I do follow them but there is only so much reading about the moves and strategies can do for someone. It also takes actual playing against skilled opponents to know where your strengths and weaknesses are. So that is why I had posted that earlier. I thank you for your words of encouragement sir.

Well i guess after your match people can evaluate your habits to get a better understanding of what you are having problems with. If you wanna use this opportunity against daigo to learn, examine his tendencies as well as your own and take notes on things that you allow your self to get hit from and things you are able to land and see later if you are able to expand that hit for more damage.

And chun li super can punish quite a few things on block. Believe that standing roundhouse you blocked from ryu could of been punished by it

yea RA_MO you should have atleast 2 ground combos 1 good jump in combo that you can rely on and atleast one good combo ready for any focus crumples you may land. And you will probably be better off using U2 for its ease of landing, until you feel ready to be able to react to fireballs and a few other things before trying U1.

You are right about that! I do not have much experience in the game yet but to face is and win or lose... May sound weird to most but it chances how you feel about the game. I honestly admit that when I lose at times online I do get frustrated but not this time... it felt nice. Like maybe you are not so bad after all. That perhaps you have been pushing yourself way too hard into believing you cannot win. So now I just feel that if I lose.. There will be a next time. And I do tend to face him again one day... Until then... Training room it is.

Clearly more than 1 really good character exists atm, not like Vanilla with Sagat being superior on the edge of being broken. I guess you could argue who the best characters really are, but I guess its mostly personal opinion and also about who one have a hard time against. If you struggle a lot vs for instance Zangief players, you'll tend to say he's amongst the better players.

Daigo was dropping links and mashing DP's all over the place. He was fighting against the Lag more than the player. Plus he was being interviewed at the same time. I don't think he took it that seriously.

The only reason why PSN won is because you guys had the advantage of playing a Daigo that's not used to lag, while X-box users on the other hand faced the full wrath of the beast who was not affected by any lag whatsoever!

What is more shocking? That a so called pro rage quit or the fact that people try to justify it. This is what the so called pros on the peaceful jay stream do, they purposely lag the connection trying to get wins to pad there win stats and when they can't beat you they will either rage quit or lag the game out completely but even though you were winning the so called pro winds up still having his turn and you get bumped to the back of the line. And the chat room whores slurp them to know end. But hey this is why other than wong and valle no one actually takes the American street fighter community seriously.

What would increasing our win stats benefit us? Lag connection on purpose? LOL. We play online to get used to matchups and improve our skills in preparation for local tournaments and sometimes to just chill and goof around. Pros don't play online to brag their PP or BP, there's just nothing to gain from it. Daigo used Ken instead of Ryu against lamerboi so he had no reason to even try to play seriously.
Again watch NCR tomorrow and there you'll see LAMERBOI play seriously. Hopefully we get to see them fight again in a tournament for a real runback. Or even better go and attend the tournament instead. Then you'll see how casual online play =/= offline tournament.

Jeez, some people need to lighten up. I was just disappointed that they didn't show his reaction to the "rage"quit. I would have loved to see how a pro responded to and dealt with common online tactics such as turbo, lag switches and eventually disconnects.

I played Lamerboi and I beat him in a endless match 6-1 against his Guile before he rage quit..I will say this he has a nice guile but best in U.S.A. I seen better...and trust me offline the results would be the same...

A long time ago marn also felt viper was one of the strongest character, but almost nobdoy felt that way.

I will agree with that...people who think Akuma is a B level character dont realize that with the right guy Akuma is a nightmare despite his health and his nerfs...Tokido is a perfect example of how nasty Akuma can be and by far has the best mix ups in SSFIV game period.
