I wish Dan was wearing the mask properly. Otherwise, looks good! I don't actually play any of these characters, so I won't be picking it up, but I'll look forward to seeing them online.
Also delicious #5 capcom-rage-tears just satisfies my abyssal hunger.

It's pretty simple really. If you don't like, you don't buy! How's that for simple logic? I will be buying though. Why? Because I like Street Fighter and have done for many years. Also, the alternate costumes look great! If you're on here moaning, may I suggest you get back on MW2. It's where you belong.

Dan is joke character to make fun of SNK. Dan is basically a mix between Ryo Sakazaki and Robert Garcia (Art of fighting). Dan's fireball is Robert and Ryo's fireball, they don't go far. Same thing for Dan's Tatsumaki. Even Dan's pony tail is here to make him looks like Robert.
Dan's Ultra 2 is like Takuma's "Haoh Shoukou Ken" (Art of fighting). And Finally, Dan's mask is the mask that Takuma wears back in Art of Fighting.
If I'm correct Takuma is Ryo and Robert master or father of one of them (can't remember). So Dan's character has Ryo, Robert, and Takuma's physical characteristics.

I thought I should add that Dan's also dressed as his father Go Hibiki aa he is seen in Super Gem Fighter ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESBBy4... around the 3:43 mark) who in himself is a joke on Takuma/Mr. Karate from Art Of Fighting. So yeah Dan's new costume is pretty damn amazing.
@Apostian the mask on Dan's face is not inside joke but in the story, my bro told me he read each of the character's back story of ssf world. the mask represents the mask that his father would wear to keep his identity secret (read up on Y urself) and also he is the master sensi over Gouken and Akuma both of them trained under Dan's dad. Akuma learned the art of the dark hado from Dan's dad too but in order to master dark hado he had to throw his humanity away, Gouken did not like the idea to train anymore under him (he quit and later train's ryu n ken. Also Dan rebelled under his father training bc Dan also wanted to learn the dark art (forgot y he rebelled) his father then kicks him out and Dan create's his on martial art (originally Dan was not going to b a joke character). later Akuma leaves Dan's dad to train by himself to master the Art then whn he does he comes back and kills dan's dad to fight to the death bc akuma only fights to the death....anyways yeah there u go

you got it all wrong.
,gou hibiki,akuma and gouken were trained by goutetsu,and gou was killed by sagat. That alt. costume of dan is gou hibiki,gou hibiki had that green training costume and the mask.
^ Still, lol is Ryu still that good? lol what im saying? ofcourse he's still good lol. No matter how much they nerf him you ^ wont beat any good Ryu's. Evil Ryu for president lol. Also, @ 5 your energy is very refreshing XD. I have spoken.
(Lol, Dan's father knew the dark hado before Akuma...put a smile on my face. Wonder if he knew the DARK GADO as well!)
If they actually improve Dan as a legit shoto character with tournament caliber moveset along with the costume he is wearing now then I will definitely be using him. C'mon Capcom why do you have to keep Dan a joke character up to now... this has to end.

Juri can FADC into her Ultra. Not to mention she can single dive kick (no EX) into her ultra, as well as the ex dive kick into ultra. My favorite is jump MP (hit with MP on way up) ex dive> ultra 2. Juri is amazing in my opinion, but she is definately a different playstyle. Can't wait for her costume.
They should have made this new pack like a flashback outfit pack becuz the majority of the chars have KEY ELEMENTS from previous games/comics. Ken(Long Hair W/ Ryu Headband tied around) Sagat (W/ Hair younger looking) Welp idc about any of these costumes. Just cant wait to play sagat with his prequal fit. Jus wish they took the patch off and scar off so that it could be b4 he fought ryu. That would have been Amazing
They should have Tetsuya Nomura design some costumes. That would be sick!
The new costume for Dan is a shame. Why ? That's because all the fans of SNK appreciate Akuma in his first time - Art of fighting - and his full covered face with the - almost - same mask. Capcom has a veryyyy specicif sense of humor and i do not appreciate it at all.
