Capcom's Yoshinori Ono may have singled out a cast member or two that will be added to the Arcade Edition of Super Street Fighter 4 in a recent Twitter post.Capcom neglected Hugo, Alex, Elena, Karin, Poison and Rolento in SSF4! Please put them in Street Fighter X Tekken.

the gold disc of SSF4 arcade edition has been sent out and is in mass production right now. yet he continues to tease us "were still implementing yun and yangs alt costumes"

If the dolls are announced before any of those characters (except for Poison, who is just a fad) it will be a serious ignoring of the community. New characters are great, but new characters we actually want is better. I hope they start with those... mainly Elena.

Well, Ono did dress up as Chun-Li at that German game expo some time ago, which might confirm others' suspicions that it's actually Chun-Li in that picture. I hope not though.
And the main people whining for this character and that character will be the first ones to drop said character as soon as they're considered anything below high tier.
why does everyone say rolento was deconfirmed? where is this source? i thought it was a rumor.
but i think its obvious that its not chun li (even though that was probable, too) but here is what i think:
40% - Chun-Li (or Yang)
30% - Alex
30% - Urien
Too be brutally honest, I love hearing about SSF4 AE but im not actually excited for it. New buffs/nerfs that make me annoyed, no new stages, mediocre choice of twins, etc. I really only want Rolento, any other characters besides Poison and Ingrid is fine by me, but its whatever. Im still going to get the update, cost or no cost.
I hope Karin makes it. I'm been such a huge supporter for her via Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube. I've even gotten a reply from Ono about a picture I made of him and Karin ( http://twitpic.com/2r03fn ). And about Ono, he's a great man regardless of what you guys say. A pure genius, in my opinion. Sure, he's slapping us in the face right now, but that's his job - to make his presence known and his fans guessing.

@21 Ono doesn't do that. Whoever translates his responses adds those on so that it makes sense grammatically in English.
Screw Alex! although I do believe he will be put into the game, honestly all I care about is Hugo! and from what I hear about the changes they are making to Seth it seems to me that he is going to be more like Urien, so i doubt he will be in the game. I believe these are the 4 DLC characters we will see

^True that i remember all those people asking for guy,makoto and dudley and all 3 of them don't get picked much. I see some pro dudley's though and makoto gets picked by justice but the point still remains that if their low tier they will be left to die by fake fans.

just sayin, losing my patience especaily with capcom, but i still love them through past games including new ones though.
remember Ono's amazing English skills. I believe in his post regarding leaving capcom, he is saying that he will leave when he is no longer needed (i.e. fired)
and keeping my likes aside, I really think Alex and Hugo would overlap with existing grapplers. Karin, Rolento and Sodom would be great additions to the rooster, but all the others asked are too... overlapping LOL

I may not know much but I would just assume it is because charge characters... Well from what I have seen are more defensive based? I mean I know its not always that way but many of them are more in that direction but like I said before.. Just my opinion.

To differentiate SF2 from the rest of the fighters out in the arcade market, it was new, strategic, and really brought something new to the table. Now there's even rushdown charge characters and they exist in basically everywhere. Charge characters kept the games from being stale, since alot of the special moves would be too similar if they were all motion.

they're gonna add hugo urien and alex i bet, but i'd rather see elena sean and alex. urien's anti air normals are gonna be insane in sf4..i can already see how annoying he's gonna be. as long as they add elena and alex, i'm good, if not..i'm migrating back to 3s and probably will say farewell to sf4.
I don't think Hugo will be added. Since one of the stages has him standing in the background with the other construction workers. I mean how weird would it be to see yourself on the other side of the level? lol

Also, about the Dhalsim image, I feel like either it's Chun Li, otherwise we can't say for sure. However, I was a little bored yesterday and MS Painted some outlines of Rolento and Yang over the flamed silhouette. :P Even though I don't necessarily think it's either of those two.

I seriously doubt Charlie is alive. Bison has said (In Guile's Rival Match) that Charlie died in some way or fashion related to Shadaloo (Bison, look at Alpha 3 Charlie's ending.)

the storyline for hugo wouldnt even be a bit interesting... his blank expression tells no strory of where he came from... he looks like he doesnt know what he's fighting for. leave hugo for 3rd strike online if ur true fan u would play with him there.. a better storyline would be charlie because bison thinks hes dead so he comes back to avenge his

If the rumour about there being only two more fighters is true,I would say Alex and Hugo since their Hulk Hogan/André the Giant rivalry would make their positions (at opposite ends of the character select) make sense, like the way Yun and Yang are at opposite ends.
Everyone deep down inside wants Alex to come out I mean just face it, look at him... He's Badass and looks like he is ready to pone somebody. plus he is not like able at all DAMNIT he is a charge, fire ball motion, half circle motion and 360 character. DONT KNOW ANY OTHER CHARACTER LIKE THAT.......

in 3rd strike thats a different game! i played 3rd strike maybe a few times and i would still like to try her as many ppl do. she's a fun character thats why ppl would play her in ssf4. So would charlie and alex they're normal characters with street fighting moves! we already have a few wierd looking characters like hakan, and rufus we could do without hugo or urien.. that is why there makin 3rd strike online.. so u could cheese when that comes out. only characters left that deserves a spot is alex and elena.
Poison is not a "fad". Poison has been a recognizable character for years. Dudley was a freakin' fad.
And Hugo was already deconfirmed by Ono because of the fact he's just a background character, similar to how they ruled out Haggar and Alex because of the fact they're costumes.
