1Up.com is reporting that Capcom Japan has suspended the sale of some Super Street Fighter 4 costume packs on Xbox Live until November 16, 2010.I was about to tip you on this haha. I've been trying to download the catalog for the last couple of days, but could never start the download. Tried today, and it was missing.
Does the other player have to buy the same pack in order to see the costume when I choose them? It's weird because I have the shoryuken Pack on PSN and my friends could not see the costumes? is this new?
@Catalyst thanks for the clarification. i will let my friends know that. i think it sucks for the way they went about it :-( What's the point of buying a guile or cody costume if my friend only main ryu or sagat? so you are saying SSF4 are you referring to the new packs the Ultra ones? I dont remember that being the case for last pack that was releases (not the Ultra ones)
I just checked Xbox live, it's taken down on the US market as well.
@gameplan I agree they had better fix this before Nov,16 i've been waiting for too long to get my hands on alpha Chun li I WILL NOT BE DENIED!
@8 Hrm
I completely agree with you. I bought them because I want to show them off not to for my personal pleasure (well yeah) but they are worthless if not everyone can see them
Is this a XBOX 360 problem? Can PS3 users see the costumes even though they didn't buy it?
@14: The Ultra Costume Catalog DLC thing isn't available for PS3 players, so ultimately the costumes I shelled out for are useless until they make the DLC costumes part of an update or something so EVERYONE can see them, regardless of whether they bought it or not.
I mean, I even feel bad when I fight people and I can't view the costumes they're using because I haven't bought it.
#8 R U serious? other people cant even see them? thats lame.
"Yet Another Reason why Xbox is the Dominant Console!"
Sorry, but its a fact. If PSN doesn't do something about their system, They are friggin FUDGED!
@IMainDanHibiki
The same could be said about Xbox live, they've taken down the option to download them completely, and another fighter called Blazblue hasn't gotta the dlc for Valk. Both have errors but at least for the ps3, I can use the money that I'd be spening on the Live service for stuff like costumes, and download content.
Mainly just don't knock the ps3, I've had 3 Xbox 360's got two red ring of death, and the other one scratched my discs before I got fed up with it. And having both, I can't really tell the difference between the two online, just 360 has cross game chat o-o I just wish it was more reliable.
@BloodyNights
Yes, I know it seems a little Biased, But I haven't had a single good experience for my PS3, (Which is why I sold it) And I was quoting from another rant article by a friend of mine about how much the PS3 sucks. It isn't really as bad as it seems, but people say "PS3 has better graphics!" XBox doesn't even have Blu-Ray discs and it has the exact same GFX capabilities as the PS3. "PS3 has more reliable billing and add-ons etc etc." This is the only statement I agree with, as XBox has problems accepting my **** credit card when I buy stuff (The PS3 didn't) and finally, the golden statement (or rather the rusty blade that gave PS3 the Crown in this argument,) "PS3 has a much better community than XBox, all you get is little kids on Halo and Modern Warfare who get made when you beat the snot out of em."
I'm really not trying to start a flame war here, I am merely stating that out of the fact, PS3 IN MY EYES! Is the inferior console, however, everyone has their own opinions. Anyways... Who want's Cookies?
That stinks, hope they fix it soon for those who weren't able to purchase.
