Meh, I'd say that he is lying about playing it at a friend's place, because he seems to spend extremely much time with it.
It's just a nicer way to say that he doesn't want to constantly put up with scrubs sending him friend invites/challenges.

Wait what? How would you lose your respect over something like this, and how can you accuse someone without having any kind of proof whatsoever? As far as I know, any respect for Daigo comes from his tournament plays and his influence on the fighting game community. What the hell does it matter if he plays on consoles or not on his friends account?

I have seen the name "gameinn" on PSN before. Too bad I cannot recall whether it was a name I actually played or one of the many that you briefly see "able to connect to" but then PSN giving you the rather lame excuse that you were unable to connect. But it is most likely the scenario where you connect, however; being that you are a U.S. player and they are asian, they simply choose to "kick" you.
