The Ultra Shoryuken costume pack for Super Street Fighter 4 was released today. HD screen captures were taken of each of the character's new outfits.

Interesting... lots of doo-rags and hoods. Damn Capcom and their marketing scheme to release them in increments. I'd rather just buy them at once, but I have to wait almost a year, psh.

Dan's is actually his Dad Go Hibiki's outfit. Just to fill you in on some history, Go Hibiki is the reason Sagat only has one eye. After the battle though Sagat killed Go and Dan swore revenge! His costume is nostalgic!
so does dans mask just sit on the side of his head the whole time or does it come on during the fight? it would look pretty dumb to just have it covering half his head.
Dan's is really just sad, you are making someone pay for a mask on the side of his face.
Honestly I don't like any of these. Akuma is the only decent one. Dan... wtf?
Why can't they make a cool looking costume for Ryu. His 1st three al look the same now he is a pirate. well whatever Ken has an awesome one.
jesus christ, all of dan alt.costumes suck and yet this is the lamest costume ever made for him and it's still the best one.
Akuma, I'm not too sure about his outfit, mainly looks like he was some fallen monk, and he got his clothes all torn up, and got pwned by Gen somewhere along the line. lol I probably won't use it over his second alt.
Dan, Well... they should have atleast put it on his face, personally I don't like any of his alt costumes really. You'd think being the joke character they'd give him some really lulzy outfits. But I guess they don't care about the awesomeness that is Dan.
Gouken, look another Raiden outfit... nuff said.
Ken, love the hair, the T.shirt looking thing... but the friggin shorts need to leave, give him some Jeans or something. Also this Alt would be friggin Epic, if you could use that hair, in his default uniform.
Ryu, I wouldn't bitch to much about this costume, it looks so Gangsta! He the Japanese MC, now you can troll while you shooting off Hadoukens, and when they jump over it you can be all Shoryuken's and shiz. So epic dawg. If you want to be srs, then use Ryu's first alt, this one is just to be gangsta and to troll yo.
All in all, they could have done better, imo but hey they ain't that bad, except for Dan lol Though personally I'd like to see Ken wear a suit, but that would probably look weird in this game o-o

Akunma's is cool he reminds me of Zasalamel from soul calibur 3 and 4!
Ken's sucks they could have given him the clothes he was wearing in the SF2 anime in 94 when he was abducted by Bison!

Some just don't seem worth it for me. Dan's in particular. It's his standard outfit with a mask of his dad awkwardly positioned on the side of his face. WTF?!

A t, jeans, and shoes. Simple but would be awesome, sigh.
Ken's looks pretty good I think, fits his character. Gouken's is meh, not bad but not all that greater either. Though I think it's more good than worse.
The rest don't really speak to me, Akuma's could use more personality. But it seems dark and mysterious, so it's not THAT bad.
Gouken's is terrible.
Dan's is a joke.
Ryu's is meh.
Akuma's is ok, but I think he looks like a nun.
Ken's is the only good one.
This costume set isn't as good as the last one, but still better than the first one from vanilla SF4
Gouken's is simply awful, Akuma's is very cool, Ryu's looks pretty badass, Dan's.... could be better... and I am in love with Ken's.
only gouken's alt is even worth thinking about getting. Btw, dan's alt reminds me of yuri alt from kof 2006. Also one of dan's victory poses imitates one of yuri's winning pose. I know dan is a joke character making fun of snk characters ryo and robert garcia, but i guess you can add yuri to the mix as well (explains the pink clothes, maybe). I'm not a big kof fan (street fighter's way better), just making some observations.

Gouken looks awful, christmas like almost, feeling Akuma tho, Dan's awful too, Ken looks...you know, and Ryu, who i main, looks OK, although i am probably only saying that as he's my main. :S
all the bottom right screen shot colors look the best lol.
akuma's outfit would have been even better with him showing off some leg... lol, but it's still cool.
ken's doesn't look as good as i thought it would... but it's still good. MUCH BETTER than that broke-back crap. i swear when i'd face a person using that alt, it made me work even harder not to lose to them lol.
ryu looks cool in black... not bad.

Aside from that, even Dan knows his view is limited with he mask on (And new physics maybe?)So it might be best that there is no mask in face. (Sure doesn't look like you can see out of it.
So, if I had the game, I'd immediately main Dan, And use his white color, costume 4.
As crazy as this sounds, I main Dan, and I have all of his alternates. I'ms ad to say I do not want to get his newest one. For one, who the heel thinks that people want to see Dan with a mask hanging on this face! I know it's a reference to Go Hibiki/Mr. Karate but he should be wearing the mask instead. Another thing I don't like is that he's wearing his regular gi. Mix it up for god's sake! Maybe give him a ripped uniform, or maybe no shirt like Ryu's 1st alternative costume. Capcom is getting lazy, but besides Dan's disappointing costume, Akuma's and Gouken's looks pretty sweet. I like how Capcom brought back Ken's long hair for his new alt., and Ryu looks like a badass pirate. But why couldn't Dan get an awesome costume too?
