Capcom's Yoshinori Ono and Christian Svensson made a few posts recently. First off, Ono mentions that there was a problem discovered with Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition and that it may miss its mid-December release date.Ono: Wow, we have found a big problem [with] SSFIV AE today!! We should correct it. Will I make it in time?
Oh no, not like Gran Turismo 5, please Ono...
Ono: Hahaha, no problem! We can work it out!! ;P
Today [in the] evening [in Japan], the Official SSFIV's blog will announce [a new] delivery schedule [for] DLC costumes!! Everyone's [feedback] was carried to us!! ;D
Will Street Fighter III: Online Edition include new content?
Svensson: You'll find out... next year (which, since we're in November, isn't THAT far away). ;)
Unfortunately, we're not yet talking about the features or content of the game, as excited as I am about it. I'm going to have to keep you in suspense a bit longer.
Again, if I'd had my way, you wouldn't know about this title yet, so the suspense wouldn't be killing you just yet, but alas, we announced it just as the project was starting.
So how is 3rd Strike Online coming along? Any news for us yet?
Ono: It's being produced now.
[Editor's note: Ono is saying the game has just started being developed.]
America deserves SSFIV AE too, it's unfair if we don't get DLC, there are no arcades!
Ono: I understand it. Could be, wait [there's] news.
[Editor's note: Earlier Ono all but confirmed DLC for the console versions of SSF4, so fans should be able to rest easy on this subject.]
Please rescue the Street Fighter 1 characters in Street Fighter vs. Tekken.
Ono: I'm getting a lot of requests. I think variously. ;)

sf3 had the mvc2 thing going against it. only a handful of the cast members were playable at a tournament level and while you saw people sneak in with chars like hugo alex and ibuki they were soon eliminated and usually only the top 8 characters in third strike got any kind of meaningful playing time. of those top 8 only 4 of them were played frequently... and you rarely saw the others.
sf3 is a good game with major problems and it needs a rebalancing.
dont change anything in the game (3rd strike)
the game is fine and one the most balanced street fighter ,i truly believe that tier list is a fantaqsy made by scrubs to justify their scrubness.i mean look at high level play and mid level, nobody complain about OP caracters, its by know your opponent option you can even beat him with the commentator ..lol
example i was sucking at sf4 because of sagat ,now i know his options its the guy i like most to play against, the guy i hate el fuerte because i dont know his wake up options nor his traps.
again just an opinion
no fear
ssf4 2 or 4 new caracters
3rd strike no tweak just network
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFhFLp... GO KARIN FOR SSFIV-AE! <3 <3
3rd strike shouldn't be touched. It would be too expensive and would ruin a lot of its fun.
I have no particular love for anyone in the SF cast, I just love the fighting system. I have a large part in my heart for the Tekken cast though, especially King... so adding characters I love to a system I love is just the best thing ever... they can add all the SF1 characters they want, and even Poison. Half the cast being from Tekken is what's important ;).
Hey guys, the reason the Costumes are going to be released all at once is because there is a problem with the costume packs not being visible by the players that haven't purchased the costume packs. This is because the new costume packs must be downloaded to the system in order to be seen (hence the 50mb) download. This means a patch will have all the costumes downloaded and you'll still have to pay for it, but now allows you to see the new costumes (if you haven't purchased it).

So turtling isnt super easy in sf3 so u dont like it? U must hate turbo, marvel.. well all the other sf games. Cvs2 was a turtle fest but it still wasnt as bad as 4.
I really wondered what could have went wrong. Maybe they found some crazy bug with the new characters or with changes to the current cast. Capcom, balance UP, there aint any characters in the game that need super hard nerfs, tiny frame changes, nothing else.
Playin SF3's not exactly user friendly. Don't get me wrong its fun, but it felt impossible to master the parry mechanic (for me at least). I used to pop it in when my friends came over & have a good time. Still I'm lookin foward to gettin this game & playin it online (though I know parrying online's gonna seem real hard for vets). All in all, I'm a defensive player. So this is gonna be a real challenge for me.
Uh, MALDA, in what world are Tekken characters "flamboyant"? Are we even playing or know of the same game here?
Tekken's characters are more "cool" badass type characters. Save for Lee Chaolan and Leo (who's a female in Japanese canon). But that's Lee.
Hey, Vega's a narcissistic psycho, who some people write him off as gay because he's vain, which couldn't be farther from the truth, but does that make Street Fighter characters as a whole"gay" or flamboyant?
Yeah, don't generalize or else you end up looking like an idiot.
If any game has "flamboyant" characters, that would be King of Fighters but, surely not ALL of them. Hell, not even half.
For every Iori there's a Terry Bogard, Andy, and Joe Higashi.
For every Ash Crimson there's a Kim Kaphwan, Ralf, and Clark.
For every Duo Lon there's a Raiden, Ryo, and Roberto.
For every Benimaru there's a Maxima, Goro, Kensou, Chin, Hwa Jai, and Takuma.
If your grasping at straws then because Shen Woo wears a magenta shirt then he must be flamboyant too, and you probably think Kyo and K' would be flamboyant too because their young, by that "logic".
K' looks like a biker with platinum hair. Kyo looks like an everyday guy, especially nowadays with his jeans and leather jacket look.
Anyways, on topic here. I hope they don't fark with SF3 too much, that'd ruin it. Sure it's not for everybody, but III has always been an acquired taste and honestly targeted at the more technical and "hardcore" fighting game fans. Which, is more of why it didn't do too well, it wasn't masher or spammer friendly. The system's really deep in comparison to IV, but oh noes, flame shield ready. lol
Can't argue facts though.
As for SFxTekken, Geki seems to be the most requested character from SF1. How he'd fight in my opinion seems like Vega and Ibuki mixed. Who he'd rival? Yoshimitsu seems like a safe bet if not then Raven or Kunimitsu (with a new moveset).
@thesixthsense
i agree with you completely SF3 Was way more difficult and wasn't scrub friendly I.E. Mashing Jabbing all day. you really had to use your head in this game and all the characters add a chance against the top tiers low tiers just need to parry more often
I wonder if the problem was back-dashing being invincible at first then considered airborn, seems like that could cause some messed up situations. Or maybe someone had an infinite again.
Wonder if they found another fei long infinite... seems to be becoming a tradition is all...
i knew it scrub hate sf3 why?just because it is difficult to master the parry system.
imagine your low on energy and the gyu a super the only thing you can do is parrying .
also its flashy ,try to FADC chun lis ultra on sf4.
is sf3 online has to come again it doesnt have to be noob friendly .scrub need to train more .
@22
its you the scrub .
I'll tell ya whats wrong with Arcade Edition SSF4..... Theres no ELENA!! lol..... yet...... I only hope that they are NOT going to release Arcade Edition as another disc... I know they said they wouldnt, but come one now, lets face facts.... Capcom has a reputation for re-releasing their games OVER and OVER again.
It's much like that damn Nintendo DS...... I mean seriously, how many iterations do we need? Ugh, I will give capcom the benefit of the doubt, but IF this turns out to be ANOTHER disc.... Sorry Capcom... You may get my money twice, but not 3 times.
@#1
Say Hi to Makoto and Dudley.
inb4youragequitvsagoodyang.
Eh the problem was probably an infinite loop for a few characters, or something that made the machine crash. Meh, as long as they fix it... and bring it out in the US, we'll be set.
@17 Jerry: He's probably talking about how easy it was to parry fireballs in 3rd strike. Turtling meant practically giving your opponents free super. I miss those days...
Who's the troll who keeps asking for SF1 stuff...?
There's nothing memorable on it, apart of the birth of Ken, Gen, Eagle and Sagat...
I name just those four, because we all know that Ryu, Birdie and Adon ARE NOT the same characters now.
Visually they could pass for six guys, instead of three...
I sure hope the additions to 3rd Strike are some balance tweaks... Otherwise I guess I better get used to the Chun Yun Ken armies.
