The content end of things for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 has been finished up according to company V.P. Christian Svensson, and the title was sent to the various rating submission boards, in preparation of it's February 15, 2011 release.I'd like to see some changes to the License Card system.

I saw a listing for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 on the PC. Is it coming to that platform?
Sven: I wish it were true, but it is not. Not sure why Game has that listed falsely.
Maximo should be in MvC3, he's a lot like Arthur.
Sven: The problem is that Maximo basically IS Arthur. So there's not a lot of benefit to having both.
So Arthur and Maximo are clones?
Sven: In the sense that Maximo was originally meant to be an updated Arthur, yes.
Is GameStop the only place getting the Special Edition of MvC3? I pre-ordered the game.
Sven: [...] No it's not a GameStop exclusive but they are limited in number and there will only ever be one production run on them.
I think you did the right thing by pre-ordering. I'm almost positive anyone who doesn't will not get one of the special editions.
Any chance of seeing this at Target, on store shelves?
Sven: It's possible but we don't have their orders in house yet and I don't believe they've told us that they intend to carry it. Target only very rarely stocks a second, more expensive SKU of a title. Even if they do carry it, their allocation is likely to be low as compared to some of the more core destinations.
How many signatures are we at right now for Darkstalkers 4? Is someone keeping track of this?

For all of those saying that DLC characters were annouced too soon, YOU SEE WHY in less than a week after the annoucment of DLC characters and the special edition the game is confirmed done. So while the final at least 4 characters(one capcom one marvel each month for the next 2 months until release) have yet to be shown doesn't mean capcoms forcing DLC down our throats
What about Mega Man... isn't Mega Man gonna join the fight in MvC3. It won't be the same without him.
im down for the dlc petition after we know who will be in the game. the only characters i want in are cyclops and mega man. i already got tron in as much as people don't like her. that drill of hers is crazy fast in the air.
Well use this time from here until launch to make DLC characters, namely Cyclops and other important mainstream X-Men who don't make the cut, Bobby with an updated movelist would be ideal, then put in Dr. Strange to go with Shuma, give me another Darkstalker, then I want you to give me an Onimusha character. GOT IT!? WITH THAT, YOU HAVE A GUARANTEED 10k PURCHASES.

also, maybe they haven't revealed every character that is in the actual game yet.

I think the point many of you are missing is DLC is a seperate deal and could have been. The game is gonna cost 59.99, the Special Edition is 69.99 the difference is 10 bucks guys 10 BUCKS.
The extra stuff you get with the Special Edition is worth probably 40 bucks without the DLC characters. So your looking at a 50 dollar value for 10 bucks. I just don't know what the problem is especially since your getting the game anyways.
Most special edition games will cost 79.99 for the same quality stuff.

By redundant, I mean it's pointless to request characters to be on the final disk when the cast is locked. I also mentioned that my hope is now sanctioned soley to DLC.

Been keeping up and being patient with MvC3. Still keeping my fingers crossed for Strider (they never deconfirmed him). So far I'm not digging this roster outside Amaterasu, Deadpool, Thor and Zero out of the new bunch.
And where's the new SSF4 announcement? I've been waiting for it.
I wonder if there is characters that u have to unlock on the game instead of all character being on the game like SSF4 or Tekken 6 i hope theirs more characters instead of the characters thats been revealed all together i just hope some more capcom people come into the game
