What Street Fighter needs is another cultural stereotype. Put in an Irishman or a Scotsman! He can wear a kilt or plaid pants, and be a brawler-type character. Sort of like a mixture of Haggar/Hugo and Hakan.
He can be called O'Finley or something cheesy like that and do other ridiculous moves related to Ireland or Scotland. Like Fuerte's Guacamole Leg Throw, Tortilla Bomb, etc. etc.
This comes across as me being sarcastic, but I am totally serious.

The only thing The street fighter roster would really need is Elena, (Capoiera) and an actual Judo (Or any other takedown/counter style) user. I cant think of any other famous or interesting style that could be adapted for SSF4 after that.

1.) I vote for completely NEW CHARACTERS!
2.) Do we really need Charlie or Evil Ryu? Basically another Shoto and a Guile clone? Waste of space AND boring. Sounds like it would keep my interest for about 10 minutes.
Plus every little punk online player with gamertags like Evil420DemonKillaXXX69ChronicGangstaSepiroth#1" would want to be Evil(cliche) Ryu. Lame.
3.) If they add old characters, put in ELENA!
4.) I say hold off on SEAN until SF5. Lets see how he would work with a few years more of training and add him into the SF5 as a better character.

I'm guessing there will be a character from each non-SF2 series, so my vote goes to Q from SF3 and not-a-final-fight-character from Alpha. I know Q was supposedly low-tier before, but that could change with adjustments. Q with a focus attack? Hell. Yes.

I can see some people's argument bout DLC characters being unfair to the people who dont buy them, but who knows it could be a free DLC download kinda like a update, but one way or another if there are new characters I really would like to see Q, Alex, and Rolento they would be awesome on the SSF4 cast but i can see them bringing Charlie back considering how he is associated with guile and abels story.

The character I want to see the most is R.Mika, luckily she has a great chance of making it into the DLC roster if there actually is going to be DLC characters.
A very close second is Q, although I doubt he would be added since he doesn't have a large fan base. Getting even a little bit more information on Q would be great. (Not to mention I like his play style in third strike. Go go turtle style!)
Elena is my third most wanted character for DLC, partially because I want to see what she looks like in SSF4's engine (=P) and partially because she actually has an interesting fighting style.
I must admit I'm not a huge fan of Rolento, but if he's added I won't complain, I just won't play as him.
Also, what's with all the Evil Ryu requests? Why not some E(vi)L Fuerte requests?

I honestly say this. For Alpha series, Rolento, Karin and Mika. From SF3...to keep continuity, I would say Alex, Yun and Yang. If not the last 2, then use Sean and Urien. I think they'd make amazing additions and it'd be easy to work around their tweaks needed. Hugo...as cool as it would be, meh.
Oh, and for adding a real Final Fight character...HAGGAR!! WE WANT THE MAYOR!!

Evil chars are cool-if anyone's worried about balance, just look at how Blazblue does "Unlimited." As long as Sunburned Sakura's there. ;-)
As for new chars completely-I'm pretty happy already-filling in the missing Alpha and 3S spots would be cool though, I'm pushing for Urien the most then (Gill is probably an unrealistic expectation :-().

Of course i dont wanna see all the different forms of the same character. did you know that theres a DBZ game with like 100+ characters on the ps2 and when it first came out i was like "hey 100+ characters ALL RIGHT!!!", turns out most of them are different versions of the same damn character. Goku Sayan Saga, Goku Cell Saga, Goku Buu Saga, SSJ Goku, SSJ2 Goku, and on and on for almost ALL major characters! i returned that sh!t as faster than it came in. THAT i have a problem with cuz they could use that space for other characters. But as you put it being able to transform during battle, i have absolutely no probs with that.

Rolento is the only one I would like as an extra dlc chAracter.
Hugo would be nice but there are already enough grapplers.
R.Mika - don't really care for her much. Besides she's a grappler too.
The remaining 3rd strike characters (exception of yun/yang/elena) are too wierd for my liking, they wouldn't fit well in SSF4.

If Capcom is going to take the time to develop and balance new characters, I'm positive the vast majority of the Street Fighter community (and Capcom themselves) would rather have the effort expended on more interesting ones. If poll results (http://www.eventhubs.com/news/2008/se...) and Ono's word (http://www.eventhubs.com/news/2010/ap...) are a sign of things to come, the new character are going to be Hugo, R. Mika, and Rolento. Notice Hugo is the only character in that poll who hasn't been added yet.

Don't get me wrong, R. Mika is hot and would be amazing in 3d, but unless they did tweaking on a level I don't expect, we'd probably be seeing her about as much as Gen. She was *awful* in SFA3, her slide was literally the only thing going for her. Mark my words, if she makes it into SSFIV Hakan will have someone to look down on.
As for the whole Evil Ryu debate... in my opinion regular Ryu is more than a little bit of a Marty Stu with his squeaky clean image + significant emo cred due to his inner struggles. As such, Evil Ryu is an appealing concept in that he's a Ryu who has "fallen". He hasn't just turned to evil, he's actually lost control; he's a crazy destruction-seeker rather than merely ruthless, making him a failure compared to both Gouken and Akuma. And yet he's still a major badass, and cuts a tragic figure without even a hint of self-pity.
That said, there is color 10, PA 10 (the Akuma pose), the Satsui Ryu title, and the fact that both his Ultras are Satsui no Hadō-powered. At this point Ryu is so close to evil already that I'm not seeing much need to make it official. And we already have Shin Akuma, even though he's pretty disappointing compared to the SFA3 version which loved to use Shun Goku Satsu at exactly the moments you couldn't possibly avoid it.

Their are many characters I would love to see added but I'm not sure about Hugo, we have alot of grapplers as it is for a SF game. It could make a few grapplers useless if Hugo had his 360 grab, Anti-Air grab, his wall bounce throw for easy set ups, plus Hammer Mountain having him rush down the stage at you. Adding the Big Pink German into SF4 and kepping him balanced would be tough.

R. Mika, Rolento and Elena are shoe-ins of course. All great.
But... Hugo? Why? Really, why? There's no way his popularity is as high as those other three. Plus he's a grappler on top of that, and four of those in one Street Fighter game is kinda too many.
I'd think much more interest would be generated by including Q, considering his unique style and completely open backstory that would be exceptionally interesting to hear more about.
Hugo already has his spot in the background of the Skyscraper stage. Q for DLC!

i hope we get a balance update along with any fighters. Not to say super 4 isnt way better balance wise then regular for but some things could still use some polish. Another big thing is gonna be how much they plan on chargering if they do intend on chargeing for the dlc characters. THis could really splinter the community and i dont think it will help capcom in the long run, i mean they just brought back sf it would be ashame to lose it now.

If Capcom is going to make a DLC with new characters might as well charge for them. It's exactly the kind of thing they are used to doing.
One way to do it to install the new characters with an update patch that fixes bugs and balance. Then you'll have to pay for the new characters the same way you do for costumes.
The idea doesn't work so well for arcades though.

I don't understand why so many people are calling out for Evil Ryu, etc. As has been pointed out before, waste of a character slot... How many shotos already?
And then people claim that there are already 3 grapplers in the game? But, again, the over population of shoto's isn't mentioned... Please... No Super Shoto Fighter 4... The 3 grapplers in the game are all very different from each other, and Hugo is different again... The shoto's currently in the game, are not... Big no to Evil Ryu, big yes to Hugo!
And Remy? Seriously?! Again, serious waste of a character slot... He's obviously just a way to put a pseudo Guile into III to try and reconnect with the lost II/α fan base... Let him die with III, for the love of god! Q? Twelve?!?! The only decent character added to 3rd strike was Makoto...
R. Mika? She has strategically placed hearts on her costume and constantly grabs her own ass... I found that offensive when α3 was released, and I would find it even more offensive if Capcom included her in a game in today's day and age. And she was bottom tier... What's the point? Again, like the trash added in 3rd strike, α3 was all style over substance, except for Cody (and although I don't personally get her, I kinda get why people do like Karin).
Sorry for so much negative, just don't understand why people are calling for the characters they are... If my vote counted, I would ask for Hugo, Rolento, Sodom (Final Fight forever!), Elena, Yun/Yang and Alex.
While they're at it, fix Hakan (oiled up from start) and Makoto (able to karakusa after hyate)... Job done... And I'd love if they gave Dudley his rose utility back... Just make it a once in a match thing... That's all he needs... For the clutch! Never going to happen though :(
While i am in fantasy land, make a "Street Fighter II: arcade mode"... SSFIV arcade mode is weak and boring with a cheap final boss, whereas playing through SFII on my SNES back in the day was actually fun... Surely it can't be that hard to do? Limit to the World Warriors, make a play through with the 4 bosses (modified frame data), chargeable DLC to cover development costs... Jobs a good-un... Only missing bit of functionality is claws wall climb... As cool as that would be for a proper boss feel, just playing through the original big 4 in proper boss mode would be cool enough! Yes, there is SFII:HDR, but I just think they have all the characters in IV, so why not? (And yes, not far off the entire α2 cast either!)

God, while SSF IV has more than enough fighters already it would be awesome if more DLC characters where made available, at reasonable prices, plus 1-2 new stages (in fact i want new stages more than new characters). I think Elena would be a no brainer since she apparently just missed the cut last time around, followed by often mentioned Hugo (which i love) and Ono favorites R.Mika and Rolento..

I'd take Hugo and Alex (both popular characters and they have a rivalry, also Hugo vs Zangief is a dream match)
Elena because capoeira isn't represented yet and it's a popular style. Also her oversexualized looks would please all the pervs IF they get her model right.
And Rolento, his style is really original, he works as a villain for the two FF characters and could be the "Anti-Guile" as an evil army dude.
Karin would work too, a lot of people are asking for here. Personally I don't like her, 0 schoolgirls are enough in a fighting game for me.

Hmm i love the idea of more characters soo much. the game is already beautiful and addin more characters would make it S-Rank. as for who would make the cut, ono stated that elena just missed the cut so shes a must an that he wanted R.mika and relento in this as well. later he said if any bodyy would make it would b hugo. So far thats 4 practically confired and by looking at the lay out for the character select screen if they wer to add more characters it would probably b only 3 or mayb 6, so from the list either one wouldnt make or we need two more option. if so ive got money on alex and mayb karin. I agree with Apollo. Those characters are pretty much in the bag (Hugo, Elena, Rolento and Mika). I am a huge Alex fan and he's particularly the reason I play Abel in SF4. They have similar appearances and similar playstyles and I purely love both characters. If they threw in Alex in SF4, I'd be done.

lol i kno u probably kno this but goutetsu is dead, akuma killd him officially. as for gouken he never died, he was merely in a comma for lik ever. goukens return does make sense as in he survive raging demon by emptying his soul and wen he returnd he was able to seal off the evil intent in ryu for good along with teaching him denjin and shinsrk.

People keep on talkin' about "wasting slots". Honestly, I don't think the slots is a problem because Capcom can alter as they please. It's the characters I'm more concerned about, not to mention new stages. I wanna see classic stages! From what I've read I think the most realistic and probable are Hugo and R Mika. Maybe Rolento. Though I would also love to see the following:
Shin Akuma
E. Ryu
Remy
Charlie
Alex
Sean
Gill
Urien
and possibly a few other 3rd strikers such as necro, oro, the retard twins, and Elena.
Of course they're not going to add like 20 chars at once, it their pattern follows suit then it'll be three. But in the future I'd definitely like to see this game with an awesome roster like SFA3.

Ono pretty much said Poison isn't going to be in Street Fighter IV because people are too confused about her region-specific gender so I wouldn't count on anything more than a cameo if Hugo makes it in, but you never know.
Personally, I'm not too enthusiastic about having her as a playable character. If she is, I hope her moves aren't based on that terrible Final Fight Revenge game. She basically had a handcuff projectile that stunned for a second (like Spider-Man's Web Ball), a whip, a Shoryuken ripoff, a Shinryuken ripoff, and an Eternal Slumber/Raging Demon ripoff.

First of all, to the people complaining about Evil Ryu/Shin Akuma taking up character slots, they really wouldnt take up much space at all, its mostly just changes in move properties and their palettes. As for Charlie, he would rewuire his own model so he would take more space (still wouldnt mind him though, mebbe alive through psycho power?).
That said, I want to see Yang, Q, and Twelve. Hopefully Yang would gain a new ultra or one similar to Juri's, and Twelve would have a super jump. MK > SA2 was fun and I think SA2 would make a great ultra.

I just can't see the reasoning why some people think that they wont have the DLCs on hard drives in tournaments. Any die hard/hardcore SF fan will want the new characters if they are going to be added.
personally I would love see Karin, Elena, and Rolento. They all have interesting styles and would be very welcome in my book.

Root for your character as much as possible, don't tell anyone else that their best character is not worth having in the game. This game isn't for you alone. Besides, we have no clue how they will transition into sf4, no character has been as good or as bad as earlier games. Please, don't be a dick.
Moving on, Charlie and Birdie would be who I'd be playing. Charlie to clone-ish for you in alpha? I have doubts you actually played him extensively then, but dear lord, has it ever crossed your mind that they wouldn't add him if they intended to make him a clone? Of course they would change a lot of stuff. I could already infer that he would most definitely have his MVC2 Moonsault Slash which is already alone would extremely diversify his gameplay from an otherwise charge character. He wouldn't have the same ultras or nothing.
That said, I'm not going to throw a tantrum if someone else ends up satisfied with the DLC instead. Aren't we a community?

Twelve... nobody had mention twelve... i don't even like the character... but it would be AMAZING to see him in 3D
No more Sean/Charlie. Sean is ANOTHER shoto... not too exited about it. Charlie is DEATH. Don't force Capcom to do an asspull of Charlie. Live with that.
Yun/Yang could be nice, BUT it would leave a lot of Fei Long users to move to Yun/Yang.
Same with Alex. It could be nice, but this game is about Abel. They are similars in basics (two grapplers not too slow/big with a couple of not grappling moves). I think is not the right moment for Alex.
I would go for Twelve, Oro and Q. I don't even play those chars, but they are different and can be more interesting to see them to complete the roster.

The annoying part about reading all these post is this. The people who are spewing a million character names dont play this game from the professional aspect. We dont need more characters,...Shin's and Evils? That would once again destroy this series. All this game needs is some more character specific stages...thats it. PS: Apollo13 i KNOW that Goutetsu is dead, but storywise we were told that Gouken is dead too.. at least i dont remember capcom said "Akuma used Satsu no Hado and Gouken lapsed into a coma" .. :/ i also remember a scene where ryu and ken stood before Goukens Grave.
Anyway, Goutetsu would be way to old (like Gen or something?) and old in SF equals worthless / "gimmicky char" .. xD.
But with these whole Story of creating Bodies for Bison there is a possibility that he accepts that he will never get ryu / gouken so he reaches for the DNA of Goutetsu and clones him O.O way to sci-fi if i think about it.. xD

I agree that shins and evils of existing characters would be pretty lame, but I don't know why you'd argue with them adding Hugo, R. Mika, or anyone else. I think we're getting an EXTRA stage in the DLC this june. If you looked at the Stage selection scrn, why is there 2 "?" for random selection, one on top left, one at bottom right? all we needed is one. keeping our fingers crossed, I hope my speculation is true thought. :)

The best character capcom could add is Pre-Bison.
We all know bison steals bodies or creates new ones for his evil spirit to inhabit.
A question none of you have asked is "Who is the person that bison exists inside of right now?"
It is obvious he steals bodies, so couldnt his current body be stolen. If so...show us who this guy is!!!
He was obviously strong and agile enough for bison to take his body...hence why bison is so remarkably chisled and strong along withhis ability to move so quickly and jump so high.
So capcom. Give us Bisons original body as a character. Lets see what kind of person he was and what techniques he used.

Give him an expanded or partly changed moveset which include get rid of flash kick and replace it with a moonsault kick and give him a low and anti air version of sonic boom(think of when Rose reflects the sonic boom at an angle) and different normals

wouldn't want no dlc characters for at least a 8-12 months... too many as it is at the moment! will take me at least a year to get comfy with super eg all chars play styles and match ups
always loved rolento's play style and look same as hugo!
i main ryu so would be nice to get a evil ryu with elements of akuma maybe give ryu his vanilla dp back and nerf his health to match akuma???? give him super fireball and maybe a raging demon ultra? teleport etc only problem is there is so many people anti-shoto so some people might be pee#d off with him being added.
im all for more stages, alts, bonus stages etc more of the small things.... i got enough on my plate to learn the match up's and the tweaked chars... and there's still tourney mode to come!!!! too much all at once will make some people turn off on the game... super is real strong right now just add the tourney mode and bug patch and thats fine with me!

I don't see why people are upset about the idea of R. Mika being in SSF4. Complaining about there being more grapplers? The grapplers are probably the most unique characters in the game, in my opinion. Much more interesting than all the shotos and various other fireball characters.
Hell, there's only 6 grapplers out of 35 characters total. One more grappler wouldn't hurt anything.

@ 200 Rose died in Alpha 3. Bison died in sfII. Gen was mortally ill since alpha 2. Gouken has been "dead" as long as Charlie. Makoto is 11 in ssf4.

I know this will be lost in the shuffle, but here's my case for Oro...
Charge character!
Wasn't overpowered in III and, thus, would fit nicely in IV.
Has a lot of options like Ibuki, but none are too high in priority.
Would fit somewhere between Guile/Honda, which the game presently doesn't fill.
Is the original Shoto in the storyline (although he doesn't play like it) by being the oldest fighter in the series.
Another older character besides Gen.
Please Oro. I will make this case on every new character feed in the hopes of Capcom making it a reality. Along with present rumors, the addition of Oro would complete the game for me for the next ten years.

C'mon now, I'm surprised not one of you even mentioned a Street fighter EX characters making the jump to SSFIV. Personally, I'd love to see Garuda from SF:EX make it to SUPER as DLC. I know that he was originally petitioned by some fans to be in SSFIV but he did not make the roster. So here's hoping he makes it in this time as a DLC. Oh and add in Doctrine Dark as well from EX along with Rolento for their rival battle. And do we really need another grappler in the person of Hugo? c'mon people how many grapplers do we already have in SSFIV? More than enough. And Karin and/or R.Mika would just be too weak IMO to be even played competitively. So just add some competitive tier characters instead. In the end, it's all about BALANCE: how the new additions fit in to the general roster already in SSFIV. So including an overpowered or overly weak character is just too damn impractical.

Okay so lemme get this straight: a lot of you are hatin' on R. Mika even though she's hella unique for a grappler (for one, she's female, and one of the only previous female grapplers was Angela from Power Instinct, then Tsugumi Sendo but she came after Mika), has unique moves and a nice sense of style. Some of you even go as far as to say she's not unique (BS).
But you want characters like Shin Akuma, Evil Ryu, and people like that who are the complete antithesis of unique? And characters like Q and Twelve who are absolutely boring to use? The heck is with the SF fanbase these days? It's like they're completely adverse to anything unique anymore.

Shins and Evils may be risky but I trust Capcom to do a good job with which ever char they decide to add. Stages is a biggie too. And also it doesn't matter if you play tourney or not, the fact of the matter is that the game is being played. Capcom themselves stated that they'd like to appeal to casual players and possibly get a larger/stronger fan base.

If they do DLC for characters make it like the costume packs so I can purchase the characters I want. I dont see the benefit of the DLC unless I can purchase the characters I want. So if I dont want Hugo I dont have to pay to download him. With the current SSF4 roster how many characters do you actual play with, other than a good 5 and out of them you are probably the best with two or three of them. So until SF5 comes out and they do DLC for characters dont make us have to purchase unnecessary characters we dont like or want by including some other game fixes to make us purchase the characters as well. I see everybody has a different opinion on who they want vs. who they don't. Just honor our words Capcom. I do not want to by a character I do not play with it should be a free choice if your gonna do DLC. This is a much easier process and I am sure everyone will be please if they could download the character they want!!!!

If they charged for DLC, the game would become unbalanced because some people don't have online capabilities, or just don't want to pay more. At tournaments, they would meet these characters with absolutely no experience against them. If they want to keep the appeal, they have to give them to us for free.

@262 Capcom has always been trolling us like this for me it started in 91' when i first got the homeversion of sf2 on snes only to have multiple versions released after i got one and due to there being no internet my parents always ended up getting the wrong street fighter
Capcom wouldn't be capcom to me if they didn't try something like this look at street fighters history there's pretty much at least to versions to each series if not more

R Mika may have a shot since she's a rival for El Fuerte and Zangief
Yun and Yang because they're in Chun Li's cameo in the old and new Street Fighter
Rolento and Hugo because they go well with the bunch and rivals to Cody/Guy.

U never know. THe arcade release needs to have those new characters exclusive atleast for a couple of months and after that im pretty sure capcom wont want to splinter the communtiy but we will see. Karin is like fei long and doesn't take a lot to translate well over here like rolento also. T.hawk got better in ssf4 and its prob the best he's ever been. Besides your just one of the few who says a character sucks by how they look and not the playstyle so your word means squat. What? I have alpha 3 and play it from time to time, she wont translate well unless they do alot of changes(her counter move would prob be changed alot). And if u left it to popularity all u morons would vote for evil ryu. R.mika and rolento are gonna make it in since the producer has his heart set on it but anything after that should fill in some of the gaps. They might look to finish off the final fight characters with adding sodom along with rolento and i can see hugo makeing it in since hes already in the city background in the current verison. Birdy: cause I like Grabbler, - especially fast- and halfgrabblers like Alex or Abel. And Birdy can be fast - a little like Balrog. + He was in SF1 already.
Elena: cause she's sympatic - and had nice intros and outros in SF3. + She's from Africa - the only one of this continent with over 900 million people.
If R.Mika would be fokused more on grabs and not on so many repeating hits, there would at least be a reason to take her in. -.-

Elena was the most boring character ever. As a character, her story sucked, and her play style was omega-uber boring. She would totally suck in SSF4.
Urien, Q, and Oro all had way more interesting "stories" and were REALLY fun to play with.
Q chased children around, had cool wall bounce combos, and leveled up his D with taunting.
Urien had crazy aegis combos, in this game he should be able to charge partition only his tackle (special property for that charge move only).
and Oro was just gdlk, he fought with one arm tied behind his back, he attacked people with giant boogers, his grab super was hilarious, and standing roundhouse.. 50% stun. ossom.

Why does everyone want evil ryu or shin akuma?? There are more than enough shotos. Don't need anymore. Unless... its cyber akuma! joking.
Elena, Sodom, Rolento, R. Mika, Q, Yun/Yang, Oro and Karin. Any of those would be cool
Though, I'd really like if they stuck Skullomania in there somehow. That would be cool. But if they can get Arika EX characters then there would be too many characters they can expand on.

My Predictions
R.Mika, Alex would be top tier if they made it in the game.
Mobility + Command grabs = Mid/High tier
Elena, Rolento and Hugo I would predict as mid tier but depends.
Yun and Urien might be competitive depending on whether they can adapt to the SSF4 mechanics unlike Makoto.
If Karin makes it into the game she'll be a free win for the majority of the cast.
No DP + No wake up options + Difficult time getting in + Female stamina = Low tier/Hakan tier
Shin Akuma/Evil Ryu/Evil Ken is a bad idea. You may as well bring back Vanilla Sagat.

^you mean like fei long was which is exactly what karin plays except she has a grab. All they have to do is make her counters better as she is a counter character after all her options will come just like fei's did. It also doesn't matter if she's low tier people still play makoto and vega don't they. All she has to be is torney viable and people will be happy.

I for one really want Mika. But I also would really enjoy Rolento and Elena. And though I'm probably the only one thinking this, I'd reallu enjoy Q too. While we're at it, how about Sean, he'd be the one shoto I'd actually play, aside from Dan.

yea i still don' get why players want R. Mika she seems completely worthless and a waste of time. Rolento and elena seems to be the smart option. new game play they come from different places in the world, they are both colorful characters, both have a decent amount of comedic value (Not to much not to little) There Ultras look like they could add something spacial with out taking us over the top with ridiculous.... But who am i kidding if ono wants her in the game there will be very little to do but watch players pick her once and watch as no on plays her again on the bright side street fighter will have yet again a female dan character

My 2 cents= rolento is a good choice. Popular character. Hugo is okay. I like him anyways. But mika is a bad choice. Not very cool and not very popular or interesting.

From a marketing perspective, no matter what type of character they put in, Capcom would have to end up making them mid/high tier. Also for this reason, they'll likely try to release a fan-favorite. If they picked Juni and made her low/mid tier, they wouldn't sell near as many DLC's as if they made it Rolento/Alex/Elena and made them high/mid tier.
I expect it will be a fan-favorite and they'll end up being quite competitive, but not Sagat/Balrog tier.

Still wanna see Charlie make it back. and I already KNOW what the next smarta$$ will say "Charlie is dead." well how was it that Gouken was dead for the longest time and now we have him? How could that NOT be the case with Charlie? By now, you've probably watched enough movies and played enough games to know that the guy EVERYONE believed to be dead in fact is not.
for the other smarta$$es who wanna tell me that he's just another Guile clone, well how is it that no one is arguing the same point about Ryu and Ken? how was it that in Mortal Kombat 2 Scorpion and Sub Zero were almost duplicate cut and paste replicas, xcept for their stances and moves and YET people loved em.
Yes Charlie and Guile share the same two specials, but so do a lot of shotos, and no one is hating on them.
Although the button sequences for Charlie’s specials are the same as guiles, his moves look and feel different. Charlie’s Fk for example looks like Guiles but he flips from the back with sort of a straighter motion. His boom is thrown from one arm.
Balance him out compared to Guile, give him different super and Ultras like the Crossfire Blitz, and there you go... a great new addition to the Street Fighter roster.

If they give us three for one side of the character select screen, they have to give us another 3 for the other side of the select screen. Meaning they need to give us 6.
I'm saying...Rolento number 1 is coming, 2 is Hugo definitely, 3 is R. Mika. Those three Ono wants to add. The other 3... IDK. I want HAGGAR FINALLY, but the motherf@&*er doesn't want to add him because of fear that I'll never lose with our favorite Mayor/Wrestling Champion of the World. The other 3... The best character capcom could add is Pre-Bison.
We all know bison steals bodies or creates new ones for his evil spirit to inhabit.
A question none of you have asked is "Who is the person that bison exists inside of right now?"
It is obvious he steals bodies, so couldnt his current body be stolen. If so...show us who this guy is!!!
He was obviously strong and agile enough for bison to take his body...hence why bison is so remarkably chisled and strong along withhis ability to move so quickly and jump so high.
So capcom. Give us Bisons original body as a character. Lets see what kind of person he was and what techniques he used.

sodom - always liked his look
gouken's daughter - its always nice to bring someone hype!
if possible maybe 1 char from sf1 always nice to add history to the game

vietnamese war veteran - (sort of rambo hype no guns tho)

not sure about the bison body char hype lol
no charlie got a solid guile now
would like evil ryu but think it would upset people and leave alot of complaints

i dont understand why people are so anti shoto char's??? there the main char's that started this game??? cool if you dont like using them but dont moan about them! jeez
i hate people that moan about things! salty people!!!! ryu's got this sagat's got this rufus is cheap! bloody hell you lot sound like a bunch of 12 year old's.
i think some chars are a bit strong but not to the point you need to cry about it! the game is very balanced when played on a high level. so many top tier char's
as for charlie i doubt they will add him he's to similar to guile... and now guile's got his ultra2 and buff's wouldnt know what the difference would be between the 2 of them.
ryu ken akuma all play very different play styles and are all main char's to the game hence why on the roaster but charlie feels like a waste of a char sort of like evil ryu i main ryu so thats why i would want him but i understand adding will not please everyone.
eventhubs is such a great website but some of the people on the forum's are a joke! real scrub like!
people that state capcom need to do this or capcom are dumb etc need to just behave now and then you lot act like you lot know so much!
the only thing i would like to moan about are the smaller things like the alternative costumes or some of the new ultra animations such as akuma lol not sexy!
overall i would say capcom are back on top. vanilla was a sick game! and now super has taken it to that next level with the tweaks and new chars!
as a ryu player the only thing i would like to cry about is his anti air dp... i trade so many times i end up just blocking to be safe... sometimes! lol but im still happy it made ryu more balanced i think... now i just have to use an ex dp to be safe! overall super is sick! long live street fighter!

I think one more 3rd strike character should be added. I think Sean would fit perfect for this game. I think Alex maybe alright too but i think sean should get a spot before r.mika because i dont think there are a lot of demands for her. Sean has flare and i think thats what Cody, Guy, and Adon brought to this game and is what street fighter 4(not super)was missing. So i think a little more flare would make it perfect but i think Sean is the only character with it.
Yun and yang has it too but we already have a dive kicker lol and no one wants to see the game flooded with dive kicking.
Last thought, we already have a lot of grapplers now so i dont think we need more. Just my thoughts

to anybody intrested about goukens daughter look at street fighter alpha generations the movie, i believe her name was fuka. Here are some characters I long for.
Mika, a prettily female wrestler, will be special among a lot of muscular grapplers. Also, her own personal wrestling style differs from others.
Rolento has a variety of movements, which can make a fight hard to expect by players and worthy to enjoy by audiences.
Karin's style seems to belong other fighting games, not SF. Her colorful movements can bring SF a new fighting concept.
Moreover, Sakura talks about her, she assuredly is a good/funny rival for Sakura, too.

Everybody forgot about the remainder of the cast from SF1, as you know Yin & Yang's bros dad was on SF1. I would love to see Geki as a rival to Vega. We already know that Karin is Sakura's rival & lastly, how about Thrasher from Final Fight to be a rival to Cody... I mean why not...
