meh i dont like the realistic style they did here. the graphics are cartoons and the artwork should be cartoons. doesnt look right to me.
I really don't want to say anything negative since the artist did a really good job but I think they should have stuck with the fake comic book cover to keep with the game's theme. It's still a really nice poster though.

Hopefully this is just a stupid gamestop poster and not the actual cover because if so this straight up garbage. The artwork is terrible in comparison to the Shinkiro cover. I hope whoever payed to have this thing done didn't pay to much money cause I would pay a penny for it.

the thing that bugs is why do most western artists always draw ryu looking caucasian?
The poster is okay and all but it isn't anything fancy. I'll still preorder the game regardless.
I saw this in Game Informer this week and I'm pretty disappointed with this artwork :(. I second what everyone else is saying, the faces look awful T_T.
it's a pretty western drawn style. Obviously the marvel side looks OK because they are Marvel. Their faces are all covered by masks except Hulk who doesn't really resemble a normal human face anyways, so its alright. The anime characters that were created in that style on the capcom don't look true because they've never been drawn like that. I still dont like it though. I feel like chun li looks white. Plus the game is in a cartoon style... so they either wanted to try something completely new or got some western dude to just "appeal" to western gamestop audiences (didn't work)

I really don't like this at all... mostly because all the faces makes me cringe, but who am I to say.
Looks pretty nice.. Sucks that everyone at gamestop is such an ass that even if they could, they wont hook you up with a poster of this.

No offense, but this looks like a piece of s**t. Pure crapness... I'm so disapointed, I mean, What the hell? V. Joe looks creepy as hell and the Hulk looks like he is taking a crap lol.

@33: Adi Granov is an accomplished comic artist who designed the suits for the Iron Man movies.
He has accomplished more than some of you neckbeards will ever manage to in your lifetimes.

Wolverine and Iron man look the best to me,but its all good.i can see why some people might not like it, thats just his art style,many different artist have been hired to produce art for this game,if u dont like it make your own mvc3 art oh wait,haters are born without the ability to think or create art,thats why they will always be just a hater:P.I want a poster of this, @39 I aggree.
I don't know what is wrong with you guys, I think this is awesome... It brings back memories of when I used to collect comic cards. You guys are to damn nit picky. I think this is beautiful.

Kinda reminds me of the old Marvel Masterpiece cards. But the handling of the Capcom side just looks off. The older artwork looks a lot better thus far.
If anybody here is over the age of 15, you can remember the old school art on arcade cabinets. They were drawn sorta realistic in a way, SNK was famous for this. This kinda art brings back those awesome memories for me.
The poster is lame as hell... Im sorry but it doesnt "pop." A serious look would look fine, but not some lame ass illustration. I'll be a negative nancy but I am also an illustrator professionally. This poster is really disappointing. It doesnt tell a story or anything. It just has characters on the page... -sigh- I don't think people care anymore...
The artwork is horrible, I am sorry to whoever designed this.
1. Hulk looks? I don't know, When I saw "The Incredible Hulk" movie in 2008, it did not look anything like that.
2. Ryu looks very different then he does in Street Fighter 4. Very bad for me, I like Street Fighter 4 look much better. Also his walking stance is horrible in MvC3.
3. Chun-Li looks like a dude. >.>
The rest of the cast looks pretty neat. Wish they would rework Ryu, though, at least.

It's really irritating seeing all these people bash this. I can appreciate something like this. it just brings out an old school feel that I really enjoy.
No Storm.....you gotta have storm in a Marvel poster! We all know she's gonna be in it..they just stallin' cause they don't want everybody to dismiss all the other possibilities of character match-ups...not to mention Magneto or Cable..
Either way...its irrelevant. Gotta put storm in the pic or don't make the pic..its simple.
