Not that I wasn't paying attention to the combos, but Alpha has some pretty cool stages.

I never played any of the Alpha series, so yeah o_o

Instead of begging for Charlie to be put in SSF4, why not just beg for a PC version so someone can make a Charlie re-skin for Guile?

I just asked my wife (Japanese) if it's possible for a dude to be named Keiko, and she said No. So is it possible that these combos were performed by a chick? Can someone confirm this if they know this Keiko individual?? I just checked out Keiko's Youtube channel, and...well...it's pretty girly. Nothing in their profile suggests otherwise. Another Kayo Police maybe? Is the SF community turning into a remake of "the crying game"??

Yes u can,i played alpha 2 on zsnes(snes emulator) ..try holding two or 3 buttons for super of higher level or use buttons of diff strenghts(alpha 3)

it's clear that if charlie makes it in ssf4 he will differ from guile I forgot charlie had a medium kick crossup I do remember his dash being faster though u guys do the math.

Sweet video, I can't wait for Charlie to make his grand reappearance to Street Fighter.

Also, the stages in Alpha 2 are awesome.

In Alpha 1 and 2 pressing 1 button at the end of the motion does a level one Super

2 buttons at the end of a motion does level 2 Super

and 3 buttons at the end does level 3 Super

charlie/nash vs. guile
1 handed sonic boom vs. 2 handed sonic boom
reverse flash kick vs. flash kick
hair vs. hair

...who do think is much better!?!? lol

some of those combos are very hard to do and the jab links are character specific.

anyway Alpha2 is my favorite Street Fighter.. it's more traditional compared to Alpha3 and is faaar more balanced.

you should give it a try on GGPO.

loved sfa backgrounds. especially alpha 2. street fighter games always have fantastic backgrounds tho...

favs from alpha 2 would b sakura, with the kid in the house playing the game and the guy in the window watching the fight.

@DarkSamus Believe me, there is a huge difference between Guile and Charlie, starting from the way they each perform a Sonic Boom or a Flash Kick. So just making a skin of Charlie from Guile in a PC version would not do him justice. Both are great characters who take some type of skill to play with, but I always preferred Charlie over Guile.

I refuse to call it Alpha 2. I call it Zero 2 because

1. Japan is superior to America in every way

2. We should all be speaking Japanese like REAL cool people do.

@12: I don't know Keiko, but if anything, you should google up "Keiko name meaning." Keiko is definitely a girl's name for Japanese girls. Plus with the way that her background on Youtube is, is more than likely another strong hint that this person is really a girl/woman playing this game.

i remember charlie can combo his kicks in to the sonic boom and somersault i do remember that charlie its almost impossible to combo after a sonic boom in order to play with him u have to be aggressive alot better than guile just hope that hi will make it to ssf4
