Nyoronoru put together a ton of revisions for the Chun-Li Super Street Fighter 4 guide here on EventHubs.Chun-Li is one of the best zoning characters in SSF4 with a very strong poking and solid fireball game. Her mixups are good, a lot of her options are safe and like any other great character in the game, she has no problem landing her Ultras in a match.
Other advantages include top-tier throwing ability, a dominating aerial game, fast walk speed and a great Focus Attack. She also has powerful juggle options which can leave opponents feeling defenseless.
If you want to go further, make sure you stop by the Central Discussion page for Chun-Li, which is ran by Killertakedown on the EventHubs Forums, as it contains additional information not in the main write up.
1 low short into EX legs
2 low shorts into EX legs
3 low shorts into EX legs
and Combo that into Ultra...
I say consoles won't get the update until (at least) Q2 2011. From a marketing point of view, releasing it any time soon would clash with the imminent release of MVC3. Releasing it after MVC's launch will keep people interested in SSF4.
That's just my guess.
I don't think that jump in HP, crouching HP cancel into medium bird combo's damage is accurate.
y r u guys revising wait until ssf4 arcade edition then revise, many characters r going 2 b changed drastically.
Good job on the revision.
Can't see us getting the update anytime soon.
Arcade Edition most likely won't be out for console for months. These are still going to be useful for awhile.
@ Arcane #5
I dont see how releasing the arcade patches and character DLC in 2011 is a smart idea at all. Nor would it "clash" with MvC3. patches dont clash with full out new retail games.
Who wants to be going to the arcade to play a totally different game essentially, then go home and be playing the old version? What if your practicing at home so you can go back to the arcade to beat the person who beat you previously? That doesnt make any sense to me and i think it would be in Capcoms best interest to get that Patch out for consoles ASAP.
I could understand slightly if we dont get yun and yang straight away, but I dont see how changes in frame data, specials, walk speeds, damage, etc would be such a headache to give to us. And they shouldnt be charging us just for those changes so having to organise and put a price on its head shouldnt be part of the problem
capcom isnt bringing those changes to console anytime soon. They need to let the arcades make there money and theres no way those arcade operators are gonna buy this new edition if it hits consoles a month later, its just not happening. THose changes need to stay exclusive to arcade for atleast 6 months before they do anything for console and chances are we arent gonna get arcade edition, we are gonna get another verison for console, ie super street fighter 4 turbo.
Isnt the arcade machines exclusive for japan, dont see what good is to let us know what happening with that whole thing if we arent gonna benefit from it. And in japan they prefer the arcade machines themselves so i dont see the harm in patching the game around the same time for the rest of the world to get to play with some new characters and what not.
Ssfiv AE will be on console jan-feb....and it will be played at evo.
i love the vs character notes section. you can really learn how to play and stand a more likely victory against your most annoyed characters. you can even learn a few things you didnt know of. too bad most of my favorites still dont have that section. So again, please UPDATE for Guile and Dan.
