasting a ton of gas. Right now though, I don't have a good way to compete with the rest of the players because I don't have a stick to use. I have to borrow sticks for both PS3 and 360 whenever I go and play. So winning this stick would be great because then I could have my own stick to use at the round robins, and be able to practice better at home.
Good luck to eventual winners!

I have to go through the opposition life is not fair.
Constant work is the need to put out the sequel.
Lack of a stick tears the body down, making it lethal.
When I fall down I stay strong and handle my business.
I want to be the head person sitting in a leather chair, making a toast to the woman I love the most.
This can be possible, all I have to do is have a tight stick.
Stay calm don't lose it, visions of a gold medal around my neck. Tough road too painful for me to open up and tell my story.
I'm not the only one, sometimes I cry. Sometimes I get depressed and think why I'm dying.
Gotta get your strength from somewhere. My strength comes from deep within my weaknesses. People are going to doubt me, I'll prove them wrong. I work hard because it pays me.
I'm working on my footsie's it is getting better. I don't need a shoryuken to put a person down.
I handle my business.
Mom and dad supported me. They want me to have a better life than theirs. They want me to support my family.
Let the past go.
I learned from my mistakes move on play hard get my life together.
I'm making a name for myself. Competition will always exist.
I handle my business.
It would be better if I had a stick of my own, so my tornado throws are known.
Each day unpredictable. Plan ahead. Finish your job faster and you have more time to play.
Life is more enjoyable with a stick in your hands.
People talk, actions talk louder than words.
If i talk about a subject and you're not interested it's for whom it may concern.
Life can be long road where we live and learn.
Sometimes we take the wrong turn.
I handle my business.

I believe I should be selected for the custom stick so that I may be able to promote fighting games around my area, as well as the use of joysticks for the arcade feel. I will admit that I do have several sticks already, but I would like to win a multi-console stick so that I will still be able to play some of the other fighting games on the older consoles, such as Guilty Gear and Fate/Unlimited Codes on the PS2, and Marvel vs. Capcom 2 on the Dreamcast.
I used to work at an arcade room until it closed down in 2007. Although our game room wasn't the latest when it came to fighting games, we did what we could to promote Street Fighter, The King of Fighters, and some of the older fighters by holding tournaments and informing new players on days when good players would gather for casuals. Our arcade, as well as others, simply faltered due to the failing economy and people tightening their budgets by not visiting as much, if at all. Nowadays, I attend tournaments and try to hold gatherings for some of the other games, such as Blazblue and Melty Blood. In general, winning this stick would help me in continuing my passion for a scene that I believe will only continue to grow.

i would like to win this contest because i feel like im be in the street fighter community for a while and still play street fighter even through college. its been a big part of my life as a kid growing up and i think fighting games will just keep getting better. Winning this a custom stick would play a big part in my childhood and it shows that fighting games cant be removed from my childhood.

I love this stick , I feel I'll be able to improve alot with it. Alot of people (me too ) can't afford even one . And all deserve an honest chance to win this competition. So am I.

Why do I earn a custom stick?
after watching a hardware woensdag episode on gamekings.tv
I thought to myself.. DAT IS VET!(THAT'S AWESOME)
though, I could state all my financial/personal problems.. I won't
instead I'll say I deserve to win this stick..
Because... I am the first dutch person to post a reason here!(I think)
JEEEEUUUJJ!
Thank you

Well I don't think gender has to do with selecting right?
Well I'm not really great making people choose me. Well I'll try! Well I'm almost graduating High school and have plans to go to California for college like to have a piece of me going with it.I am a big fan of fighting games and I'm the only girl in a 30 block radius that actually plays video games let alone fighting games. I like playing with my older brother since he is the one who taught me how to play and I respect other gamers. I don't mind if I'm the only girl in a room with a BUNCH of guys. Really I don't even notice...
~Thanks~

I have had 3 madcatz ticks for my PS3 and 2 for XBOX360 and neither have been able to last as long as I need it to last for my hours long of intense training mode sessions that average 2-3 hours at a time. Looking forward to be tournament ready starting January but I need a stick that can last. From based on the quality of what I've seen I think you're sticks will most definitely be durable enough to hold up. Seriously, I'm just looking for a stick that doesn't suck.

Dear Eventhubs,
For the past 2 years ive been really getting into fighting games, mainly Street Fighter 2,3, and 4. I've had SF 2 since the SNES ages, but i was too young to really understand the metagame. This website was the first one that i came across when i was trying to learn basics. Now when i first started playing, i almost quit within the first week. I couldn't beat ANYONE with my Ryu. it was almost depressing, because i was just losing to JUMP BACK HEAVY KICK, SWEEP x100. nevertheless i just kept playing. i didnt have a stick but the ps3 controller was enough for me, that analog stick ain't to shabby for ryus quarter circle motions. ANYWAYS, as the months progressed i came to your site EVERYDAY. In fact your site is my homepage lol. It lets me read up on the latest fighting game buzz.
I told myself that buying a stick would be a waste of money, besides its not like i was going to be pro. But as i kept playing i just wanted a stick more and more. i bought one of those madcatz fightpads...and it was great...for 1 day, then it broke...that really deterred me from buying a stick too lol. At this time i was in G2 barely scraping by haha. I started reading reviews on sticks, mainly the SE and TE madcatz ones. basically i read "SE sticks suck, in order to make SE sticks good you have to spend the same amount of money as a TE stick and replace all the bad parts." so i was like ok...screw the SE stick, TE is where its at, and DAMN that crap was $150. thats like 3 games. So then i was just boycotting sticks all together...until my friend got one. i went to his house every FREAKING day to play. Before, i had never used a fightstick outside of an arcade, but this TE was SO NICE. I told myself if i ever made it to G1 i would buy a stick..and thats when the grinding began..haha
So, yeah...i hit G1 :) haha and i had been saving money from my paychecks and i bought that TE stick for myself. As SOON as i got home i had to listen to my mom bitch at me for wasting my money. Imagine some crazy asian woman SCREAMING at you because you just spent $149.99 + tax on a big hunk of plastic. well i got past that and for the first time playing street fighter i felt pro haha. I started going to tournaments around here, only to realize i was nowhere near pro lol. but that didnt stop me. i started going to tournys, even if i didnt enter i would just go to watch. It was great, i dont think ive loved a game this much since World of Warcraft haha.
Anyways, fast forward to about 2 months ago. My stick broke... :( something is wrong with the usb cable. It just wont connect to my ps3 anymore, none of the buttons work, nothing...basically im about to quit playing...i havent played in like a month, but i still come here everyday just to look at new arcade edition changes and MvC3 updates. Anyways it would be cool if i got 1 christmas present this year that i DIDN'T have to buy myself.

I think I should win the contest because... I don't think I've ever won an internet contest. That and I have a love of arcade sticks.
I've been following Shadaloo.eu for a while and was considering ordering a stick from them a month or two back but I didn't have the funds, sadly.

I think I should win the contest because my experiences with custom sticks have been a nightmare :(
About a year and a half ago, maybe two years ago I was enthusiastic about getting a custom stick, and contacted a fairly well known and established stick maker to get one made. I had great plans for the stick, and it was going to be my one and only stick. Fast forward 8 months, excuses for why it wasn't done, I broke down and bought a HRAP2, and learned how to solder, I was going to play, custom stick or not. I continued to pester the stick maker, who disappeared for a few months after that, until the next February, when my stick was "going to be done". The stick itself was mis-aligned, the art I had made up to be put in the stick was not there (It was plexi on top of nothing!), the plexi glass was not aligned properly, and one of the pcbs I gave him was fried. I was gutted. I absolutely did not want to see this thing, it was nothing like I had paid for (but at this point I wanted the entire situation over with). I took the PS3 PCB, straightened out the plexi and stick, and gave it to my friend to learn on. I've been hesitant to order another custom stick, ever since.
The positive to it is that it taught me how to solder, and do other maintenance on arcade sticks, and I give back to the community, by answering questions on Shoryuken, as well as doing mods in my local community for virtually no cost (I once did a dual mod for a soda). I'm not interested in making money off of my work, I just want people to be educated, and play fighting games with me! If I won this stick, I think it'd be a a well deserved trophy for how much I've taught myself, and how much I try to give back to those in my community.

Hey i'am 17 and ill be honest maybe am not as hard core as some of these guys. i got interested in street fighter when sf4 came out but i can tell you that Ive been practicing nonstop every day to try and show up at tournaments to experience street fighter at its best. the only thing i need that i know will help me is a fight stick. my friend was letting me borrow his but he just recently took it back and its blows playing on the remote my simple combos wont even come out. any ways thanks for the opportunity.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Not entering since I actually own the Avengers stick shown at the top of this page, but just letting people know that the quality of the stick is excellent, and Shadaloo definitely deserves attention for making a quality product.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I've been a fan of Street Fighter ever since the release of Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo on the SNES. To be honest I had no idea how to play characters except for Ryu & Ken. Maybe a few others, but not as well as those two. The reason because I'd play it at my friend's house who lost the booklet. So either him or I knew how to play anyone else effectively.
Then about 20 years or so down the road when SFIV was released I finally learned how to use other characters. Not to mention it the first SF game I owned myself. First I used Ken, big surprise right? Then one day I picked Vega and loved him. Mainly for his speed and agility, as well as a not so popular character used on online.
Even though I picked Vega as my main I wasn't so good with him. Especially being a pad that I am. After playing so much Vega since SFIV learning the basics and whatnot. Learning the properties of each move...what was safe and what was not. All little by little getting better over the past 2 years or so.
But I feel like I'm at a disadvantage using a controller with a charge character. I often mess up strings and punishments because of the controller. I usually stick to U2 because U1 is difficult for me to do, even I mess up U2 a lot too. It's so embarrassing sometimes.
I feel like SF isn't a very controller friendly game. It might be for people who use non-charge characters, but I'm worse when using them. Call me crazy, but in my opinion the execution on strings are much more difficult for them.
It doesn't help the fact that I'm a pad Vega. I started playing SF competitively since IV and I want to get better. I really think a stick can help me out. Not only I think it'll help become a better Claw player, but overall as a SF player.

The reason im interested in this stick is because i Have been playing streetfighter for years.until i ran into Streetfighter 3 3rd strike.Im Picked up dudley and played him for years until my stick broke but since im an only child with a who has a bad job its hard getting anything for christmas or my birthday.i cant get a job since im still in school.so i tried to make my own arcade stick and found out its more difficult than it sounds.i was impressed with the stick because of its beautiful Design and it had my favorite character in it
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
The reason that I decided to enter this contest was because, not more than a year ago I really got into Street Fighter. I have never had an arcade stick, however I main Dudley and have been using him in third strike and SSF4 since i was able too. I firmly believe that an Arcade Stick would greatly improve my Dudley game and strongly help me in my quest to become a top street fighter player.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I think the reason I should win this contest is because I've been an avid street fighter fan since the SNES days. I've always been decent/good, but ever since the arcade days the stick just clearly gave the advantage. I haven't been able to afford one, because of financial reason (college student). In my region, there are lots of people I know who play fighting games. The problem is there are no tournaments around. Being able to win a stick would improve my gameplay, allowing my credibility to increase so I could host some local tournaments. Who knows if these small tournaments could maybe lead into something big like the NorCal/SoCal tournaments.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
The reason for wanting this custom stick is because DUDLEY is my MAIN!! GOTTA REPRESENT!!
Also I've been playing on pad every since. I guess a custom stick wont be too hard to learn/practice when it's free. =]
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I think i should win because i plan on becoming a tournament player in the future and i need a good one badly because the tekken stick sucks!!!,and i think u guys will be really happy when you hear/watch me win and can say i gave that guy a free arcade stick :)
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Ok, why do i think i should win? Well, im taking my 1st steps into the big SSF4 tournament scene, and I want a stick ready for tournamente play, and to tell the truth, im completely broke atm. I usually visit this website everyday to see the news and other interesting stuff like videos, etc. Shadaloo is also a very good website imo, and if it werent for the price, I would have already bought a stick from there.
So thats it, if i won one stick for free, expecially from shadaloo, i would be ready to go, and kick some real arse ;D.

Hello EVENTHUBS,
First and foremost i will take this opportunity to thank SHADALOO and EVENTHUBS for coming up with this novel idea. For people like us it is nothing less than a godsend.
Coming to why i wish to win the stick,
*I LOVE Street Fighter.
*I come From INDIA and there is no SF scene anywhere(atleast i do not no any).
*I wish to promote SF in INDIA.
*I play on a keyboard and play ZANGIEF.Hence i cannot play him well.
*Not only do i want to learn but also to teach SF to all my friends.
*Buying a stick costs upwards of 3 months of the average salary(that is if i can find any).
I will be greatful to you forever for providing me a tool which will help me realize my dream of promoting SF.
THANK YOU and best of luck to all contestants.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I think I should win because I spend a lot of time teaching others how to get better locally. There are many times where it would really come in handy to have a stick for my friends to play with so I can teach them how to play SSFIV the way it's meant to be played and not on the pad! There's nothing I want more than to see the SF scene (and Cross Counter specifically) grow!
Thanks for the contest and opportunity Eventhubs and Shadaloo!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
in all honesty i would like this stick but with a ryu, rufus, and adon picture like three pictures in a triangle formation to honor the three best characters in my opinion.
the reason i would want a stick is because it would feel good to have one since i have had to borrow my friends stick alot when it comes time to my local tourneys. i want to further my game to the best and surpass the best.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/49787572...
I would like to win an arcade stick so that I can get more practice and be better at fighters overall, since I currently play on the pad and the occasional borrowed stick, to which I cannot bring my best game, but can block much better. The reason why the mario stick is my favorite would be because recognizes and shows a stick can be used for many more games to get the arcade feel and better performance. I can guarantee that if I win, the only reason I'll be picking up a controller would be for shooter.
Thanks Santa! ;)
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I would like to win an arcade stick so i can get more practice in fighting games i have a ps3 controller and i can hardly do combos with it And i Only Have 1game on my ps3 I know its sad but i dont have no money right now and by thats the only game i have i want 2 get better at playing it all street fighter games i have played are awesome when my friends invite me 2 tourneys i cant hardly play because of my ps3 controller and if you are reading please let me have something And the design of your artwork are awesome everytime i go into game stop and i look at the fighting sticks i never cant get it i cant afford it really i just got 1 controller 1 game and that is super street fighter 4 i love the game so much but my controller acts up and it takes the value away of this awesome game I need some for christmas dont have nothing much really
I really like this one. Simple design with wonderful martial.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I think I should win the contest because I worked so hard on building several sticks in the past, but due to family issues, they were all taken against my will along with all of my consoles and many other things. I tried asking parts for my birthday that came up just a few days ago, but no dice. Winning a brand new high quality stick would be one of the best birthday/christmas present I could have right now.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Well I want to win because i think i'm good at SSFIV and a good stick will help to improve my game even more... Since vanilla came out almost 2 years ago i always wanted a good stick to make my SF experience even better, but... sadly, the situation where i live makes me really difficult to get one... political reasons makes almost impossible to import that kind of stuff here (We don't have access to USD, Euros, etc to buy stuff overseas) and if you find someone who does for you he'll sell it 4 or 5 time more expensive... Here that's a lot of money i can't afford to pay now (like 5 months of salary)... Even create your own stick is amost impossible if can't import the parts and you'll not find them here because the arcade scene is dead here... I just want the stick my situation doesn't allow me to get and the stick i deserve for been loyal to SF and this community from more that 20 years since my start when i was a kid playin SFIIWW
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I think I deserve to win because I am very serious into getting better at Super Street Fighter 4, however I did not make the switch to a stick yet. A custom stick would be perfect for the switch and it would last me for quite some time while being a very solid tool to use.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Well no fantasy stories only the true.
I wish I had that stick because I only play fighting games and right now I got a stick and I call it "frankinstein" because is made with diferrent parts of broken sticks who my friend gave me. The stick is almost dead and I don't have the money to buy a new one. I play really well sf4 and I really want that beautiful stick. Sorry about my enlgish i'm PuertoRican. God Bless.
Easily, http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
It's so simple, and intimidating.
(Part 1 of 3.)
As for me, this contest seemed to pop up in the greatest of times.
For those who don't know me, I'm dmbrandon. I coached halo3, and am one of the top Smash Bros players in the country.
When most people these days think of Smash or Brawl, they think "kiddie game." The aesthetics are pretty childish, but the game takes a deep level of basic fighting game mechanics and fundamentals to be played at a high level. For instance, Seth Killian on the Norcal stream tonight talked about how he prefers Street Fighter to most 3d fighters because there's always that constant struggle between those who need to get in on their opponents, and those who need to keep their opponents out.
Smash bros has a lot of this, and was always my main draw to the series. Lately, however, things in the Brawl comminuty have turned sour.
The game is taking a leap into a type of play that's frowned upon, and not many are willing to follow. Frankly, I think it's pitiful how far kids with Sirlin's "play to win" attitude are going. Using invincibility frames gained from ledge grabs to run eight minute clocks, and the energy of the audience just to make a buck is getting old. Sure, I do what I have to do to win, but even if I'm in a do-or-die situation, I can't bring myself to play like that. My inner competitive fire burns, and I rush until either me or my opponent dies.
Now, don't get me wrong, Smash isn't the only game I put my time into. I'm 24, and have been playing Street Fighter since before I understood that saying upperC**T was not only the incorrect way, but extremely frowned upon. (Sagat's American voice actor is to blame. Don't hate me) The first real memory was when I was about 4, and my dad gave me two dollars to play in the super market when he was shopping. I thought "WOW! I can play all eight characters with this! BEST DAY!!" My next two conscious thoughts were:
1. Man, this computer is hard. What the...
2. Dhalsim is broken. (Thanks Fchamp for helping me out with that.)
As the years went on, my love for all gaming grew. I played nonstop. When I was about nine, I started finding competitions to go to. I started really getting heavy into competitive gaming when I won a Rally Cross regional when I was about 11. Funcoland sponsored one, and I'm ashamed to say that one of the employees felt bad for me taking second place in a preliminary round, and fixed the scores to help me win, since I was just a kid. (I wouldn't find out until I was 19!) I helped his plight by blowing away the northeast competition in the regional. I met so many amazing people, and was so excited, I could barely contain myself.
I got straight bodied at nationals, but whatever.
(Part 2 of 3)
Fast forward to 2000, I went to the local import shop, and picked myself up a copy of Marvel2 the day of Japanese release. (about a week before the arcades near me.) My japanese stick and me focused on training mode for World of Warcraft amounts of time to ensure I was the best on my block. And boy, was I. I OCV'd anyone in a 20 mile range for at least 6 months. Jill and I were unstoppable. (BTW SO HYPED, YOU HAVE NO IDEA.)
Of course, I started to fall from the scene as more games came out. I got into MMOs like Lineage 1 and Everquest, so a lot of my time went into those. In 2004, I started player Super Smash Bros Melee. Of course, I thought I was the s***. It's funny, cause in smash, there's always a group of friends, and one is always the best, and that kid thinks he can take on the world. And my silly delusions played circles in my mind until 2006, when I saw a video that would ultimately change my life forever:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?doc...
Bomb Soldier's: Soldier of Fortune.
By today's standard, this video is GARBS. He has no idea how to follow up or control, but back then, it was Smash's first look at what the world was doing. For me, it was my first look even down the highway. Needless to say, I was floored. I had no idea that the rest of the world gave a damn about what I cared about. Sure, people online on whatever game I was obsessed with would give me trouble from time to time, but I was always the best when I really put my mind to it.
After Melee, I put a ton of time into Third Strike. A few top 3 places at the break with my akuma, and I felt damn good about myself. So many good players, and I never expected (or achieved) a tournament win. Back then, it wasn't about winning the money. It was just about winning.
In 2008, I decided I'd go back to my importing roots, and grab myself a Japanese Wii and a Copy of Brawl over a month before it'd be released in America. I wanted desperately to be a top player, so I trained and trained and trained until my fingers bled. It was important to me.
The first time I fought the previous game's national champion in tournament, I beat him. And not barely. I annihilated him. Imagine your first time really meeting Justin Wong when you're a random stream monster, then showing up to a tourney, and giving him the worst beating he's had in 3 years.
That was me. And it was one of the best days of my life.
Suddenly, amongst my time at the top, other players started getting amazingly good. Perhaps my ego got to me, but for whatever reason, I decided I wasn't going to practice anymore. I didn't need to. I was good enough to show up to tourneys, trash on some randoms, take top 2, split it and pay the bills. I didn't need to work, or do anything.
Six months later, the top 2 scene disappeared. I suddenly was fighting for my life to place 5th. Sometimes 7th. these days, I'm happy to see top ten.
(Part 3 of 3.)
When Street Fighter 4 was announced, I lost my mind. I practiced Momochi's Akuma combos until it hurt. I still remember the first time I saw ex air fireball into s.HK c.LP L.Tatsu to Shoryu. And now I suddenly remember the two hours it took me to finally link it properly.
It took me so long cause I'm using a 360 pad. I didn't last very long in the tournament scene. I went to a few, but always got 25th or lower, and saw no reason to keep going.
SSF4 was announced, and once again, decided I'm really gonna focus. Ibuki looked amazing, and I was so pumped to play and possibly main her, that I went to a local import shop who broke street date, and nabbed myself a copy over a week early. The early BP leader boards had me at second over Aquasilk, who was a clearly superior player. The first time I fought him on live (through random matchmaking) I barely beat him, but I knew he'd pick Zangief with gave me the chance to play Seth. :3 (That matchup sucks) I'm 100% positive that if we were to fight in any matchup now, he's perfect me.
Christmas of 2009, my roommate scored a used Limited Marvel stick from a local Gamestop. Unluckily, I'm a idiot with squaregate. One of my close friends comes over, and we play online against other randoms. He'll use the stick for 10 or so games, then I'll pad it up, and we'll talk about mistakes.
The reason I would like to win this contest, is because this contest is the only way for me to get as good as I wanna be, without spending hundreds of dollars I don't have (rent, car insurance, phone, groceries, smash travel money) is to get a custom stick. The idea of having over 300$ to spend on a stick make my hair stand on edge.
People tell me I can succeed on pad, but it's so near impossible to get perfect directional inputs as a character who has to utilize QC motions a lot. The only players who I see who are really extraordinarily good (which is where I want to be) on pad, are Shizza and Vangief. Chun is a charge character, and pad is a bit more forgiving. And Zangief is 360s, which force buffering anyway. (I still don't know how he's doing those standing 720s. That guy is a god.)
I've been at the bottom, and I've been at the top. I know if I won the stick, that it would see years of use, and hopefully some spotlight.
http://www.eventhubs.com/images/2010/...
Winning this contest would be a boost for me,especially this contest a custom arcade stick, wow that left me flabbergasted. Lately life has been tough on me and at times playing fighting games really takes a lot of stress out. I love fighting games and especially MVC3 coming out, this would really be a great gift and done by Shadaloo wow this guy's work is just amazing(Seen it on SRK) but I got to college/only work part-time can't afford to buy a custom stick especially in Euros. This is my shot at winning this contest.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I would like to win this fightstick because I recently went to my first tournament with my SE Fightstick, and it has some problems, my X button (or jab) is starting to flake out on me and it just doesnt work like it used to. I managed to take second in the tourny, but who knows, in the future I could be playing in something as small as a tournament between friends or as big as EVO 2011, I want a tool for fighting games that I know will not let me down. If this is one of my only shots to win a fightstick thats made to last, Im taking it.
The reason I chose the Dudley stick is because he is one of my favorite characters, I love the flow and style that comes with playing Dudley, you can lose 10 matches in a row...but at least you kept it "Classy".
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Arcade Fight stick...FTW! Also I like Nachos.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I would like to win this stick because...
A. I've only got a pad to play with.
B. I'm a pro Keyboard (yes like the piano kind...)player, how could this not improve my game significantly?
C. My mains are Vega and Dee Jay and with out a stick I can't plink with DJ or kara throw with Vega which would be a major up in my game on both departments
D. I think Dee Jay is the one and only "MAN" and is underestimated by most people... I can't use him as well as is possible because of my pad's lackings, I would like to change some people's minds about Dee Jay and a stick could be the thing to do it
E. I have always wanted my first stick to have an octagonal gate and a bat top as well as a few other odds and ends. And now I've seen that Shadaloo has some of the best custom stick options I've seen yet... I might not win but at least my story is legit :)
So far my favorite stick is the Marvel theme stick with Captain America, Iron Man and Thor.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Why would I want to win, well everyone wants to win.
Why am I different?I got no sob story here, what I do have is goals and aspirations. I am an inspiring stick modder my self and this would be the perfect opportunity to see someone else arcade stick in person, not to imitate others, but to learn and make my own creations and innovations.
I have no link because . . .
I'd be MORE than happy to receive ANY stick there is ! I'll do with the most simple stick . Just to have one would be a great feeling . I'm super short on cash and don't even live with my own family so every dollar goes to food or laundry . I live another day wanting to play SSF4 and progress it's much more than a simple game or hobby to me I just wanna get better and play big games with pros and become one myself . But I'm in a dead end with no stick and pad isn't working out to well . Winning this arcade stick will be amazing and it'd be like a Nascar I'd show off where I got it from eventhubs and shadaloo stickers or something even if I have to make them myself . XD I don't have to much luck in life but if this is even read I'm great full . Thanks for the opportunity guys !
This is my favorite stick since dudley is my favorite character.

So im Sedric im 17 and I have been playing SF since i was about 6 years old with my older brother and it was a fun time so when he moved out and my cousin moved in with us hes best friend let him have SF Aniversary Collection on the PS2 and from then on i fell in love with SF3 3rd Strike something with Dudley just clicked, so then my cousin moved out and took the game..........fast forward to september of 09 when i decided to purchase SF4 ive stuck with a 360 controller since just because i was afraid that i would spend probobly 200+ dollars on a high quality stick and i wouldnt be able to adjust since i have never used one, so i would have wasted my money and im getting ready to start entering the few tournaments and casuals we have her in Texas i think it would give me change to really up my game and also boost my friends game and help me to decide if this is something i want to take serouisly as a career because i feel like i have the talent and the work ethic but i feel like my "hardware" is limiting me.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I would like to win because of my brother. Growing up, we always hated each other but Street Fighter always brought us together. It gave us an outlet towards the hate we build up with the arguements we had. As couple years passed, we bonded from playing against each other. It changed though as once he had his daughter, he spends most of his time working full-time to take care of her. We barely hang out now but it's ok with me, I realized over the years from our fighting, family is what's really important. If I win, I can always reminisce the times that my brother and I spend in the arcades back in the day.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I'd like to win my own custom stick. The main reason is because I keep running into money problems when I try to get one. The majority of the money I get goes towards my car which needs some fixing, that can be a real pain in the butt. I wear glasses, and recently broke them, so I had to go replace them, which set me back again. Needless to say, whenever I did have enough to order one, something has to get in the way and set me back. But if I win this stick, then I can scratch off getting a fight stick off my list. A friend of mine did also send me a SE Stick, but it's far too damaged and costly for me to buy new parts.
I'm gonna have to go with my man Dudley here:

Classy.
My story begins long ago, around the time of the great $30 Fight Stick sale of '10. I rushed to my local wal-mart with joy and my heart and a tear in my eye, overjoyed at the notion that I would be able to spend the pennies I earn scraping gum from under tables at my local high school on a beautiful, brand-new fight stick and finally upgrade from *shudder* the xbox 360 d-pad. However, when I got to wal-mart, I discovered that the scrubs had taken ALL THE FIGHT STICKS. Suddenly, everyone in my local scene was able to take me on easily; it seems now that the scrubs will soon have total control of Tempe, Arizona. To say that I DESERVE this fightstick is something of an understatement. To defend my skillz, to beat the scrubs, to save the world from the scrubs... I NEED this. For great justice.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I'd like to win a fight stick, as I'm an international student in the U.S with no main job, and extremely low on funds. I survive on ramen and soups. I've been playing vanilla SF 4 with the default 360 controller, and I'm not ready to play Super SF 4 until I get a stick..took me forever to perform all the Hard Combo Challenges in SF 4. Oh, and all my SF buddies in Scottsdale and Mesa have one.

Immediately apologize for my bad English. Hello from the harsh Russian:) Playing Street Fighter I started when I was 9 years old. Part 2 was one of the best games for me. I live in a small town and arcade, we were not, therefore, in Part 3 I have not played at all. Then came SF4 and I began to train for tournament play. Playing on xbox360 joystick for Zangief, and honestly it's inconvenient, but I never stick to buy can not because they simply are not in Russia at all, well, or the price is just insane. Now I have a XBOX360 and a SSF4 I spend a lot of time trying to kill the top players in LIVE, with a joystick is sometimes unrealistic. I would like to get a arcade stick, and finally reach their full potential! Thank you for this contest.

Because a troll needs to keep it classy. 'Nuff said.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Interesting to see a stick with a design not ripped from a fighting game. Easy to slap Akuma on a stick and say "Schweet!" and while it WILL look cool, it is a generic kind of cool; the wave is an altogether different kind of cool.
Why Do I deserve something for nothing? My credentials include:
US expat (GTFO).
Loving husband (brow-beaten serf).
Father of two (beautiful monsters).
College language arts teacher (Dancing Monkey).
Absolutely suck at fighting games nowadays. Slowly realizing my high school and college skills may be lost forever... without the right stick, that is!!!
Logic Bonus: Jamming for hours on end on a large, clicky, garishly colored hunk of plastic and wood while my children try to sleep and I'm supposed to be grading tests will undoubtedly make my wife love me more than she already does!

Pink. Rufus. Hungry.

I really like this design because it's slick and very simple.
I've been playing street fighter for a few years now, mostly SFIII3s on ggpo but I play a lot of ssf4 with friends. We only have 1 stick as a group, so we alternate where one guy plays on pad all the time. I really wish we could get another stick so that we wouldn't have to alternate, and it would be awesome if I won this contest so that I can share it with my friends. Thanks!

...because it's the only way I can get chicks to touch my stick.

Because With all the changes to fei long, I need to be able to ruin people in absolute style. I mean beautiful, guys go home and cry, beg for death, and decide that maybe they should just enjoy the game, but really they're dying inside at losing so damn much, and because my stick is so boss, kind of style. Run on sentence kind of style too, by the way. I can't have that without a shadaloo stick. It's quite impossible.

I would love to win that fight stick that way I can give one of my old fight sticks to my one year old son. He loves to watch me and my friends play SSF4 and MvC2, but he's always attacking my fight stick in the middle of a fight. Maybe if I win I can give him one of my old sticks and look pringles with ma curleh mustache when MvC3 hits! Plus it's Mahvel Baybee!!!

I should win this because.. I have no arcade stick? wait that's been used already.. OK, I should win this because I'm sexier than everyone who posted above me, and everyone who will post below me.

I think I should win because...Well I've been playing Fighting games since I was 6. I've always wanted to play at a competitive level but I never was able to achieve that feat. But now since SF4's release I've been making it out to local tourneys, playing casuals whenever I can and basically trying to make a push to play at a higher level. I have much respect for pad players being one myself, but it's just not working out for me and I would love to make a leap to using stick. But at $150+ to find one that's actually worth it and not break in a few months is kinda out of my budget. When I seen this I thought wow here's a chance for me to actually get a REAL stick and save money in the process. But I can't win losing. Even if I don't get it, I wanna thank EventHubs for doing this and allowing people to get their hands on some Gorgeous Sticks.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I deserve to win this stick, because Super Street Fighter 4 has not been released on the PC. So I'm going to buy a console only for fighter games. My old stick is modded to work with PC only :(. So I need a new stick which works with ps3, xbox360, and PC. And on top of that I just moved to another house with a white interior and i got a black stick :P.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I believe i should win a new stick, because i love MVC2, SSF2THDR, SF4, SSF4... but more than that i love playing baseball, when i'm not on the field i'm on my fightstick, but i've been sick and stuck at home for a pretty long time now, so the only thing i really find joy or solace in is playing fighting games. But this modded SE stick i have continues to mess up and disconnect in the middle of matches, so i wanna thank everyone at eventhubs and shadaloo for this oppurtunity to help me cope with this depression without any baseball. lol THANKS!!

As an all around fighting fan, I have always been keen to fighting games at a young age, the adrenaline that rushes through you is the most intense compared to other genres of video gaming. I have also always adored PC, as it's customisability reflects on these magnificent fighting sticks in all it's glory. I am currently enjoying Vanilla Street Fighter 4 on the PC, hopefully awaiting the PC announcement of Super, whilst using my Xbox360 SE Stick. However I may decide to get a console sooner or later, and I don't want the hassle of being restricted to one of them. I like to watch all fighting games, through the use of emulators such as GGPO and Supercade or just using youtube.
I would appreciate an oppurtunity to win something that I would keep close to me, as a growing fan that will continue to keep fighting games at heart. I am also very thankful for releasing a contest that's worldwide, being based in the UK where fighting games aren't as recognisable compared to other regions
Thanks

I've recently jumped into the Fighting scene and i have fallen in love. I suck but i just can't stop playing, but i could use a new stick and get better!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I've always been a fan of fighting games, but it hasn't been until a few months ago that I really got stuck in. I bought Street Fighter IV and ever since I've been hooked! I have spent countless hours practising and practising, and even bought myself arcade stick.
However, I never really felt like the arcade stick was truly my own, but a stick like this, one I could customise myself? This is really what I have been looking for, and lord knows I would never need nor want for anything again! I would be the envy of my friends, whether they play fighting games or not!
You see, I love fighting games to bits, from Marvel vs Capcom to Street fighter, and I can certainly guarantee you, the time and effort this stick will be subjected to will far outweigh it's price tag!

This stick is classy. I am classy. Classy men should have classy sticks. When I win this stick all will enjoy losing to me as my wrists relax on leather. The scent of oak will mingle with Jameson in the game room of sophistication. Tears shall pour from children's eyes from watching the pure elegance of my fingers moving with precision over raven disks. The Gods, enticed by my glory, shall oblige me with my likeness in the stars. Now deliver to me that which is rightfully mine.

The first game I ever bought, other than the Super Mario Bros. that came with my NES, was Street Fighter 2 Turbo. I fell in love with the game from the start, granted I was seven and had no idea how to do any of the moves. I played it constantly, up until the point that my NES broke.
Many years went by and I forgot about the game that I loved. I went into college for only a year, but was forced to drop when the economy went down. I worked full time to help my family with bills, but managed to save enough money to buy a PS3 and a copy of Street Fighter 4. When I played Street Fighter again, I was reminded of those simpler times, when I didn't have to worry about paying bills, loans, going back to school, etc.
Now that I have managed to get back in school, I am on a college budget once again, and am not able to spend any eccessive amount of money on anything that isn't tuition, food, or rent. I want to get better at this game that I love and I have heard that a TE stick is the way to go, but I have nowhere near enough money for one.
I hope to win this stick to improve my game and defeat my challengers, as I have been attempting to defeat the greatest challenger of all: life. And if I do win this stick and manage to vanquish my foes, then maybe I will be able to go back to those simpler times.

I think I should win because I've never had a fight stick of quality before, I've been using a Fight Stick 3 from Hori because it was on sale and I couldn't afford much else. I've been into fighting games pretty heavily now for the last 4-5 years, before that I was a little more casual, I played them, but not on a serious level. Now that I'm trying to actually be good, and just started actually playing Super Street Fighter 4 not too long ago, I think this would be a great opportunity for me to get a stick worth anything to level up my game. That way, I can actually go to local tournaments and try my hand, and not lose to my stick being a piece of garbage.

In my country, Hungary, you can't get any fight sticks, expecially not with Ryu and the whole team on it. The worst part is, there's not even any street fighter community, so me and my friends try our best at home every friday, with old fashioned fight sticks. So I write on the behalf of our little team of college students, that tries to follow the world events (particularly via eventhubs). One of us, learning journalism, has even started a hungarian Street Fighter section on one of our gamer websites, and he would be exspecially delighted, if we would win (he's the biggest fan of Ken). I myself just trying to get to the next level, but I'm stuck because of the technical background. I'm in kind of a hurry, because I've teached my girlfriend so much by now, that she is able to beat me sometimes.
As another argument to prove our desperation: our latest drinking event has been called Hadouken night. The core idea is, that we go through the different types of hadoukens according to strength, in form of a self invented cocktail, that is supposed to express the soul of the given hadouken. Meanwhile, there are some thematic matches and music of course. Shoryuken night is planned.
If we don't win, I would still suggest everybody to try Hadouken night. Maybe that idea could be our contribution to the international community.:)

It is my birthday tomorrow, no lie. But yeah, that's not a terribly good reason since you don't know me so there's no obligation. Real reason: I'm at a crossroads with what I want to do with my life but I still love games. I would like to have a quality arcade stick since fighting games are easy to play for as little or long as you want, which is perfect for how much time I have now to play games and how much (read: little) time I will have in the future.
I like this stick the most http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo... because i'ts the gamekings stick and shadaloo is the king in making gaming custom arcade sticks.(viva hollanida) And i think i should win a shadaloo custom arcade stick because its almost sinter klaas in holland and my parents dont want to give me an arcade stick at sinter klaas and i don't have the money for it so please let me create a arcade stick so i can be a happy boy.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
i really want this stick because i havent been able to get the kind of money to even come close to buying a standard stick..my family is very poor and cant afford a stick at all.the only thing i have been using for a year was a ps3 pad.i really want a chance to use a good fightstick because i want to get better and join tournaments because there are like no ssf4 tournys for ps3.thats why i want a stick.i cant get a job because im only 14 i can get one next year but that means no tournaments for a year and i really would like to join evo 2011,,i main a really aggressive guile with people saying im the top guile on psn which i hope is true =].also this year christmas wont be any fun not alot or any presents at all because my family is all broken up and we are all seperated across the united states

It was 10 years ago. I was a young, fresh-faced 16-year old lad who loved fighting games. It'd been raining that day. In fact, it'd been raining all week. It felt like it was never going to let up. But I was fine with it. There was a brightness inside me that wasn't fazed by the dark weather. I knew that no matter what was going on, I could always count on going home after school, breaking out two fighting sticks, and playing fighting games with my dad.
But it was different that day. When I got home, I saw that the front door was slightly ajar, and the door handle had been ripped off. I knew something was amiss. I rushed in there and quickly scanned the room. My eyes picked up a fresh trail of blood leading into my living room and I ran in, not knowing what to expect. I fell to my knees horrified, my eyes glazing over as tears welled up in my eyes and a thick knot began to constrict my throat.
In the center of my living room was my father's dead body, tightly clutching the remnants of two broken fight sticks. I knew that my father had been involved in a number of high-stakes money matches, but I never thought it would lead to something like that. For 10 years I've been avoiding the unavoidable, trying to distance myself from what I had to do. But I know now that I must train. I must train and avenge my father. And to do so, I need this stick. With this stick, I may just be able to slay the monster in a Super Street Fighter IV match to the death.

Why do I think I should win this stick? Well it's simply because I'm a huge fighting game enthusiast, and would, without a doubt, use it until it's ground into a fine dust. The simple charm of the Dudley design adds to the overall classiness of whoever uses it, which I could use a serious boost in. Having a curly mustache like that close to my presence would definitely give me the edge to ascend the ranks of fighterhood. The color scheme is a cool mix of colors which features my favorite shade of blue. it's like THIS STICK WAS MADE FOR ME. I look forward to winning this stick and posting pictures of it all over SRK immediately afterwards.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I feel like the reason I should win this stick is because I feel like this stick expresses me and my personality better than any controller or other stick can. What I mean when I say that is like the colors and the way they were used tell a lot about me.
The stick is mostly white which acounts for my nice side but still has some black on it as well and that represents my darker side. The red buttons are great addition because that is my favorite color and I was glad to see that it was not over used or underused.
Afro Samurai expresses me in a way of his determination to take out number one and become number 1. In everything I do I always want to be number one. I feel like just owning this stick would be a blessing that I will appreciate cherrish forever.

I was unsure why I would enter such a contest since I am a Pad player, but I finally found why I would like a Stick.
I want to win the Stick because where I live now I have gotten only a single friend who actually enjoys SF, but unfortunately he grew up playing only on arcades.
Last month I could finally buy a 360 just for THE GAME, SSF4, but sadly I have gotten only a single joystick. I cannot afford a Stick, winning this contest would mean my friend and I would be able to join in the beauty that is SF played with buddies once again, and I believe that playing online does not, and will never, substitute how it feels to play SF against your real buddies.
It would be just like the SNES times.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I should win this contest because I'm a big fan of fighting games and I'd love to get a stick to play SSF4, SSF2T HD Remix, MvC 2, Blazblue, Tekken and Guilty Gear. MvC 3 will be out after like a decade of waiting and I heard rumors that a new guilty gear will come out on the ps3, so I would be thankful if I can get a stick to get ready for it. I never had a fighting stick, so I could only release my full potential at the arcades. In fact, it's a big shame because I grew up playing with an arcade stick but now I have to use a controller to play against my friends. I got used to the controller, but it still feels weird. Unlike the TE stick, this one looks much cooler (I know, to some of you, the TE might look better but I prefer things nice and simple over cool designs). Shadaloo's sticks looks promising and I'd love to get my hands on one of their products. Another thing, Christmas is around the corner and an arcade stick is what I wanted. It would make me happy if you guys would be Santa Clause and give me one. I'll give you a big glass of milk and lots of delicious chocolate cookies to thank you guys :)
So please, please, PRETTY PLEASE with a big, red, juicy cherry on top, pick me!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I'm your average everyday college student with a hobby in playing video games and doing my own artwork. I play competitively in Street Fighter, Super Smash Brothers, and soon MvC 3.
I would love to win the Stick because, like many of those here, I can not afford to just go out and buy one. But not just that. I feel that winning the fight stick would put some sort of purpose in me, for playing Street Fighter and other fighting games competitively. I notice that a lot of the really good players use sticks. I use a pad. Bringing the stick into my experience would not only give me an initiative and inspiration to become better at the game, it would also let me relive that feeling I had when I was 8, playing games on the arcade with my parents, minus the quarters!

I am a fan of this crazy, psychotic, and sexy b_ _ch who gave up an eye for the ability to shoot pink energy from her feet lol. I watched the anime dedicated to her beating the crap out of chun, guile, cammy, and some random thugs all by herself. One of my favorite endings in SSF4 is when Juri kicks Seth and stomps his chest in. No one else hurt and humiliated Seth that bad in their endings but her. I also have the fight club Juri tshirt and can't bring myself to wear it. Favorite costumes for Juri are her default one and her alt night clubbing one. Also I need a good joystick for doing her stored fireball combos because it is very awkward to do those on pad. I have been an SF player ever since SF2 and that is how my love for fighting games started. It would be nice to play other fighting games with the stick as well.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I have been an avid fan of playing fighting games since I was a kid. Growing up i played Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, KOF, and the Marvel vs Capcom cross over series. I believe that a fighting game is better played with the arcade feeling it was made out to be. Growing up I used Fighting games to get away from the problems i had instead of the drinking and all that other stuff ( i do drink occassionally for fun :P). I use it as an escape and a stress reliever. I picked this stick, The Ryu stick because Ryu represents me as a person, yes he knows he's strong, he has the skills but he never stops to improve himself on his travels. I am the same way, I know i have the tools and the knowledge in life to face the problems i have, but i never stop to learn new things to improve and better my life for the challenges ahead.
hope you pick me. I don't own a stick, i just borrow and practice with my friend's :\

--------------------------------------------------------------I want to win a stick for many reason.
1) My old Fightstick broke cause of a recent tournment when i lost(pulled a Gootecks.
2) This just happend Two days ago -_-, i was at losers finals i "pressed" start and i knew i didnt but it was a glitchy stick and i got salty and threw it.. people thought i was crazy.
3) My parents won't buy me a new fight stick tried to go to walmart here in newyork but they sold out.
4) I cant Mod a fight stick i already broke one trying and that was the one i threw. i messed up with wiring thinking it was easy, But its not and i pelled the skin off and i didn't succeed half of its gone and half of its there.
I Hope you pick me or atleast reconsider :(
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
The reason I believe I deserve to win the most is because this stick will be put to great use. It is not just a mere toy for me to have fun with, but an instrument. An instrument I intend to win with, and become better with. I want to win this stick and use it to reach the top, to become as great as all the high level tournament players in the country and maybe even the world. My community has barely any scene at all, I'm trying so hard to build it up and create something here. This stick would be another step, another goal crossed in order to achieve these two goals. This would help me to spread awareness of fighting games, and to climb higher and higher until I stand at the top with the best. Thank you for this chance, I hope I'm selected. No matter what, I'll keep on playing to win and reach out to everyone I can and tell them of Street Fighter.
Also: I chose this custom stick from Shadaloo.eu because I feel it is the best one they have made visually. The art, the colors, the look and the character used are what describe Street Fighter. Ryu himself is the focal point, the beginning of it all and without him fighting games may not be as they are today. He is a pinnacle of strength and constant journeying for self improvement, which is what competition is all about.

My cousin and I have been playing fighting games for years on pad. I never really played on a fightstick before, until I got the Madcatz TE Stick, and I loved it. I got better at fighting games. So much better that he rarely ever won anymore. Before it used to be the other way around. But now that I'm winning most of time, he doesn't even ask to play much anymore, and even when we do play I can tell he's not having as much fun as he did before. I would love to win a fightstick to give to him, so he could get better, and have fun again. And I'll be giving him something even better than a regular fightstick, an awesome custom fightstick with his favorite character on it, Ken Masters.
Thank you Shadaloo.eu and EventHubs for giving me this opportunity to win this custom stick.

Hi there, I have been following the SF community for a while now. I occasionally find some time to play some street fighter with a few buddies when im not working or taking care of my family. My son has just turned 11 this year and I am hoping to introduce him to this game. However, I have always been playing using a pad and have always felt a little sad that I don't have a joystick to use instead. I am hoping that this can be the opportunity to give my son a great christmas gift I normally could not afford and get him started in this game with an arcade stick. Me and some of my friends has never gotten the chance to play street fighter with an arcade stick and I am sure a lot of people know how it feels. So thank you again for this great opportunity to give a welcoming gift to Street Fighter.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I feel like I should win this for the exact opposite reason why everyone else wants. My community and surrounding area has no fighting game commmunity. Its all about the FPS/racing/sports games all around here. I think being able to show this stick off to people around would help get them interested in the scene because its a scene that gives back. I've always been a fighting game fan way back since UMK3, SSF2T, Killer Instinct, and Tekken, but really got serious toward the tail-end of the 3rd Strike era. TL;DR pick me!
Good luck to everyone who entered!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/49787572...
Why should I win? Well for the same reason every other person does, because I'm greedy and I want an arcade stick.
I get one point for honesty at least right?...right?
Good luck to all the brown nosers above me! :P
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
The reasons why I want to win this stick, our to elevate my game. I want to go out to tournaments, I want to get out into the scene, In fact I want to create a scene here in Louisiana, the likes of Dallas, New York or California...But I need to start somewhere. Also, I work my ass off at 2 gay ass retail jobs, and im a full time student at LSU, putting myself through school. So my wallet is pretty tight, but I still put in time playing my friends in some SSF4(GUY is my main XD), BB:CS, and good ol' Tekken.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Great sf rooster pic here!
Reasons I should win? first of all, I shouldn't win, but maybe with this custom stick I'll be finally able to crush my roommate's face...on ssfiv I mean ;)
Good luck all.

Adon is my Dude!
Any who,the reason I feel I should win is because for one i bought a SE stick from my friend before i knew about the washer problem and now half my inputs dont come out so i look like a scrub. I can't afford to swap out the parts atm so im just using it because i hate the xbox controller. Also I have been training the next generation of Street Fighter players since SF Vanilla, my 3 kids. But alas, they have never experience the thrills of using a stick since i never let them use mine. But if I were to win this stick I could pass down old unreliable to them to train with. Thanks and good luck to everyone!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
For me a fightstick is all about aesthetics, i would love to have a custom fightstick with awesome artwork but its rather pricey to do so. I love the artwork on the stick it has a lot goin on for it but it still looks simple and not too crowded, surely with such a well designed fightstick even if i lose against another DP mashing Ken i can still feel proud of having such a beautiful stick.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I think I should win the fightstick because, well, im too poor to get a fightstick myself, you know what it's like to be a student, crappy job that barely gives you enough money to even buy something like clothes or some snack on school without coming too short to pay for other things. I'm also really a fighting fanatic for a pretty long time, im not THAT old but still, I love them with whole my heart and I hate not being able to buy a stick because I've got no money. I like this stick particulary because I just love Dudley (No homo). I like his personality and playstyle.. He is just my favourite character.. I really hope I win this stick because, well, I always wanted a stick and, well thats it basically.
Well good luck to everyone else and thanks for this oppurtunity Shadaloo.eu and Eventhubs!

A. Love the colors of this stick. Really stuck out to me.
B. Why should i win? I recently got a TE stick for MvC2. And now my Wife wants to learn how to play. She needs a stick. I'd love to do a custom one for her, but i don't have the $$$ for it.
Not only that, but my 8-month-old son LOVES watching MvC2. He grabs my DC stick and will sit next to me while i play, slamming on buttons. So HE'S going to need to learn how to play in a year or two ;)
Proof of Son & MvC2:

Yea, a family of gamers need custom sticks.
Hook a brotha up! ;)
(thanks for the contest!)
I like this stick because it's a 6-button stick and leather is something that I've never seen done before.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I think I should win this contest because I come from a rather isolated area in the Philippines where sticks are just impossible to acquire. I'm in Japan right now and I'm trying to gather as many good sticks as I can for the community back at home. Any additional stick I can get will eventually end up in the hands of a player who literally has no other possible means for getting his hands on a good stick.
Oh, and also I feel I deserve it for building up good karma by helping out people in the SRK Tech Talk forums whenever I can.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
This Deejay stick is soooo grown man. I have a a modded Madcatz SE stick which took me three years to build up to. I'm 32 and don't have money to waste. I also don't want to be laughed at by my co-worker anymore for carrying around a goofy stick. This is a stick a man can show with pride...a stick to be envied...a stick so nice I would be willing to switch my main.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Even though there is no parts in it at all i would just like to have this cammo case for a diverse of many reason. Being a JROTC Cadet atm and going to enlist soon for my country. As well as a reminder of my old but never forgotten Instructor thats in the field of combat atm as a tanker. Fighting is what we do for our countries.HOOAH!!

I've been a fan of your sticks on joystickvault.com for some time and have been inspired to build my own stick... its going slow, but I love it!
I love Street Fighter and have been playing since since I first spotted part 2 in my local pizzeria. I will be playing Street Fighter until the day I die.
When I was 15 years old, I got into a real street fight with some kid I just beat, because he and his friends thought I was too "cheesy"... I lost that one.
I'd love to win but thanks either way just for the inspiration!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I believe I should win because I am currently a college student with no extra income to buy a stick. I've been a fan of SF since I had an SNES as a child, but I've always been painfully average at the games, now especially with the 360 controller. I know the stick will help me improve my game and enjoy fighting games more, since I won't be losing to everyone.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Why do I think I should win? Well, I've never had my own fight stick before and just happened to be looking into it lately. Having just made a return to fighting games after a few year hiatus, I've grown frustrated and hand-achy using a controller. I've always dreamed of having my own fight stick, as cheesy as it sounds. Money is tighter than ever, and with so many great titles around the corner I want to be prepared.
I chose this stick because it appealed to my sensibilities. The soft, cool colors reflect calmness and are easy on the eyes while still popping well, and Dudley's gentlemanly approach to fighting mirrors my own.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I honestly want the stick because I've recently decided to take customization seriously and it may in fact be something that I look to make a real hobby out of (and possibly a few extra bucks) and having an example of a quality stick is important to me.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Why should I win? I don't like mass produced sticks. Everywhere I go, I see people sporting their TEs and T5 sticks and I just cringe inside. Sticks for me are about the form as much as the function. If I won, I'd be able to share the story of this contest and the quality of Jinxz' work. Maybe then, in sharing my passion for custom sticks with each person that comments on it, I could hook more people on the idea of leaving their mass produced sticks behind for something that truly expresses them.

I'm giving up most of my Christmas this year for my 8 year old sister. I've had 7 years of Christmas to myself as an only child and those times were the best. Once I got a sister, my parents have to split the funds for the both of us. So I decided to not want almost anything for Christmas this year, and let my sister get whatever she wants.
Later this week I checked up on Eventhubs and witnessed this post. I was shocked to see this chance of a lifetime. I play nothing but fighting games all the time, with the exception of a few other genres, and I currently use a MadCatz fightpad I got for my birthday a few months back. All my friends online have fightsticks and my local friends use PS3 instead of Xbox360. I'd do anything for this opportunity. So please Eventhubs, please Shadaloo, Let my kindness be rewarded this Christmas.

I'm an avid Capcoom/SNK/NAMCO fighting game player since Fighter Street on my Turbo Grafix 16. Yes they had to rename Street Fighter to Fighter Street to port it onto console, a loop-hole through some regulations back then. I've been using the original Hori Namco Stick I bought new from Target when it was released with Soul Blade for PSX. I've used this stick on my PS1, PS2 and a converter to use it on XBOX, Game Cube, Wii & PC. I now still use it for Tekken 6, SF4 & SSF4 however there is slight input lag using the converter to play on the PS3. I do not want to modify this stick as I am the original owner and want to keep it as it is as it's never failed on me. And I love the quality of the stick, unfortunately that quality has not translated well into the PS3/XBOX360 world without having to modify it.
A new custom stick from Shadaloo would allow me to dual mod it to work on XBOX360 & PS3 without the annoying input lag I have to play with now, plus your designs are clean and classy =D
First off, thank you for putting up a great contest and congratulations to the winner of this contest.
Why do I deserve the opportunity to win a custom arcade stick?
I believe I deserve this opportunity to win a custom arcade stick because I've been trying to get a arcade stick out in my area since Street Fighter IV was release to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. I'm a great Directional Pad player with Cammy White but I've seen so many great players using arcade sticks and that made me want one. After my first tournament by looking at so many arcade stick players, I didn't mind it at all and I went to go and buy one myself online at Amazon.com before Super Street Fighter IV release. I started to get the hang of it alittle but I barely used it since I was better with my Xbox controller and then my controller 2 months after my tournament and Season Beating V was coming and I didn't have a controller to use. So I just went with my arcade stick and everyone told me about custom sticks that was alot better than a Street Fighter Standard Edition arcade stick (Which I now have.) Now, I've been trying to keep up with all of my opponents but it's just too hard to work with a standard edition arcade stick and just to have a custom stick with the right feeling to it will hopefully improve my gameplay on Super Street Fighter IV. So please from the bottom of my heart, please give me a custom stick so I can play better than I am doing now.

I should win because I attempted to build my own custom stick, until I remembered what a huge mess my previous efforts at soldering had been. I'm a fairly avid shmupper, but I'm currently also an Engineering student which grants me precious little time to game, let alone build an arcade stick.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Hey, I think I should win because I really enjoy fighting gams, and because I'm only 12 years old, and I only have one parent living with me, no brothers or sisters. My mum can't afford one right now, but it would really make my day if I won, Please.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
You never really know what the criteria for a good "reason" are. Sometimes the one's who post page-filling essays win, sometimes the one's who come up with the most retarded reason you could possibly think of. That being said, I'll try it with: A Stick would be nice.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I think I should win because I'm married to Akuma and he never comes home.
It all started 8 years ago when we had our first son, Ryu, I think his name was. Akuma said he'd go out to a local wal-mart to get some toys and baby supplies but little did I know, it was the last day I'd see him. Surely enough, Akuma dropped the supplies at the front door and left without word, he did leave a note though, it read:
My dearest R4HU1,
I can no longer deal with the fact that Ryu constantly beats me on a PS3 controller. I'M USING AN HRAP3 AND HE'S DESTROYING MY DEMON. My attempts at landing a lk hurricane kick have all gone to waste...
We used to spar in the backyard and I slowly saw him get better than me...
Do you remember this day? The day you came out and watched us train, he threw me to the floor and probed me with his hadoukens... I tried and tried and tried to do a kara demon but no... worthless.
I know this may be a little bit too much for you to handle right now especially because Ryu ran off with Ken, flamboyantly.
Fear not, I've gone and killed my brother and accepted the dark hadou to make things better... (because that's what makes things better).
Shoonsh,
Akuma
8 years have passed, Akuma hasn't shown signs of coming back but word has it that he met Alex and Guile at the 3rd strike bar once and he bumped into some evil men (http://tinyurl.com/28zewdc) since then he's been trying to take them down but to no luck... I hope he returns one day.
Ryu, on the other hand, keeps in touch but he's no time for me as he's exploring his sexuality with Ken, not that there's anything wrong with that. But I just don't think Hadoukens and Shoryukens mix well, interracial couples haven't done well in our village.
And that's why I should win this contest.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I should win a new custom stick because I play Bison the LORD of Shadaloo since Champion Edition.
How can a world dictator, and a pure incarnation of evil, like Lord Bison can get to control the world's governments through his covert, Shadaloo ,crime syndicate WITHOUT a custom arcade stick? =)
ohhh gosh there are already so many posts... well i guess i'll try my luck.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I remember playing world warrior on the snes when i was a kid, like 5 years old or something, but I didn't know how to block or do anything besides mash hands with Honda. But I got back into SF4, which is amazing, and continue on to play SSF4.
I don't have much time to play during school (since I stay on residence), but whenever i get home on the weekend I try to get in a few matches. I've never played on a japanese arcade-type machine or arcade stick, since there's almost no arcades where I live, and my parents don't think playing video games is a good hobby. It's just so amazing to me watching high level play nowadays, because something like 2 years ago I had no idea how to play at all and didn't understand what was going on. I mean maybe I'll never get to that level, but slowly I know I can get better and have more fun along the way.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I can't state why I should win this. Nobody is more deserving of winning than anyone else. These sticks look fantastic. A dual mod stick would be awesome for multi-platform shmupping!
Hello, I am Spanish and encantaria to gain this prize for which here to where I live enla through part of españa it is difficult to obtain an Arcadian stick i sincerely with this one not me volveria to worrying in having to buy me one since they are too expensive i I do not have my work i tampocko my family is a lot of money, well thank you i to been a pleasure to be able to compete ^^
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
First I'd like to say that Duckmouth should totally be in the running. First to come up with a honorable reason and second poster. As for me, I'd like to win this fightstick to help put all the participants in my Street Fighter Night on equal ground. I have one, wireless, Hori fightstick and a Tournament Edition on the way. But I get lots of complaints from people who use the hori, and I'm sure those are going to increase once my "personal" TE gets here. Thank you for doing this and best of luck to everyone!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
That is such an awesome stick, never seen anything like it! Though eight buttons instead of six would be nice. So elegant, yet simple and gorgeous, all at the same time 83
I'd love to win this contest due to that I'm still training and my old stick is in really bad shape and almost unplayable. I also live in Finland and it's surprisingly hard to get a good stick here without insane prices on the shipping (stores had them when vanilla 4 came out, but now they are all gone). I'm not new to fighting games, but I'm new to trying to master them and getting more competitive. And I always try to get my friends more into the games as well. Sadly there isn't really any kind of tournaments that I know of here, and I'd like sometime to try and get a small community up here in Finland. I'm getting better, and a good stick that will hold much better than my old one would most likely greatly improve my skills, and hopefully my friend and I could get some small tourneys or something like that. And those sticks are gorgeous! It would be an honor to own one!
Help Finland to show up on the international Street Fighter scene!
That's my two cents in this competition! Good luck to everyone who enters! And congratulations to the winner :D

Help! My little brother has been abducted by some guy who has only identified himself as "The Meat Chief" and has demanded one Shadaloo.eu custom Dudley character themed arcade stick in exchange for his return. I need your help, though honestly, I fear it may be too late for his chasstity (intentional typo).
If somehow I manage to reacquire my brother, Sammy, before the stick arrives then I'll gladly sport the stick at any and every competition I go to. I'll make people want the thing like I do now.. which is only slightly below that of my want for Sammy's wellbeing.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I chose this stick because of the color combination,it oozes coolness with a reggae-vibe :).
I deserve to win the contest imo because I don't have a stick of my own but I've tried a TE-stick at a friend of mine and it was O_O *gulp*.
Compared to using a pad,it's like having too much control.
Y'know when you first use a stick you're amazed at how quick it responds without any effort and all.
So,having a personal stick which >> TE stick, it would make my friend jealous and hate me cuz I'm kicking his ass stylishly.
Besides,I'm a student with a breadcrumb income,a personal stick is kinda like having a ferrari.Yes a Toyota is nice and all but once you go ferrari..you'll know what you've been missing.
I'm sure a personal stick would improve my game, make people jealous of me and it'll be the only Art i'll have in my room.
I mean,we're SF-junks,A personalized stick is equal to having a Van Gogh.
But good luck to all,may the best SF-fan stickceed ;P.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I chose this stick because the blue makes for an incredible finish, Dudley rules, and us British chaps need to look out for eachother ;D
I would like to win this competition since I would absolutely love to represent with one of your custom sticks here in England, especially now we have monthly tournaments running in London! Since I'm huge into drawing as well as Street Fighter I have honestly recently sketched up some M.Bison drawings (since the Shadaloo boss himself is my main, I'm currently closing in on becoming the top ranked Bison in the UK on XBL), I was thinking about using them on a custom stick if I ever got time and money to make one, but it'd be amazing if I could send them over to you guys and see what you came up with!
Anyway, good luck to everybody entering!

WATEVER THE DEAL IS, I NEED THIS STICK! ITS FREAKIN COOL!
LOVE THE DESINGS!THUS I NEED THIS STICK!
I'VE ALWAYS LOVE PLAYING FIGHTING GAMES, EVER SINCE MY SCHOOL DAYS PLAYING KOF2001 IN THE ARCADES FOR COUNTLESS HOURS AND COUNTLESS TOKENS TOO. BUT IM NEVER THAT GOOD IN THEM BUT I WILL CONTINUOUSLY KEEP ON PLAYING TILL MY HANDS GETS NUMB...then i will cooldown wif a ciggie or 2 for awhile... THEN IM BACK AGAIN PLAYING TILL THE NEXT TIME I NEED A CIGGIE. I CURRENTLY PLAY ALL AVAILABLE FIGHTING GAMES ON MY PS3 (SSFIV,BBCS, TEKKEN6 AND EVEN KOF XII, AND NOT SOULCALIBUR AND VIRTUAL FIGHTER UNFORTUNATELY) AND STILL GETTIN THRASHED IN THEM BUT I WILL NEVER GIVE UP!
THUS I NEED THIS STICK TO SUCCEED MORE IN LIFE FIGHTING LIFE! LOW-TIER FOREVER!
OH YEA, DID I MENTION I NEED THIS STICK?
WELL IF I DIDNT....I NEED THIS STICK..REALLY BAD!

Roses Are Red Violets Are Blue This joystick is Beautiful just like Shadaloo :( jk..
Truthfully When I go to tournaments they call me dudley because thats who I use and im damn good with him and If I were to get this stick it a make everything perfect no more borrowing joysticks or using my broke-down ps3 controller. I will greatly appreciate it. And I will use for every fighting game I get from here on out including MvC3 when it comes out next year!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I would like to win this joystick because, I have been playing street fighter for a pretty long time about 3 years i am not 15, when i saw the match Daigo vs Justin wont in the EVO 04 in STREET FIGHTER 3 Third strick, watching him parry every move that Justin Wong threw at him, That single handedly inspired me to play like one of the PROS for example diago and justin wong. I've heard that it is so much better to play with a fight stick. i've always wanted one but i could never afford one. I am very dedicated to this game i practice everyday trying to get better AND BETTER at the game. I dont enter any tournaments or anything, i play with friends and go on xbox live. Some people at school say i have no life, people can think that but I call it a HOBBY.
Well this is about it, this is all i have to say winning this Fight Stick will be Greatly appreciated i would cherish it all my life, maybe one day i might give it to my daughter or Son. If I get the email about winning the stick i will be so excited and happy ill be like "HOLY SHOOT YESYESYESYESYES I LOVE YOU EVENTHUBS FOR HOLDING THIS CONTEST".... =]
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Im an Akuma player from Vegas. I attend tournaments and the like around the city when I can, though when I do, I always gotta borrow a stick from someone else. Its an uncomfortable but grateful feeling, though Iv wished and tried to get one for my own for a long time. At the tournaments I do decent, though not being able to practice at home I feel brings down my game a lot. I watch shadaloo videos or other combo videos online, but never get the chance to spend time doing them. With a stick I could become a lot more than I am now, even enter EVO online next month. Really more than anything Id love to be able to play SSF4 in my own home, making myself a better player, and a fightstick that I cant afford, would give me the chance to be the player I want to be. Thanks for the opportunity.

I guess first i have to say... Post #200th! ^^
Well, there are a lot of reasons of why i should win one of the Sticks, I don't have the opportunity of buying one of this Sticks, because nobody even have one here in my country.
I'm a huge fan of Street Fighter, I play like 48 hours daily Super Street Fighter IV, I'm like always playing Street Fighter and looking for opportunities like this one, and is the first time I am in time to post and try to win, so I'm very excited!.
I believe, everybody here, must "defeat Sheng Long to stand a chance", and "I'm not a beginner I'm a warrior!". Some players says "Handsome fighters never lose battles", but I think "seeing them in action is a joke", but anyway sometimes im loosing so badly that my opponent is like "My strength is much greater than yours!" but I say to myself "Get up!! It's too early for you to be defeated!", and I just go on like saying "Attack me if you dare, I will crush you!" and I guess that's the point of playing Games, we should play it for fun, why would you be frustated because you are not winning?? If you win or even if you lose, you should say something like "Thank you for a gorgeous time!", I love playing Street Fighter, and I even love more playing SF when I play with guys that plays just for fun, just like me, of course I would love to go to a big tournament and try to win, but in the end, I'm playing to have fun, and I'm playing to meet other fans like me too!.
I hope i win one of the Arcade Stick, but if i dont, I guess i will just "Go Home and be a Family Man", right??
Thanks you very much if you did read the whole post, because I really prepared it a lot...
So, that would be my reason! Thaaanks, and See ya! ^^

I love the sticks.
I always want a stick to work with PS, xbox, and PC; but I'm bad at modding one.
If I win, I can have a stick _exactly_ how I want it. That's awesome.
*** I main in Bison. Bison owns Shadaloo. Having a Shadaloo stick can up my psycho power. ***

I chose this stick because it's stylish yet minimalistic. I think I should win the stick so I have an extra one available for when my little cousins drop by.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I should win so I can get off the keyboard.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
29 years old SFIV player from East Europe here.
Next to my wife and daughter i can't afford to give half of my paycheck for quality arcade stick like these.
If you pick me, you will make one "old" gamer very happy.
Cheers
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Reason is simple, I'd like to give it as a gift to a friend.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
The reason I want the stick is because my nephew is now starting to learn to play fighting games such as Street Fighter, and with his favorite super heroes now being added into a fighting game (Iron Man, Hulk, Spider Man) that is recent. Now his father (my brother) is my favorite opponent in fighting games, and he is currently in England. I want to train my nephew to better at fighting games then his father while he is out. And when he comes home from England, I want my nephew to be able to whoop his daddies butt in our favorite fighting game series. And to be honest, I would like to introduce my nephew to fighting games the proper way! :)
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I think I should win because I'm a HUGE street fighter fan and always have been since my mam bought me my snes when I was 3. I main Adon and to have the Adon Fightstick would just make playing as Adon even more awesome! I would love to hopefully enter tournaments some day if the English tournament scene picks up!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I should win cuz I'm a BEAST!!!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
.....ive thought of many reasons as to why i should win this win but i just want to be stright and honest because i have a feeling adding extra stuff to this wont do anything i think i should win because well i just re-joined the sf community nd i just cant put the game down i love sf with a great passion nd i want to keep playin and figting better people but to do this i really need a fight stick to improve my game and go pro..so i think it would be really helpful and cool if you guys at eventhubs.com and shadaloo.eu would pick me so i can achieve this goal and even if i dont win i still wanna thank you for giving a chance to partisipate in this contest
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Love how bright and shiny it is! FLAMES FTW! SHORYUKEN!
However i wont give you a sob story. I just want to win as i think that custom joystick kicks ass and i would would be damn proud to represent at a tournament with a beautiful sexy custom stick like that!
Been playing Blanka since vanilla and after the the Arcade Edition nerfs been practising up my Guile.
I wanna kick ass and chew bubblegum! Me, Guile, and my custom stick. We are gonna practise hard brothers! Like Hulk Hogan said man i am gonna say my prayers, and eat my vitamins.
WHATCHA GONNA DO BROTHER WHEN BLACK SAGATS SONIC HURRICANE RUNS WILD ON YOU BROTHER! WOOOO!
PS: I promise i wont let Gootecks anywhere near my stick XXX

Hello Shadaloo and Eventhubs,
First off I just wanted to thank you guys for taking the time to read our responses and also holding this contest.
I am currently going to school and I have to pay my way through because school is not cheap!! But I have been a big fan of street fighter 2. I used to play it when I was a kid with my uncle. As I grew older I never strayed from the fighting scene of video games. So I've been an active street fighter throughout the years. I have wanted an arcade stick but I really cannot go out of the way and get a $150 round 2 stick from Madcatz. That is out of my price range. I have wanted to pick up an arcade stick but have never been able to because of the prices of the sticks. I considered the Hori ex2 because it is a cheap stick and even thought it is around the price of an Xbox 360 controller it would not be wise, for my situation, to buy an arcade stick when I already have regular controllers.
I will be very thankful if you consider me a final contestant.
Thank you for reading,
Buranka

I think i should win This stick because it Represents who i am as s SF player 100%.. All the charectars on the Stick are in black and white Except for RYU! "The Meaning of the artwork holds more value to me then life" Only 1 person should and will be played on that stick and that is RYU.. it's perfect for me Cause all i do is play as Ryu on any Street fighter game From Sf Hf, to SSF2T and all tha way UP to SSF4.. In ranked match to endless lobbies all i use is RYU.. I'm not even a Seth player but that design is amazing.
I think I deserve the stick because my cheap $30 madcatz stick is dying.I'm 16 years old and I started playing street fighter late august this year, I couldn't believe how much I fell in love with Super Street fighter 4. Although I may not have the sheer experience other people do, in 3 months I have gotten better than most of the people I made friends with on the game, and they've been playing since vanilla. Give me a shot Shadaloo and eventhubs, you will be fueling the fire for the next generation of gamers and street fighters.(not to mention I'll tell all of my friends about your awesome products) I deserve the stick and I'm damn sure I'll treat the stick right.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
i love the paint job and like the clean nis of it.
Puur arcade stick style. . Love it.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I think i should win This stick because i am from a African country ,I worked for 3 months to buy my xbox(Summer 2009), because the minimum wage in my country is one-half the price of an Xbox 360, and I took that only to play SSFIV .
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I should win because I will put the stick to good use:
- I will never turtle with it
- I will never rage quit with it
- I will play Darkstalkers on it
- I will never send mean messages when I win because of it
- I will never bragg about it and make others feel bad because they don't have it (mmmm, I can't promise this one)
- I will share the wonders of playing on a stick throughout my humble, stickless, country and use it to lead the Tekken-addicted, 2D-ignorant masses to a new age!
Thank you.
http://www.eventhubs.com/images/2010/...
The dudley stick looks amazing first off. I think I deserve a stick because I lent all my money to my parents who needed it and the rest of my money is going off to by gifts for . friends or family. Dont really have anything to get myself this christmas and a new joystick to replace my old ragged 360 controllers from breaking would be amazing. Thank you and have a hapy holiday
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
This stick is awesome; many characters, nice design, and the buttons matching the design are pretty sick.
My friend, rovezero, and I are up and coming streetfighters in the NY area and are trying to improve the sf community in both long island and east coast area. So far, we have participated in a few tournaments as well as helping organize tournaments. Also, We're in the midst of developing a youtube series of some sort and we have a pretty sick name already. Because we're not pro yet, it'd be interesting to see how our goofy asses evolve from the inevitable ass beatings we will receive. I'm a B+ ken player but now main ibuki, and rovezero can't choose a main but is decent with half the cast.
This fightstick would be an amazing asset to the show.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
This stick looks beautiful. I believe I should be given the opportunity to win this due to the fact that I am a newcomer to street fighter looking to improve my game but also to represent my community. I have recently looked into the Toronto Street Fighter community and have been pleasantly surprised by it's relative strength and size. This stick would help me become a formidable opponent and allow Shadaloo to show off it's unique sticks to a community in Canada.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
reason why I should win is because my wife just spent all my money buying presents for everyone else except me for christmas. I think I deserve something for my good deeds :)
woops, reason why the STICK should win..lol. lets redo that shall we.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I like the overall white feels but with the beutiful graphics, they also went the extra step and intergrated the design onto the buttons also, which is a huge step above most. It has a lot going on, but it definetly isn't overwhelming.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I'm not going to lie, I don't know if I really deserve the stick over other people. I'm a semi-serious player, and I've been to 6 Street Fighter tournaments in the two-and-a-half years I've been playing S/SF4. I used to play on a PS3 pad, but I've since converted to stick play. My biggest problem is, not knowing that much about sticks, mine has been giving me trouble to no end. I don't feel I've been particularly harsh on it, but I guess the results speak for themselves. If I got this stick, I'd take care of it as well as I could and take it to tournaments to play against top players. I'm going to Evo next year, for the first time, and I'd really not like to bring my buggy stick(or even my pad) with me. I'd like to win. Or, at the very least, lose without having to grumble about my stick.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
i think that winning this stick will up my game significantly, id be able to go to tourneys and get involved in the community, since tournaments here requiere xbox controllers and a dualmod one would be a blessing, anyways, i dont have nothing particular to say its just a normal guy on internet trying to get tools to become a better player nothing more.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Hi, first of all my english isn't very good, i've been following eventhubs since i got my first used copy of SF4 and i've been playing since a lot after, i think SF is the best fighting game and every time i play it feels diferent, it's not the same so i never get boring of play SF.
I also have been following great players like Daigo, Momochi , justin wong, and Flash Metroid (his makoto is AWESOME!!) and i would like to take on one of them someday even if they kick my ass pretty hard XD!.
Anyway, it would be great to win a fightstick to play online and get into a real tournament.
Oh, and i main makoto, if someone wants to play mi GT is "Gast Survivor". =)
Gracias y Makoto es la Mejor!!!
Simply put, I bought SFIV and SSFIV on release and have played both exclusively on the Xbox 360 D-pad,much to the chagrin of my hands and mental capacity. Reason being, I cannot afford a stick. My Christmas/Birthday budget doesn't go that high and I have no means of income; freelance journalism doesn't pay as much as it used to, and it's been very hard to come by opportunities for an in-house job in the field. As it stands I'm barely making rent. I have completed 100% of the SSFIV Trials on the Xbox Dpad, and am just about to complete Arcade Mode on hardest with everyone too. I think above all, being given a stick for all this exceptionally hard work would be nice as I'd simply have a physical reward to show for it, but also obviously I'd like to compete at tournament level someday.
Here's the stick I'd very much appreciate: http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Thanks,
Laurie.

Quite frankly, I know some people may come up with lame excuses and I'm no special case from like the jungles of South Africa but, honestly speaking, winning a stick would be greatly appreciated in my favor and I'll tell you why:
-I have an Xbox 360 and have unfortunately not been able to enjoy my SSF4 due to my stick being at a wack. I cannot take it to competitions for fear it would screw me over while playing. My buttons jam and the stick is not completely responsive. I got it off amazon used and it was fine but, as of right now, it is not really the best to play at all and though I KNOW I can play with a 360 controller but, I refuse to play with it for two reasons: It does not feel authentic and I am WAY too competitive to lose over garbage when the playing field is not level while the match is controller v. stick =(. I don't wanna seem like a sob case and I know that I dont have the most DIRE situation out there but please hear me out is all I ask. I would, again, very much appreciate this stick since I have no local areas or friends who are willing to fix mine or rather find out the underlying issue with it. Plus this would be a great gift in preparation for MVC3:FTW which I have already pre-ordered at Gamestop. Thx for your time and now I shall just wait for your results. =)

I think i deserve this fight stick because I don't have one and I still suck at this game because using a pad is a little hard to perform some links.

because You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours.

Honestly good chaps, i like to keep it classy. To maintain such standards a Gentleman such as i requires nothing but the best and therefor i deserve to win the best. I'm sure you'll all agree.

Because in order to represent Studley, I need a stick that is manly enough.

To do hard trials in Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV and any other sequels.

Hello, this one looks absolutely gorgeous
I have been playing street fighter since I was a kid but I couldn't buy an arcade stick since they are not being sold in my country and as an university student buying one through Ebay/Amazon is extremely expensive due to the shipment and taxes that come along with. I would love to have that stick which I would use for the rest of my life.

Wow, just saw this and i had to enter.
Where do i start... I had no particular interest in this gen of gaming apart from of a few titles which i could play over at a friends house, but i felt no compulsion to buy a ps3/xbox360.
That all changed on October 17 2007 when the first trailer for SF4 was released. Man i was hyped all day and probably saw the trailer at least 20 times. this one.....
http://www.gametrailers.com/video/deb...
I had already had a SRK/Capcomunity account so i jumped right in looking for any new piece of info i could find.
Back then eventhubs wasnt as big as it is now....(good place for 3S info though)
so the usual updates came from yurinkas website.(also the guy who correctly predicted seths design 2 weeks b4 he was released)
..where the first egm scans were posted.(after the original leak)
then the weekly Tuesday and Friday blog updates started... i would wake early in the morning just for those.
which led to famitsu reports, loketests, events ,so i kept searching Japanese 2ch forums, nico video, youtube looking for new info.
Needless to say i became a fanatic and knew almost every detail of the game.(thread speaks for itself).
http://www.capcom-unity.com/street_fi...
I also had some great times on srk/capcomunity watching live streams.
Anyways i don't wanna make this too big, but i really wish that i could win this contest because i really cant afford a stick right now and I've never owned one either.lol i only have 2 games for my ps3 guess what they are?! ;)

Why should I get this stick? I'm not gonna lie-being only 15 years of age, I wasn't really bought into the Street Fighter hype, and so didn't play the SF franchise nearly as much as some of you guys on Eventhubs. I haven't been looking round every day to find a Fightstick because I always thought that the Dualshock 3 controller I use would be good enough for me.
The stick isn't the main reason why I would want this stick (if that makes any sense at all). The main reasons I would like to obtain this fightstick is due to the fantastic art on the stick itself and the way it, I personally think, represents myself.
Being a GCSE Art student, and rather passionate about it, I love the work that's been put into it. Obviously the drawing itself-I recently tried the Art Contest for Marvel vs Capcom 3-but also the actual innards of the stick is, I find particularly, strangely beautiful and clean to look at.
Regarding representation, the way I play Super Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is also shown on this stick-unlike a majority of players, I dislike playing a single character or a 'main'. I play around 20 characters on SSFIV and around 7 on SSFIITHDR, and the array of characters on this stick (of whom I all play other than Cammy because I really cannot play Cammy) show the way I play. Being a techie who loves to play his gaes (particularly fighting games) I like the idea of having a stick, not only to play video games, but as a showcase and as a respresentation of who I am and what I do in my spare time.
So yeah, basically I want this stick to look at it and hit things. Thanks for reading!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I have a wife and a mortgage, so life does not allow me to spending crazy money on my video gaming like it used to. I LOVE fighting games and would love to remind my wife how dorky I actually am.
This is a great site and is the main reason I am back full force into the fighting community. So thank you for everything.
Also, with that Dudley stick I'll always fight like a gentleman and never be gutter trash.

Just an awesome arcade stick! *points up*
Reason I think I should win? My birthday is December 4th, so this would be an awesome birthday present for me and it goes hand in hand with the upcoming Christmas. I've been trying to get another arcade stick because my TE is starting to show its wear and tear. But being broke, having no job, and parents/family/friends wouldn't buy me one... I try to find alternate solutions around it. In all honesty though, only reason I want to win this is just to be able to compete better since I prefer an arcade stick over a pad after grinding it out on my TE stick. I plan on hitting up some tournaments next year like SCR, NCR, and (maybe) Evo. So getting this stick would be amazing and beneficial to me.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Well the reason I should win these fight stick is that I never had one before and I cant really afford one because they are so expensive and it would be so nice if i got it, and it would be more comfortable to play fighting games with a stick than a gamepad.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
The reason why I should win one of these is that my friend really wants his very own stick but can't afford one, so he's been using my friend's Hori Tekken stick that game out with the release of the collector's edition of Tekken 6. The stick is ass, so if I win this contest I will give away my current TE round 2 to him and use one of these bad boys. Maybe if I'm feeling super generous I will give the won stick to him and keep my own stick, but I don't know. I'm just being real with y'all! Lemme win please!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
The reason I want this stick is so I can give it to my friend for Christmas or something. Reason being is because I have a TE stick already but he's stuck on pad all the time. And only reason he won't switch over to a stick is because of money which is tight for him. So giving him this stick will allow us to realize our full Street Fighter potential!
That and he's just a really good friend. There's not many Street Fighter players on campus so we play A LOT together. It's always a blast and I feel like him having a stick would add to the experience.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I should defiantly win this contest for many many reasons. I for one, LOVE fighting games I have played since i was a little kid from street fighter to guilty gear to tekken, to melty blood, to mortal kombat, to dead or alive, if its fighting you name it i'v played it. The one problem is that i never learned to pick up a joystick. I have always wanted to but always lacked the funds to do so with college and other expenses. Im always going to arcades trying to learn there but I can't seem to get it down i would like one at home to use all the time. I try to enter tournaments too and i see everyone bringing their own sticks and i just come with a controller, i wish i had a stick to use like everyone else. I deserve it more than anyone because I play fighting games A LOT, and I would make the best use of it. Fighting games are a dying breed, and the word must be spread, if all my friends saw how fun it was to play fighting games especially with a stick maybe they would buy more or go to the arcade more,to me street fighter is more than just a game, its a great hobby and having a stick would only increase its fun/learning experience. Learning to play stick would be a great new experience im still learning the game everyday and with a stick it would be a whole new, epic experience. Thanks eventhubs Choose my post

Hello,
I'm a college student here in SoCal, and have been playing Street Fighter games on consoles since a kid. I began to get competitive when Street Fighter 4 came out. However, due to time/money constraints, I've only been participating on xbox live, and participated in very few local tournaments. So far, I've been playing on the xbox controller, and a few months in, it became evident that it would hinder me. I had to drop my main back in SF4 (Cammy) because I TKCSs were either impossible to do or inconsistent. The reason I don't have a stick has been the lack of money, I haven't been able to afford one. I chose this stick because I've always been a big Calvin and Hobbes fan, but realistically, I would take any stick that you could give me. Thanks for your time.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
The design on this stick is absolutely AMAZING. I need to have it. It's such an awesome throwback to those old handheld lcd games, and Game&Watch.
Additionally, the fact that you guys can make a stick that plays on multiple systems will enable me to play my best friend in NY, who has it on the ps3 (I'm using an Xbox)
It would be incredible to bring a custom stick like this to tournaments in Socal. Please let me have this!!

Dear Eventhubs and Shadaloo,
Lately I have taken a much greater interest into Street Fighter (SSF4 specifically). I first played SF2 when I was a kid, Dhalsim was my favorite since I couldn't do special moves but stretching was like a special move. Now I have picked up SSF4 after having gotten back into it with vanilla. Playing on an Xbox 360 controller is good, but I can't really make the switch to the pad. This makes all of my inputs sloppy, but I am able to get things to work. However, I feel that using a real stick would let me step my game up, but being in college most of my extra funds go into food, which makes the price tag a little out of reach. I hope you pick me, but congratulations to whomever you do choose.

I should win cause..
I wanna be the very best!..
Like no one ever was..
To have a stick is my real test..
To train with it is my cause..
I would travel across the land..
Searching far and wide for one..
Teach teach u all to understand..
The power that i desire..
Fightstick!
Gotta win this please! :(
It's you and me(stick)..
I know it's my destiny..
Fightstick!
thats my reason i really want one T_T.. dream come true

I should win because I am the ORIGINAL Daigo RIDER!!!!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I would Like to win this stick because it Would be one of the most awesome Christmas gifts anyone would ever receive, My Cousin got me into fighting games & i would like to show my Appreciation to him by giving him a stick with his favorite street fighter character on it, Yea Ryu is a Bit generic But he is a fan favorite so what else can i say. & it would be nice to have such a thing to gift someone because its really hard to get money these days & this stick would be perfect.
I would like to make this post longer & rant about how much he deserves this stick IMO but I'm not a person of many words.
Thank you for taking the time out to read this message

I would like to win a new stick because I am moving to Quebec City for work in January. I have never lived outside of Los Angeles, and I am going to have a transition time with no friends and nothing to do! SSF4 will have to be my best friend until I make new ones, and I can't imagine what might make me feel better when I get the homesick blues than greeting my online opponents with a shiny new fightstick!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I've been a Street Fighter fan for over 18 years. Street Fighter will always be associated with the best parts of my childhood. Unfortunately, I have never been able to afford a high quality arcade stick. Being a broke university student has once again disallowed me from having the sufficient funds for a fight stick. As the fighting game genre has once again become incredibly popular, the quality and popularity of high-end peripherals has been nothing short of amazing. In short, there is no real reason as to why I should win a new stick but if it were to happen, my love of Street Fighter would only increase. Thanks for your time.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
'cause I have friends and family members that come over often and we always end up playing one fighting game or another, and someone is always stuck using a pad. And my little sister is interested in learning how to play SSFIV, but she wants to do so with her own stick.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I think I deserve to win to continue playing various Street Fighter games, so I can share my new found stick with friends and competitors, and because I like Adon.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Hi, I honestly don't think I deserve this, but it would be nice to practice at home instead of going over to my friends house to use his SE stick. He's been teaching me how to properly play SSF4 lately, and the pad just doesn't cut it anymore. So If I did win, I would be really grateful.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I would like to win this contest because I enjoy playing Street Fighter just as much as winning. The game is an art JUST as much as the joystick is an art of its own, especially how it is crafted, hand built and ordered to exact specifications. I mean, who doesn't find pride and joy in showing off their one of a kind joystick? The custom Ryu Joystick is much more awesome than the current TE edition sticks out there. It looks glossier, more solidly built and I bet it is heavier. The joystick should complement the player as should fit well. I would be so excited to win but better yet to play out the new custom stick!!! I love street fighter!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
When I was a little child, I used to play fighting games all the time with my brother. Tekken, street fighter, soul calibur, smash bros, the works. And, much to the shame of my older brother, I would always win, I would jeer him for it. "You lost to me again! Ha ha! Just who's the younger brother here?" How foolish I was, incurring my brothers wrath.
After another round of Tekken 4, after I had juggled him like a clown at the circus, after my taunts, he looked at me straight in the eye and said "I will defeat you, no matter the cost. No matter how long it will take, no matter how many years of training, I will beat you." He left the house that day.
12 years later, I heard a knock at my door. I opened the door, and who was at it? None other than my brother! After all these years my brother had returned! I had forgotten about his personal vendetta. The first words that poured from his mouth, spelled only words that brought back many forgotten Sunday mornings. "Super Street Fighter 4. Now." I knew his purpose then, to enact revenge. He took out his weapon, a custom made fight stick from a distributor I had never seen before and I only armed with a regular xbox 360 controller. Then the game began, I as Guy, him as Rufus. It was a curbstomb battle. He had complete control over everything, his execution was perfect, his plinking was perfect, his timing was perfect. He was a street fighter god.
After the match was over, I looked at my god for a brother, astonished. However, his face spelled sorrow and regret. "Why do you look sad?" I asked. "You have gotten what you wanted. You should be taunting me as I taunted you." His tone was long and dreadful. "Because I have paid the ultimate sacrifice. My soul." He told me of his journey to the Appalachian Mountains where he met a demon. He sold his soul, for victory, and the only way to get it back, is for the demon to be defeated at a game of super street fighter 4. However, the stick my brother has is bound to him and him only, so I need a stick capable of defeating this monster. Help me slay the demon, help me save my brother.
PS: this is entirely true, im not lying. just ask my brother, or my dad, he works for street fighter.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Stick is broken in a ridiculous way. For some reason, buttons will register even when only the joystick is touched.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I've always wanted to step up my game (especially with Gen), but I've never been able to afford a stick. I've been playing pad all my life, but with a stick I could finally start to get skilled enough to enter tournaments and compete, and I'd love that. I really hope I can get a stick so maybe we could see another player competing out there.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I'd like to win one of these gorgeous fightsticks so I can actually improve my game ... I'm currently a pad player and I feel stuck in a rut with my progress ... This could be what helps ...
Thanks ...
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
My reason starts in New York City, china town fair. I have been playing games ever since I held a Nintendo remote. My genre of choice is vs games. It was in MvC2 that I picked up a major interest. My friends invited me to go and watch people play by the name of Justin Wong, and Sanford and a few others I can’t recall at the time. I trained and played. I was never at that level but when street fighter came out I was on top of my game in my group of friends and online when super street fighter 4 came out I played non-stop with hakan till I was on top in north America on the psn network that is not saying much when had roughly around 9000 BP but I can actually say that I was 8th in the world with Hakan, yet this is still not why I should win. This was before I had a job that consumed a lot of my time. I started studying frame data and upping my combos with my fav third strike character DUDELY! The gentlemen pugilist! I never thought I can take him so far and then I witnessed it online….EG Marn beat Daigo, with DUDELY and I noticed that those combo I written on paper work very well but I can’t do them on d-pad so I bought a hori fight stick and I knew I can take it far the moment I kept it CLASSY!. Currently my brother and I are making a team called “team Nobleman” and we want to travel to tournaments near us and work hard and I know with this Dudley fight stick I will not stop till I play in evo or another major tournament once arcade edition comes out and every one needs to relearn stuff. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for listening to my reasoning.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
^__mmmm need some of this hot stuff.
Why should I win? Simple, if you give me this stick I will film myself eating a live fish. I will also have intercourse with whatever you tell me to have intercourse with.
That's right, I will personally prostitute myself for the love of fighting games.
That is all.
Gotta love the Calvin and Hobbes stick:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
My reason for wanting the stick is pretty simple. I've loved Street Fighter my whole life, but none of the other games have grabbed me as hard as SFIV and SSFIV. I'm inspired daily by players like Mike Ross who have committed their lives to studying the game and perfecting their own play styles.
Unfortunately, paying my way through school doesn't leave that much extra cash to invest in a fightstick. One of my loftier goals in life is to improve my skills in the fighting game scene so that I can compete at a higher level. I've hit a wall that I can't bypass with just a controller alone, and the fightstick would be an amazing stepping stone on my way to fulfilling my dreams.
Thanks for this opportunity. I hope I can win one of your beautiful fightsticks!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
This Seth stick is so cool. Ff i win this contest i would cherish the stick tool of ass kicking. I play on d-pad and i been meaning to get a stick but i cannot afford it because i cannot get a job and I am a full time college student. I will learn use this stick to defeat any challengers that come my way
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
One of my few early memories of Street Fighter was Super Street fighter II back in 1994. Mind you, I hadn't played it, but I was reading a video game magazine when it had mentioned the game. I heard about Street Fighter, but never actually played it up to this point. The only part of that article I remember was when they introduced T-Hawk and Fei-Long. I had heard about the original SFII but I was amazed at this idea of an "expansion" of the same game. I had hard time understanding this concept... not sure why.
Anyways, to cut the nostalgia short, I would have never thought I'd be playing or even witness, "Street Fighter FOUR". It seems to have grown up with me. and the fact that the series was born on the same year as me makes it a little more special.
In a nutshell, I really want to win a custom-made fightstick because the story I just told you above reminded me of how much I hated my friend for kicking my ass with his Blanka and dictator back in the SFII turbo days. Screw him and his charge characters. All he did was spam blanka balls and psycho crushers, and he laughed hysterically while doing it.
Me winning this fightstick would be a symbol of my growth as a SF player and how long I've come since the days of JUMP FIERCE ALL DAY ALL NIGHT RINSE REPEAT HERPADERP
Thank you for reading.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
For me growing up I played street fighter 2. it was my first fighting game that I ever played. I remember my uncle trying to teach me to play as guile. it was fun learn how to play this character. but around the same age that I started to play street fighter 2 I was busting reading Calvin and Hobbes. I enjoy those two and their adventures. it kind of reminds me of Gootecks and Mike Ross and their adventures. which I enjoy to watch. It would be great to own one of these sticks that someone put their hard work into it and it would be a pleasure to use it in a tournament
I think i should win 'cause I want it , it's that simple.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
Those sticks are damn nice!
If I should win, I'd like this one: http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
So, and now WHY I should win?! ... The answer lies in the heart of battle!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
The reason is pretty simple. I wish to get a stick for my girlfriend who has gotten an interest to the game after she has seen me play day after day. So instead of pushing her to start with a pad like I personally did, it would be nice to get her on the right path from the start.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
The reason I should win is so I can turn around dragon punch the clown behind me playing the smallest violin in the world for me.
Hey Catalyst. I've decided to try and go for it, though I don't expect to win, but I might as well enter to get some excitement in my life. :D
Anyway, I'm unsure of what exactly the award is supposed to be, because it says "Post a comment here on this story on EventHubs.com with a link to your favorite stick from the Shadaloo.eu Flickr page",
but down below it says: "The stick can cost up to 250 Euros ($342 USD). It has to be built with the steps provided in the configurator on Shadaloo.eu."
- I hope that I can create a custom stick, but I'll link to the stick I like the most from the selection nevertheless. =D
From the selection: http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I like this one the most out of the ones Shadaloo's got because of its dark colors, but also because its buttons are transparent which I LOVE. Don't really care much for Ryu, but I love the design!
My reason for wanting to get one probably sounds very stupid, but I would really like to get a 360 and be able to play with people there - but I can't really afford both a 360 and a stick, as well as monthly subscription - plus this year's Christmas will cost me more than it will give me, and I have no job!- I currently own a PS3, but it's hard to meet people online (online as in on websites, not as in PSN) who have a PS3 like me. We don't have much of a scene in my country, although there still are some players here (I think only 10 of them have a PS though). As a result, I would like to be able to get a stick for a 360 and beat up players there. :D
Not to mention that I just love the idea of having a custom stick; not because it's unique or anything, but because I get to choose it. When looking at those sticks it makes me feel like I've bought a piece of electronic that everyone owns and nobody cares about.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
is my favorite stick.
I think that I should win this stick because I really want an Xbox stick and my PS3 first edition TE is grimey and worn to death. I'm in college and can't afford to buy a new stick, and would really like to be able to play on Xbox consoles since most of my friends play on Xbox, and a lot of tournaments run Xbox setups.
Thanks for the opportunity!
This is my favorite stick! I love Dudley
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I think I should win because my damn thumbs are killing me from my Controller. I've also been playing Street Fighter since I was a kid and love the series.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I should win because my drive, love and determination for SSF4 (and I can't wait for MvC3) is huge and I want to compete at a professional level.I know I'm good and with a fight stick I'll be great my game would improve 10 times over.I will actually be competing at EVO Online with a controller through my friend's XBOX (I have never owned a fight stick or a 360,I have a PS3) and I'm confident that I can win it.I go to college and have no job so when I'm not studying I'm teaching fools around the world how I promptly command respect 1 Ultra at a time so please consider me I assure you that I will be winning tournaments on a live stream someday very soon and this fight stick can and will make that happen. Thanks for your time
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I should win because I shall master the arts of Vega, Sagat, Balrog, and M Bison in true PSYKO POWA Shadaloo organization spirit. Also to play other and harder games with (like MvC2 and hit confirming in 3rd strike). And just to have to play non-fighting games with. And to loan out to people who want to use it for whatever.
Also, the stick looks pretty cool, it's like Seth the snowman/reindeer.
And cause here are some SF jokes
What's Deejay's favorite enemy?
GOOMBA
What does Ryu say when you ask him for his autograph?
SURE YOU CAN
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I think i should receive an arcade stick made by Shadaloo.eu because i never see a custom stick made with custom artwork.
I feel that the image on anything you have, whether it is a jacket or bag, is an expression of oneself. You buy whatever you want to express yourself through that particler article. Same thing goes with arcade sticks. The only difference being that not all people are artists, so they're forced to use another's artwork. And there's nothing wrong with that. However, as an artist, i feel i need a stick as unique as myself. I a female in this prominently male atmosphere so its easy for one to say i stand out. It's true, i do, so what better reason to have a custom stick in which we can collaborate on in the design process?
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I'm relatively new to fighting games and have been casually playing SFIV (vanilla and super) for about almost a year now. I aim to improve my game and a fightstick would be the best way to do so. However proper sticks are too expensive these days so it would be awesome if I could win one, especially if it has been custom designed by Shadaloo.eu, who have made some great stick designs in the past
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I should win this arcade stick because I love to play fighting games. but sadly, because i just finished high school and i don't have a job yet, I cannot afford to buy my own. right now I am stuck with a Xbox360 pad, and often lose because of an execution error. with this arcade stick i will be able to use Cammy's instant cannon strike without jumping backwards and catching a upper cut to the face.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
MUAHAHAHAHA!HAHAHAH!OHOHOH! THIS IS DELICIOUS! I WANT IT!!! YEEEESSSS YEEEEESSSSS !!!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
an arcade stick is a representation of the owner. he/she decides how it looks, but the stick itself decides how the user plays.
the part I'm missing on flickr, is the face next to the custom-made boxes. what person is identified by the stick?
a photograph of the winner (and his/her precious prize) will probably be put on the site, so it better be a state of art :)
aye, there are two ways to sell a unique product like this: 1) a world class (well known) player, 2) a hot chick (in random order)
well, i'm neither of both, however people have a soft-spot for the anti-hero and I still need a reason to win this stick, right?
look at me: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid...
always when I play BOB (and I always play BOB:)) in Tekken 6, everybody thinks his character is based on me
therefore it's time that I own an arcade stick with his picture on it, so I can prove that the stick is
not only a representation of the owner, but also from the game-character that it plays with!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I've always had an interest in fighting games but it revived recently thanks to the SF4 release for PC (no consoles in our household) so I actually thought up of finally getting a fighting stick this year. Since this is Eastern Europe where I live in, I've been saving up for quite some time so I can manage to get one for myself for Christmas. But since mom got sick and the doctors aren't cheap I realise we may have no presents for Christmas this year so I'm gonna use my saved money to buy my little brother something nice. He's a good kid. I'm sorry if I sound selfish and I'm sure there are people in worse trouble than I am but this frustrates me to no end and I guess this also works as a way to lighten my heart.
Not going to lie, I had a hard time picking a favorite (you monsters, props Shadaloo)
I'm gonna have to go with this one:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
As for why I should win, I really wish I had a bigger reason, but in all honesty, I don't feel deseriving because I'm new to the scene. I started taking Super Street Fighter IV seriously 6 months ago, and have slowly been getting recognition online. The Street Fighter series has always been on my top favorite list and one day, I decided that I wanted to go deeper into understanding the game to a new level that I knew I could achieve one way or another. I haven't proven myself to the community, and I don't think it helps being stuck in Idaho of all places, but with the few people here into the game, and online, at least my chances aren't cut entirely.
One thing I can promise, if I do win, it'll be a huge confidence boost for me to go a step further, and really prove myself. I'm trying my best to save up to go to EVO2011, and I can't think of a better way than to surprise everyone by having some random kid from Idaho walking around with a Calvin and Hobbes stick repping Juri and Balrog LOL

If I could get my hands on this arcade stick....the destruction i will bring and the glory i will achieve will be legendary for shadaloo!!!!

I'm not gonna tell you that I can't afford a fightstick because I'm too busy feeding the homeless with my life savings, or that I saved a litter of orphan kittens from a burning building with nothing but a wet towel.
I won't tell you all about my financial situation and how hard it is to make ends meet in this wretched economy.
I will tell you that I'm driven to play and compete in fighting games, and I'd like nothing more than to do it in style.

I'm pretty much a casual gamer, and my close friend is a little more hardcore than me. Needless to say, when we heard about the buy one get one fightstick promotion recently, we figured this would be the best time to get one. So when we finally get our money together to purchase the fightsticks, I get on to order and gameshark tells me that the offer is no longer valid. FML
I think I should win because of the disappointment we just went through. IfI do win, we can spend the money on another TE fightstick, and would technically still be getting buy one get one free fightsticks. Win.
Not to mention that these sticks are insanely stylish.
yo i'd lie to win because over the week end me an my girl was trying to find 1 and an we went to the source canada get 1 i buy the cheap ass $41 intec arcade fight stick took it home .. an plug it in than nothing happen .... like what to f ... can't get a refund ... had to take two $20 psn cards ... then my girl friend is telling me that we should have started to look for a fight stick since street fighter 4 .. lol ... man ... so you'll help a brother out ..if i have a chance to win hope im not to late on this thing .. lol .... im not cheap.. i jus wanted to play like everyone else ... after 2 yrs man controls limit you an i kinda wanna try to get better ... any mean necessary even buy a cheap fight stick ... that's my story

I thought I'd be a lil creative since this is a contest after all.My A-Z (literally) reasons:
A-RCADE STICK:I dont own any arcade stick yet.
B-EAST:I want to be a BEAST in SF like Daigo.
C-OMBO CONSISTENCY:I want to execute my BNB combos consistently. The pad just ain't cuttin it.
D-AIGO:I've always idolized Daigo's god-like game play and execution skills. That's why I want to have my own stick, coz I aspire to be better!
E-VENTHUBS-ER:I'm an eventhubs-er.I visit this fantastic site everyday.
F-ADC into Ultra:Coz doin this with a pad is too hard.
G-ODLIKE GAME PLAY:I want my street fighter skills to be god-like and I believe that with a stick I can finally move one step closer.
H-IT-CONFIRM MOVES:I hate it when can't pull-off hit-confirm moves just like what many of the top players do?With a pad it is too hard to hit confirm moves consistently.
I-NCREASE my execution skills:Again, even a seasoned pad player like myself has trouble in consistently executing combos.
J-UST FRAME INPUT MASTERY:No need to elaborate.I think all of us find it impossible to do jf moves with a pad.
K-ARA-CANCEL MOVES ARSENAL:Example is with Ken's throw.A simple move such as this is too inconsistent when using a pad.It can make it more difficult than it really is.
L-INKS:I know I want to be able to link one normal move to another just like what the "pros" are doing.
M-AHVEL BABY!:No doubt I also plan on using the arcade stick when MVC3 comes out.Since it's a fast-paced game,a pad really isn't designed for this game.
N-EGATIVE EDGE technique mastery:Many may not know this. This is a useful technique.Especially in games like 3rd Strike.
O-PTION SELECT MASTERY:Do I need to explain? You've seen how absolutely fantastic this technique is.Too difficult to do with a pad.
P-LINKING,PIANOING MASTERY:I think we can all agree that this is too difficult to do with a pad.
Q-UANTUM LEAP in gameplay experience.Playing with a pad is fun but I also feel that playing with an arcade stick truly emulates the arcade-feel of a game like STREET FIGHTER.
R-USHDOWN STYLE gameplay:Rushdown style imo can really only be properly implemented using a stick due to it's layout and design.
S-TREET FIGHTER for lyf!SHADALOO MEMBER for lyf.Need I say more?lol
T-AKE MY GAME to the next level!
U-PGRADE FROM PAD TO STICK:This is the whole point of my uber-long comment.
V-ORTEX:With characters like Akuma and Ibuki who can utilise vortex moves and set-ups,it can be very difficult to pull off using a pad.
W-INNING THIS CONTEST would be a WISH come true.
X-MAS GIFT:I know it should be Christmas gift, but I couldn't think of anything else.lol
Y-UN AND YANG:I want to be able to play these guys with an arcade stick when the DLC comes out.
Z-ERO TO HERO:And last but least,I want to be one step closer to becoming a ZERO to HERO in the annals of SF History!
Good LUCK and MERRY XMAS to everyone!

This fightstick looks incredible.
Here is why I think I should win:
I have been an avid Street Fighter fan since first playing Street Fighter 2 almost 20 years ago. I also visit EventHubs daily to see what news is posted in regards to all things Street Fighter and MVC3 related. I also like to see interesting combos, crossups, unblockable setups, advanced input tactics, etc. posted on here by those who are MUCH better than I at SSF4. I feel that one reason, amongst many, that these gamers who are able to discover set ups and master specific tactics are so much better is that they are not playing on a garbage Xbox 360 controller.
I have always wanted a fightstick of my own, but unfortunately I am paying my way through college and can barely afford rent each month-- so obviously I don't have the extra bucks to shell out for a quality stick. I also have no desire to waste money on a poorly made stick that may be on sale. If I'm going to get off the wallet for a fightstick, I want it to be a damn good one. If given the chance to own an expertly crafted fightstick I feel that my Street Fighter abilities would be improved and I would have a newly found enthusiasm for the fighting series I have loved and played for so long.
Here is a haiku to sum up my aspirations:
Street Fighter hopes high
Controller options so low
Shadaloo, please help
I'm back and its 2:00am and I have class tomorrow. And I'm in college chasing my dreams to become one of the greatest actors of all time. But at the same time I have a passion for Street Fighter that just will not go away. Of course I have a history with fighting games but along with acting I want to show the world that games are more then just having fun and competitive scenes. It is something that is growing, leading technology, even making headline news across the whole world. But the most important part about the ever evloving video games is that it has a voice. With music and movies having to be the most popular, video games has one uniqueness that music and movies do not have. And thats staying true to its purpose. No matter what, video games want us to all express ourselves individually. music and movies can be expressed but they cannot show the individual expression of that moment. In other words, one can show art but the power to change it for one to relish. Well that my friend is something you define.....
I think I'm a perfect candidate to win a stick because I'm a man who appreciates a good design.

Look at this beast, a stick fit for a very suave king. The Calvin Klein of sticks. Beautifully modest sandalwood housing. Luxurious black leather padding for comfort with matching sleek black Sanwa buttons in the traditional, tried and true slight curve layout. Why I'd probably spend as much time playing with it as I would sharing with it African game hunting stories over a glass a scotch in the study. Hell I got so much hype talking about it I whipped up something to go with it, check it out:

who doesnt love deejay? love how slick the design is too.
im a poor out-of-college student who cant find work anywhere it seems and so i never have to cash to afford the TE or even the SE. playing SF has brought so much into my life, but its hard going to tournaments when you dont have your own stick, and I always feel ashamed having to borrow from one person or another. Having a stick of my own would make my life so much easier, as weird as that sounds.
thanks for running this contest. Shadaloo.

I often find myself wandering town to town, with my burlap sack. My red headband blows with the wind, and my white gi is torn, as I walk incredible distances to find my next foe. When I find a comfortable rock to lay my head on at night, all I can do is dream about what will happen next in my journey, the journey of becoming the best street fighter.
People may crack jokes, as to why I am walking in a town with a karate uniform, but they do not understand the significance. When challenged, I shut them up as my hands are programmed to do "quarter circle forward punch". People do not realize, my burlap sack does not contain items for survival, but contains a portable generator, xbox 360, small tv, and the ocasional redbull for when concetration becomes the deciding factor in the decision of who becomes the better street fighter.
I recently traveled to my hometown, where I was challenged by a couple of strange fellows in an alley. They turned out to be a couple of guys that were up to no good, started making trouble in my neighborhood. I got in one little fight and my mom got scared, and said "your moving with your Auntie and Uncle in Bel-air"
.............and I lost to them because...........................I was using a standard xbox controller.
Help me out Shadaloo. Help me get my revenge.

I own two fighting sticks, a HORI RAP3 and a TE stick, both have broken on me. It wasn't until recently that I realized the gate on my HORI was broken since day 1. I bought off ebay trying to get a good deal and he sold it to me in bad condition. But i never realized the difference until I tried my friends fight stick. I have no money to buy a new one and really want a stick that's in good condition! I'll take anything rally! as long as it works! Thanks for the opportunity guys.

I'm not going to make this too long. I personally run a club for gaming in my spare time that I'm having trouble getting off of the ground. It's not funded in any way by the school, so I'm hoping to bring in an interest in competitive fighting games. I could probably afford a PS3 plus the SS4+Stick deal, but if I'm going to buy one and not get a deal off of it, I'd like it to be of at least some quality, because there's some younger kids in the club who like to play too, and they can be a little bit rough. Hopefully something from Shadaloo would be more durable. It'd really be great to get this because the club's supposed to be a charity, and without any competitive games and equipment (at the moment that consists of...Halo Reach...) it's harder to pull together a crowd for some sort of benefit event and make money for the equipment in the first place. Any break I could get trying to finance all I need would be appreciated. Hope to break out of this loop, thanks Shadaloo.
This is a fightstick design that I am in love with!

So simple, so elegant, and yet, you can tell whoever owns means serious, classy business.
In the part of north Florida I live in, the Fighting game scene is pretty much dead. I hope to change that... But first things first, is trying to get good at a game in which I play for the sheer enjoyment. I don't care about winning, I've always loved fighting game -- even though I'm relatively new to actively playing them. Yet, it's frustrating, trying to get better on Madcatz SE sticks, being the only thing I can really afford beyond a single used Hori I got to replace the two SE's that crapped out on me for various reason, and Madcatz wouldn't help me with. Now the Hori is dying as well, maybe it's just my luck. It's tough finding anything dependable on a tight budget.
Okay, down to the brass tacks. I'm a scrub, yes, but I love fighting games to the very depths of my soul. I want to get better, and I want to get other people around here playing together, going out to tournaments, or heck, even doing them ourselves... But it's nearly impossible to do with broken equipment.

The reason I would this stick is because of my cousin. Over the past couple of months we have gotten really close thanks to weekly session of SSFIV, and during those sessions we would try to get better using joysticks. We both had TEs, so no complaints in that department however his place got robbed recently. He lost not only his PS3, but all his games, his television, computer and of course, his joystick. Since Akuma is his main I thought that if he could receive it would bring a smile to his face.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I'm really digging the Seth design, similar to the one I tried to make in photoshop.
Of course I don't actually own a Mad Catz TE arcade stick and I just made a design for fun because the truth of the matter is.
My reason for wanting to the win the stick is very straightforward,
I want to improve my game.
I play Guile and currently hold around 10,000PP. I'm quite possibly the most embarrassing Guile, those silly 10000PP come from just a mere zoning game because 1 frame links are impossible on the Xbox 360 controller. I have great loads of fun but I can't help but realize I'm missing out on fundamental techniques used by the pros like plinking and piano rolls. Try and Kara Tiger Shot with this dpad, sheesh.
I've got experience with Super Street Fighter IV and with my entrance to the 10,000BP+ players I sometimes even fight some pros.
Boy do they whip my Guile around hard, I can't link c.lp, to c.mp haha. I think I have potential to do well with this game and maybe the blocking point is my weapon of choice. The crab claw position I use trying to pull off simple pro combos, I think the arcade stick, especially you guys at Shadaloo with your beautifully crafted pieces, is the solution to my road block. Nice and big, and I can use all my fingers, finally with more practice I can pull off the big leagues stuff.
I'm just a SF fan from Toronto who wants to get into things like the Canada Cup, I'd appreciate if you guys gave me a chance to improve my game, because this city is desolate of Madcatz TE Sticks (and the cool Seth design which I really liked) and maybe I can finally stick it up with the pros.
But I'll make it easier for you at guys at Shadaloo.
Since Seth is having his j.HP removed you guys can just take it out, it'll reduce the weight for shipping I hope.
Cheers Shadaloo.eu, cause Seth had one of the best jumping attacks of all time,
of all time.

I think i should win because I only recently purchased super street fighter 4. However, ever since I got it, I've been hooked. For the past 3 weeks I've had this game, I've been playing it non-stop in every spare moment i can get. I practice as much and i even try to incorporate Juri's Tae Kwon Do skills into my own (i have a black belt)
Winning this stick would mean alot to me as im still at school and cannot buy one. also my family is having financial issues, so winning one is my best bet.
I'd hope that with it i could improve my skills and eliminate the scrubby Ryu's trolling the online.

First of all, don't expect a " book-comment " like all the others... It's not that I don't want, but it's that I can't : French are not the best for learning other country languages, I must admit it yeah.
So, why I think I should win this perfect stick ? In france, the VS fighting isn't popular, and learning/entering the scene is hard as hell for a beginner like me... Buying a joystick ( No good deals in EU, damn ! ), learning the tricks and rules of SSFIV... Everything is hard. And I'm sure playing with a lovely stick like this will help me rock trough this VS fightning scene and learn how to kick the ass of all those asian monster ! Ahah.
Even if my comment will never win, I've find this contest pretty fun, looking at everyone favorite stick is fn cool.

i loved the street fighter genre since i was a youngster, now that I'm older i want to show myself to the fighting community and what i can to the table in the fight scene for this amazing fighting. i want to go to tournaments especially EVO but the only thing stopping me is the fact that i dont have an arcade stick. i would be honored if my first arcade stick would be from you guys at shadaloo because your arcade sticks are unique and look very well crafted.
thank you for this chance at winning a great arcade stick .no others compare to your sticks

I started playing Street Fighter and it's sister games with Marvel Super Heroes in 1995. I was 12. I saw Iron Man's Proton Cannon and couldn't beleive there was a fighting game that combined all of my favorite characters, (my first comic was an Iron Man comic.)
This was at a small arcade on Whidbey Island, WA. Growing up there I only got to play occasionally, until getting a PSX and purchasing Marvel Super Heroes and it's sequels. Growing up in a sparsely populated area, I never learned to use a fight stick, simply fighting the AI over and over again, as I didn't know anyone else who played; I was simply motivated by the depth of the fighting engine and the characters themselves.
Not until Marvel vs Capcom 2 did I start to find people to fight, as I had a summer job in Seattle during High School. I quickly found out that my controller skills didn't translate at all to the arcade fight sticks, and resigned once again to playing at home on the Dreamcast controller.
College hit and the PS2 was used exclusively for MvC2 and SF3: Third Strike. We all played with controllers, as none of us had enough money to spend on anything, let alone fight pads.
Now SSF4 is here, and finally I can play online. I've become a decent B ranked Dictator player, but I know to increase my game I need to by a fight stick. I've gotten 4 of my co-workers into Street Fighter; they all check out Event Hubs daily, but none of them have made the transition to the fight stick yet.
Help me break the mold and finally make the transition over to what the pros use.
I am not pppputttting any effort into this.

As to why I should win the custom stick, I would like to quote Rolento from SFA2
'Let’s fight again, so I can stick it to you.' (pun intended)
A custom stick would be perfect for giving me the upper hand against my opponents.
Ill be completly honest...I already own 2 TE sticks personally but the main reason being is I like how compact they look and it would fit perfectly in my Evo carry bag to tote around at college and at local tournies...the other reason i want one is that they look very bad ass and look to be built with quality and care. The very least ill be showing it off to the public and im almost sure they would end up getting one from you all also. ^_^ GG GL HF!

I'm probably at a disadvantage here because I'm a female gamer but I'll still give it a go!
Basically, SF has always been my favourite game -although for the 1st few years I was only able to watch my brother play it on the SNES! I'm now older and have a 360 so I can play them myself. However, it's not always too easy for me to use the supplied pad as I have a form of multiple sclerosis as well other health problems that leave me very tired and in pain for long periods without warning. As a result, I spend long periods of time indoors and if I'm able to, I'll be on SF4 or Super SF4. For me, a custom stick (which I could never afford) would make it easier for me to play these games and more, help improve my manual dexterity and help get rid of the boredom and sad times that being young with this incurable condition can bring.
It might also give me the chance to actually win some ranked matches on xbox live!!!
Im gonna be honest im a street fighter fanboy and im a up and coming tournament player, but im still a scrub but i wanna win this contest so i can be one of the flyest scrubs when i show up to a local tournament know what i mean.i might even surprise a few people,im 18 and representing the up and comin new generation of fighters.

Lyrics:
Let me tell you straight quick, I'd like an arcade stick
Cause every day I get pissed cause I can't play for ****
People used to a stick usually lame it with tricks
I don't contain the skills to get away from gimmicks
I mean don't get me wrong, I'm decent at beasting
Sometimes the reason I lose is I hit the wrong key in.
I lose my rehearsed game all of the sudden by mispressing a button
What happens when I try to do a reversal? Nothin.
If you dudes at Shadaloo hooked me up, that'd be cool
I can win both in game and out with an attitude
Leave them mashin buttons til their controller is black and blue
Get em ringed out like fools in Soul Calibur 2
Calvin and Hobbes would take the hell out of your life bar
This tiger is no Sagat, got two working eyes and no scar
These comics will cause me laughter as I cause disaster
To your character's stature, you'll have to call me Master

Well my mother had recently had a very bad fall and now is basically crippled. She has broken her neck and back for the most part and now can barely move. She no longer has a job due to this injury nor will she ever be able to get a job. Since she can not work we don't have much money to spend on ourselves let alone to feed ourselves. Christmas is coming around and seeing as how I have to stay home most of the time to take care of my mom I can not get a job, this means that we can't afford presents and it would be a real generous gesture if you can grant this Christmas present so that we may have something to present to my younger brother on Christmas morning. Thank you.

I want to win the stick to give it away as the grand prize of an offline tournament. Portugal has a real small scene and i believe an awesome stick like those would atract a lot of new people to come out and play with the rest of us, instead of staying home playing onlag matches.

Really I just want to keep getting better at these games. Lately I've been feeling the limitations of the standard controller and it's been really holding me back. I chose the Shin Akuma stick for a reason, because Akuma just tries to get better by any means and that is what I want to do as well. That's why I want this stick.

I want to win the stick for my best friend. He is a loner and no girls like him. Thus, I want to win him this stick to give him some joy in his life.

I would like the dudley stick for my girlfriend becuase she wants to tag along sometimes with me and play but no fight stick means not so much fun! i told her i was going to buy her one for christmas but i got laid off a couple of weeks ago and havent really had enough to buy my self a gift! i atleast want to buy her one! luckily i found a job but i wont be getting paid until the last week of christmas or after. So getting this stick would be amazing and super great! becuase not only would i be saving money but i can also buy my girlfriend another gift besides just a fight stick becuase i bet you guys know how much a girl like jewlery!!! Either way thanks alot hope i win!

Honestly, I don't have some sob story like a lot of these other people, but Calvin and Hobbes cartoons have always been one of my favorite things, second only to fighting games. If you sent me this arcade stick i could guarantee it would be going to a good home where it would be taken good care of and used frequently(at least 10 hours a week, but usually closer to 30).

I love shadaloo sticks, I would sport this baby at all the tournaments i go to, I feel if i had a nicer stick it would improve my gameplay hopefully i get picked haha goodluck everyone, i didn't get to finish what i was saying thing glitched or something and posted? so I'm posting the rest, I feel if i had a good stick this would take me far in tournament play i would really love to have a stick and make it to the next evo or guardcrush and win my execution is greatly hindered i would also use this to help boost my super turbo/ggpo scene, I love super turbo with a passion and arcades we're trying to bring it back as john rambo would call it the super turbo revolution but we lack equipment sticks etc i feel this would help me in many ways not only me but other players because i would donate my ex2 to a player who didn't have a stick and really wanted to learn and play on ggpo anyways thanks great posts from everyone else great contest, awesome stick work hope the best from everyone

I would love to win a stick because ive been wanting to get a second stick so me an my brothers can play against each other stick vs stick instead of stick vs pad which would give us a huge motivation to really get into fighting games. thanks.

This controller stick is realy FAT.
This yellow/black case looks like a 'Nun Chaku'.
Reminds me of FIGHTING all the way.
I deserve To Get One because 'with my age I directly come from the Arcade Area and only accept these kind of buttons.

I couldn't seem to find a custom fight stick that I liked before. The quality of customs just weren't up to par with the price. But after seeing Shadalooooo's sticks, they're the cats pajamas. I'd never seen such gloss. Not even on my g/f's lips! I'd wear one of these sticks on a chain around my neck. I'd put it on my king size bed and sleep on the ground because these sticks deserve that kind of respect. Wooo weeee.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadaloo...
I love the Dudley stick because he is the symbol of dignity and honor.
The reason I want a fight stick is for my little brother. Me brother and I love playing street fighter. I've been playing since my parents bought Street Fighter II on the SNES. My little brother just recently got into Street Fighter when i brought home Street Fighter 4. I'm ok with playing on a pad, but my brother really loves the sticks. He spends all day in the arcade in my area training up his Able, even though SSF4 is out on console, he still plays in the Arcades for the stick, so having a stick for him would be amazing. Thank you.

When I saw this controller, it brought back great memories of my childhood - waking up early on the weekends to rip the comics out of the newspaper and read my favorite one first, Calvin & Hobbes. It's really nostalgic looking at the stick, and it's done so clean, simple and professionally.
Let's put it straight. I've been a gamer all my life and a huge fighting game fan... but I'm not very good at Street Fighter. I love the game, I used to 'try' to play competitively, but apparently I'm a big pile of suck. I think I -need- this stick so that while I'm getting mopped up by the pros, or hustled by children and their grandmothers, at least I'll get props for my world-class pimped out stick. Who says you can't lose in style? :) Help a SF-wannabe-nooblet out for the holidays!
Merry Christmas!

First of all thanks for the gift they will do at Christmas .. my English is not very nice so I'll try to explain. I have sweaty flashbacks when I start playing super turbo at my local laundromat. I really would like to release the beast and beat down players with a stick I can call my own. Is there any love out there for a a poor college kid?
The Calvin and Hobbes Stick looks really nice.Always have been a fan of the comic.

I've been playing street fighter for a while now. I started with Street Fighter 4 and been playing since with the regular ps3 pad. I really want to play on a stick, but have not had a chance to get my hands on one.

I've been racking my head as to best beat out my competition in this contest and I didn't realize I missed the entry date. Since I spent so much time rewriting this with several different approaches, I figured I'd share it anyway.
I'm lucky enough to be a video game tester and on breaks I throw in my copy of SSF4. I was faced with the problem gaming on Xbox, but working on a PS3. So I've bought a fightstick for PS3, but play on a fightpad at home. I'm a pad warrior but have tried to learn the fightstick, and I love it. I'm working on getting a fightstick for PC/360/and PS3. Winning a fightstick would be a dream, or at least save me time in saving up money.

Damn, looks like I missed the entry date as well. But either way, I'll add my entry anyway and hope something happens. First off, the Afro Samurai stick itself is built really nicely. But I'm a little biased being that I'm an anime head and fighter genre fan, so it's the best of both worlds for me.
But it'd be nice to win the stick being that I'm one of the millions in the US who've been unemployed for over a year and unable to find work. Also, I have a younger sister who I've recently gotten into fighting games. So it'd be really dope to get a custom stick to help up my own game, as well as teach my sister more about the depth of fighter games. But to whoever wins, congrats and big ups to Eventhubs and Shadaloo for putting up this great contest and opportunity.

First of all i really appreciate having the opportunity to be in a contest like this. secondly i think i should win the stick because i wanna be the best fighting game player ever. I want to have something i can say i am the best in in this world so that i can tell my daughter when she comes into this world that she can be the best in whatever she chooses to be the best in. thats not gonna happen with my surrent equipment. I wanna inspire my daughter and i wanna inspire anyone whos come from nothing like me that if you choose to be great in something nothings going to hold you back. so thank you for hearing me out and i hope me or someone else gets positive use out of your guys generosity.

This is the stick of my choice.I have been a dee jay player since super turbo, and have been trying very hard to level up. On certain occasions have had to hold my controller sideways just to play because it has serious issues, and i seriously believe that this is hindering my leveling up process. my mother recently lost her job,and i dont see my father anymore,so i would not even bother to ask her for anything for christmas. But if i was to ever recieve a gift for christmas, this would be all i would need.
Here's an example of how a comment should look to enter to win. All you need to do is link to your favorite stick and add a reason you should win. Note, I'm not entering this contest. ;)
