1Up.com is reporting that Super Street Fighter 4 sold over 250,000 copies despite the fact it was only out for a few days before the month (April) ended. http://www.vgchartz.com/weekly.php
The last figure : 379 000 ps3
262 000 Xbox 360
641 000 SSF4 sell
A bit of off topic but I own a 360, and I will admit 360 owners are primarily into shooters. I also noticed that fighting game community is not as vulgar, racist, homophobic, mysoginist, antisematic, and we dont mind playing against people from other countries.while playing Halo beta monday, a kid started yelling at this player from Poland to "go back to his country" the polish guy WAS on his country. I never experienced this on SSF4 we should be proud.
Low sales If you ask me, Street Fighter II The World Warrior did 6 Million when less people were aware of the SF series.
SF should be doing 1 Million at least first week.
Capcom fail advertising campaign?
The Fact is SF is a Major franchise, it shouldn't be doing "OK"
Smash bros brawl sold through 9 million so far, looks like this will struggle to reach 3 Million, I love SF but low sales by my own high expectations
@15 the only thing i miss from PSN is the ability to be in a voice chat outside of the game while playing. In terms of gameplay and connection there isn't anything that makes XBL superior IMO.
PSN isn't as bad as some people might think, it used to be though.

Yeah, I doubt the netcode is drastically different--probably nearly identical, just ported across both platforms. In game, I bet it uses the same base code really.
Think the only difference is that PSN has a more world wide audience and that's where people think "PSN is teh lag orz! Hurr hurr." Of course people from all over the world is gonna be more laggy than if you play people from the U.S. (pretty much 360 fanbase is mostly U.S.)
