Shuma Gorath and Jill may not have downloadable mp3s like everyone else, but they should have their own music in the game, or that will count as a game dev/planning failure.

Being an electronic music fan myself, I have to admit that, despite my newly established love for Capcom, some of their newer themes are horrible. She-Hulk sounds like something taken straight from a "Club Hits" from the late '90s.

About Shuma and Jills themes I think the reason why we don't have a theme for them is because we don't have a video reveal of them, they only were officially announced because of the Game Stop deal. We probably won't see a trailer for them until after the full core roster is complete or if they decide to show them at all but I think they want to do a trailer first, does'nt make sense to not have a theme when you designed them for DLC from the start.
Seth was saying long ago that they were thinking of swapping some unannounced characters they were probably talking about Jill and Shuma and said they can be offered as DLC instead.
Not to mention that they ruined Dudley's theme in SSFIV. What were they thinking when they added "Get on the dance floor" in that stupid auto-tuned voice? And don't even get me started on Makoto... :|

not sure if i like zero's theme, i mean, its good and all but i always imagined him like a more heavy metal/hard rock kind of guy, that theme goes better with x

also i know zero is really kenish, i mean, i kiked asses the first time i played tatsunoko vs capcom with him, but i wanted to play with him in a fighter my whole life so the scrubs wont stop me from enjoying one of my childhood favorite characters

How does She-Hulk's theme not fit her? Have you ever read a comic involving She-hulk? She's incredibly up-beat, confident, and in-your-face kinda personality. This song is incredibly fitting.

No... not at all. I'm skeptical about Jill and Tentacles. They seem like an obvious money ploy. But I'm not a dev. I dunno whats happening behind the scenes. Maybe the two characters won't be finished by the release date, in which case making them DLC makes sense and isn't as much of a rip off.
BUT future DLC characters are a great idea. The devs don't have all the time and money in the world. There is, without a doubt, a huge list of characters they want in (and the fans), but just don't have to time to add them. Future DLC allows them to add it after the fact. They get paid, we get more characters, everyone wins.
But just because they'll add in other characters later doesn't make MvC3 any less of a full game. And thus, no reason it should cost any less then a full game.

Well of course it's a ploy you think they get paid in hype alone? You know how much it cost to develop a game? Do you know how much it cost to license a Marvel character? Im not faulting them on it because it's a buisness and buisnesses must make money. Thats just the way it goes. Nothing made by man in this word is free. You have a choice to buy it or not, those who see value in it will buy it, those who don't will not. Fair trade.
