Also, just in case you missed it earlier, here is the official artwork for both fighters.

Wow she hulk really is like el fuerte on acid and steroids jeez!!!I love it and zero damn just damn dude is animal.
ANOTHER video where MODOK doesnt do a normal block a single time.......
hmmmmm maybe all the people who told me i was retarted when i said i dont think MODOK can do a normal block will be bowing down to me soon!
mwhahaha? well see
and shulk looks like shes got a few unblockable setups with that level 3 there :) thing seems super fast, and from what i can tell it has grab properties so it cant be blocked
ouch i take that back im very worried about zero XD saw the second video
She-Hulk looks like she has Alex's mechanics and general gameplay.
Zero is an even more crazy combo version than his TvC incarnation. Lol.
i like how the characters talk sh*t before the fight lol "your name Zeron? I hope you don't fight like one.." lol
The new stage is awesome because of the traditional Ghosts 'n Goblins start up. Now that is awesome.
It didn't lol, his voice actor just has good pronunciation. He should, he's been doing anime like forever.
Considering how most characters can do 80% and above damage with only 1 super, I don't think using four bars and a nearly maxed out X-Factor to do 100% damage is too much.
Zero looks untouched from his TvC counter part. I'm calling it now. Top tier team will be different combinations of Zero, Dante and broken assists.
It looks to me like Marvel is making their characters pretty balanced (well as balanced as it can get in MVC) while Capcom is making their characters OP.
I have a feeling that I am going to fight a lot of Dantes and Zeros when this game comes out.
And now everybody's lineup will be Dante, Zero, and some character with a good assist :/
So, so far we can see that She Hulk has a few options after the wall bounce:
1) Butt Splash
2) Drop kick
3) Cross Chop (like Alex Jump Down+Towards HP)
3) Cancel? (drops down straight)
Run Options:
1) Clothesline
2) Volley ball catch
3) Slide kick
4) Grab and Knee (or is it a different special? I don't see the running lines behind her when she does it and it looks more like Jin Saotome's command grab)
I also see a command grab, anti air grab and a flash kick attack. Plus a grab, an anti air and a drop kick super. Hrm... she seems kinda fun to play with, can't wait to try her out.
BTW, Cap's bouncing shield combo looks awesome!
@#26
No, we all noticed. It was like that in his minute trailer, too. Also you can hear his voice go to Japanese during some of his extended combos. Evidently they haven't recorded all of his English VA yet, but they wanted to give us some gameplay trailers of him anyway.
@31..LMAO best one so far!
- Amaterasu is going to be a great assist and her Hyper that slows others down has GREAT implications
-Zero I still think you're scum of the earth thanks impart to TVC , but he is STILL a TOP TIER rush down charac IMO
-SheHulk what can I say, You stopped a car in its track and fugged up your opponent, you GodessLike!
-Modok..you ugly son of a b!tch.. What the hell is the Green sh!t coming out of your head. Hulk is Jealous!
-Wesker..you never had a chance
Honestly I was rooting for Bass(battlenetwork version) over Zero, but eh whatever
The f*ck is up with Zero's lvl 3?!? It did 50% dmg at the end of a combo! I know a lvl 1 is occurring simultaneously...but still! Also I assume She-hulk has a good vitality bar so that makes it even worse. I know the game was gonna have a few big combos 100% combos but it seems they should at least use 5 bars, not just 4 (sounds petty but makes a big dif) to occur. Right now I just see people are gonna be using zero as a main and tagging him in combos to finish with that lvl 3.
Digging the Shulk air throw Hyper tho. If anyone doubts her potential, that move alone makes her a power house.
Yeah, I haven't cried broke on anything that I've seen yet since we still haven;t seen the full game...but yeah...zero's combo potential needs some nerfing. Looks like you could own simply by maining Zero, picking a set up assist to start combos and MAYBE a battery character and GG.
Still liking shulk more than I thought I would. If that car throw is UB and that Air Throw hyper is UB....that's gonna be a powerful 50/50 (assuming you can't react to the flash).
I think we should all calm down as this game is still in Beta. Yeah that vid where Zero took 80% off of she-hulk was ridiculous.
I'm sure that will get toned down but is was using a level1 then level 3 super so I don't know. Personally I think the damage is higher because many are complaining that the timer in the round is always running out. that seemed to be a big complaint from many who have played MVC3 at game-shows etc.
True, but the timer kept running out because people didn't have the offensive strategies and combos figured out. It was a lot of poking and turtling trying to figure the character out so not a lot of damage was being done unless you were Dante or chun li. I feel there should be big combos but it needs to be like 5 hypers AND/or at least require an X-Factor.
everybody complaining about zero being OP is full of it or ignorant to the beast that is Magneto. sure he looks hella good in these vids, but its because he's suppose to. its his and she hulks gameplay vids. once a fair match is played where zero will have to play mags, its over. i really think this game is gonna be alot more balanced then TvC and MvC2.
My main squad so far looks like Deadpool, Super Skrull and Dormammu. sorry capcom.
I noticed that the charaters all of them barely blocked s*** like the She Hulk vs the Super Skrull's Corkscrew Hyper & Modok's Hyper beam. I think mainly cause this is an exhibtion showing more than a real match because if you notice there's plenty of times Hulk could have rolled/jumped out of the way of Zero
To those who noticed the high amount of damage zero's combo did to she hulk that ended with the level 3 (amazing) remember the main reason why it hit that hard was because of the x-factor system.Now if you have been keeping track its been mention that x-factor offers a big damage boost and the duration (idk about the damage buff)is based on how many member are still active in your team.So while it may seem ridiculous the damage made sense in that respect even though it was mad powerful.
@47
You are exactly right. These official gameplay videos are always choreographed, go back and watch ANY of them. It always comes down to 1 vs 1, there's usually an X-Factor in there, and it ends on a Hyper move. There's plenty of spots where they could have just not gotten their asses kicked, but they didn't. The videos are just showing off characters and combos, and maybe other more subtle things, like video #2 here shows you how long Wesker's counter stance last. Go back and watch old official videos like this and see if you can pick up on the subtle things they're showing off.
Ok, I didn't realize he used an X-factor (took a few watches to notice when he did it), it's looking a lil better to me now. I still say he's gonna need some nerfage, but I feel 4 meters + and X-factor is ok for that kind of damage. In a real match its gonna be hard to always have those available and you'll probably only get one use out of it per match if so.
Also how does one get an X factor?
Also...I just realized, this may be a corner only combo. Not sure exactly what the lvl 3 does, but im pretty sure the lvl 1 carries you away. The combos does carry you some distance but now we can assess it seems you need Full combo + lvl 1 + X-Factor + lvl 4 + corner. Zero is looking balanced.
@Pwn_Star: You don't really have to do anything to get an X-Factor. You have it available as a one-time-only deal from the start of the match, but it's more beneficial to use it when you have fewer characters left, so it's more of a way to turn the match back in your favor than an all-out offense tool.
"It looks to me like Marvel is making their characters pretty balanced (well as balanced as it can get in MVC) while Capcom is making their characters OP."
.... how does that make any sense, at all.
It's an EXHIBITION VIDEO, the feature characters are supposed to kick ass and the other characters are supposed to bend over and take it.
Why didn't we get a She-Hulk win?
After looking at Zero and Dante vids, I'm hoping to God that Storm is a frickin beast in this game. She'll show them 2 who's really God-tier lol.
I think Shulkie took whatever chance Rogue had. I like our Green Queen, but wouldn't Ms. Marvel be the better choice. I mean, let's break her down:
1.)Her name is MARVEL
2.)She has super strength well over 75tons
3.)she can fly
4.)she can absorb energy
5.)swhe can project energy
6.)She has a binary transformation!!
I wanted Rogue, but I'll admit that Ms. Marvel would be a great character this time around.
Update list:
Hsien-Ko
C.Viper
Taskmaster
Omega Sentinel
Hiryu
Ms. Marvel
Oh and i forgot:
Tessa and Scion from Red Earth
Disclaimer: I already know that this is an exhibition video, that there were multiple opportunities to block, and that the last combo required 4 meters and a full X-Factor.
Regardless, I still think that MvC3 could have really used a MegaCrash or some other Burst mechanic. Damage in this game is a lot higher than TvCs, and with all of the ground bounce resets, combos go on for longer too. The hitstun reduction doesn't seem to quite be enough to prevent a "get hit once lose half your life" combo.
Zero seems like a combo god, but his damage seems piss weak. Still probably going to be high tier though simply for is endless combos, and to who said she-hulk is like alex, I wholeheartedly agree.
K. someone explain the x-factor system to us that are out of the loop.
Modok needs more health or a higher damage output.
@60
This isnt sf4, this is gonna be really offensive/mixup oriented. And that alone is getting me excited about this game.
She-hulks dash is like thanos's in MVC2, instead of just a quick spurt of speed, she can actually run, awesome.
X-factor is so broken. For those who are complaining Zero is OP, yeah he did like 80% to She Hulk. After burning almost his entire meter AND using X-factor. That's pretty much to be expected of every character in this game.
She Hulk seems limited, but her insane damage and 50/50 throw mixups seem awesome.
I wasn't too thrilled by the suboptimal use of other characters, but otherwise it was a pretty nice showcase of the new characters.
@chickenwings
When did I say that I wasn't excited for the game? Or that I liked the sluggish mess that is SSFIV?
I'm just saying that MvC3 could have imported a few more TvC mechanics.
people bitching about the damage must've been pretty trashy at
mvc2.
my only problem is the hits last so long so the game feels slower. like zeros sword hits last forever!
X-Factor is so broken in this game!
there been videos out there shows 80-100% damage with the super cancel to X-Factor cancel to super (dormammu, hulk, skrull) they need to tone it down badly or balance the damage scaling of combos with x-factor properties on it! the first vid of zero up there is a good example!
In terms of x-factor, its like FADC, and usually you need to be good to use it. Second, it only cancels abilitys once, and at the end of a match when your losing and need that combo damage, i'd be glad to have it. Kinda dissapointed that none of the chars besides Shulk and Zero really did anything in this match. I hope it's MODOK's damage that needs to be buffed, cause if She-Hulk instead had zangief like health, then were talking bout a elfuerte char with godly abel like throws and the endurance of zangief. Might need a tweak to her stats haha.
As for Zero, he takes a beating hardcore, he has very short range on his normal attacks and his supers dont cover the whole screen like in TvC, so he looks good balance wise. Skrull needs something more cause Tenderizer Tenderizer Super isnt too skilled or fun to do. Also we need to play more spiderman and wesker to see whether they will actually be good or not.
i see zero still has combos ridiculous
but damn captain america is a badass "your name is zero? hope you dont fight like one"
LOL Wesker says god damnit @ 2:45 & She-Hulk has very good life...
HOLY F##K! Zero is a f##king god tier for sure.
@87
I think ur right but i hope im wrong. Everytime zero connected with anything it went to like a 20 hit combo, we will have to see if that stays the same by release. Theyll prob just make him do crap dmg or something.
where did you get the idea that dudley is broken in super street fighter 4? he is no where near broken the only you can call hi broken is when marn use him but other than hes not broken. don't assume someone is broken unless the game is not already bro like you said on zero.
@Every Single post about OP Zero
Guys this game is not out till february. And capcom listens to their community or else they would not have even considered putting Jill or Shuma Gorath as DLC. SSF4 has a tier list, but looking at every single middle tier character the point diffrence between the top and bottom of that middle tier is 8 matchs(170-178), with the high tier diffrence between the lowest and highest being 8 as well(180-188), and Cody C.Viper and Fuerte all have a score of 168, 2 below that of the bottom middle tier. so we have 21 out of 36 characters that have a match difference (from the lowest of mid and part of low tier to highest of high tier) of 20 matchs. Get a grip, they blanced SSF4 damn well, and they will with this game too, and we have what we call DLC now. If a truly broken mechanic(like chris missing his gun specials against short chars or dooms assist and dantes rockets making a combination that allows a player to spam said rockets till enemy death) then they will fix it. So for all out there who are OP crying, chill out, Capcom knows what they are doing.
If I recall, when that X-factor thing was first shown, I believe it was only able to activate if you had only one character left. But they decided that it was useable at any time in order to have the matches end before the time runs out.
I might have gotten something wrong there but maybe going back to having X-factor useable only when you have one character left is not such a bad idea.
The reason I see is because nobody knew how to do any combos during the time when people were not able to win within the time limit. But now, the community is starting to grasp the potential of this game.
This BS where Dante and Zero does a lvl 1 super > X-factor > lvl 1 super to do 50%-100% damage is beyond broken. I wouldn't mind letting people have this ability as "a comeback potential" if they only had one character. But if they are able to do it right off the bat, it does not seem like a well thought out game.
@94
That is true, a lot of people are worried about Zero and Dante, but they have a right to do so. I think most people are just afraid that it will be exactly like MVC2 where only 4-5 characters are used out of the entire cast.
Capcom did well in balancing SSFIV, but that is a completely different type of game. SSFIV is slow paced and there is huge damage scaling, because of that, it is easier to balance. But when compared to a game with a fast mechanic such as this, then balancing can be a little harder. Just adding one feature to this game (x-factor for example) can greatly change the balance of the characters. Which is what we are seeing now.
I'm not trying to sound like a smartass. I am just a big fighting game fan who is afraid that a game with a lot of potential will become a piece of sh*t when it comes out. Capcom does make some good decisions when it comes to balance, but they also do stuff that make me think that everyone that works for Capcom is retarded. So I'm just hoping they will get it right.
The people worrying about Zero being overpowered need to give it a rest. These are the same people who stated X-23 and Wesker would be OPed as well from a couple of CHOREOGRAPHED (I have to stress that) videos for the purpose of showing off newer characters. I'm sure Zero will be good and widely used but Capcom is doing an excellent job I think in keeping things relatively balanced this time around. This will be nowhere near MvC2's level and that's a good thing.
I want Superman in this game, lol. Kidding aside, I think Stan Lee will be one of the SECRET characters in this game just like they had Secret Characters in MVC1. lol
@96
No problem man, i dont think your a smartass. That is the big thing on everyones mind is the balance because of it's predessecors balance problems. However because of DLC we can at least breath slightly easier because they will be able to do a free patch to fix that stuff up hopefully. And i do agree that MvC3 is a very diffrent style of game from SSF4, i just wanted to put those rankings to show that "middle/low tier" characters werent really that low, and are still viable for gameplay(Look at people using sim adon and thawk in tourneys and kicking ass).
Was hoping for el fuerte.But Shehulk is right down my alley. I hope they put in more street fighter characters.Still waiting for my dream team-Spiderman-El Fuerte-and that french military officer from onimusha demon seige 3. Thank god for DLC.
MvC3 is looking great.
