Capcom V.P., Christian Svensson, posted a short question and answer session about Marvel vs. Capcom 3.How far into development is Marvel vs. Capcom 3? Could you throw a rough percentage at us?
Sven: Percentages of development are sort of meaningless. Let's just say there's already a lot of playable characters with full move sets, some characters with partial move sets and some that aren't yet playable.
Considering how long this game has been in development (Since Summer 2008). Have most of the characters models and move sets been applicated?
Sven: See above. Bear in mind, that in the first six months, it's not active development with a full team. It was planning and design, not full production.
How involved has Marvel been with input? I understand they've made character suggestions. Is that the limit of their involvement?
Sven: They've been actively engaged in many decisions, especially character selection, story and fan service. It's been very collaborative.
Who are your favorite characters in Marvel vs. Capcom 3?
Sven: My favorites are not yet announced.

What you are saying is irrelevant. those 2 are totally different games. Some ppl like SF more than MVCs and vice versa. Graphic does play a role but game play is the most important. For one, I'm always a SF fan, but not a MvC fan. If I have to pick between MvC3 with better graphics or SSF4(imagining they both came out together), I would gladly pick SF. I have played MvC1, 2 and the New online version but no matter how they improve it, with crazy combos, etc etc, it still can not compare to the gameplay of SF. I have download MvC2 but til this day, I have only played it less than 2 hours whereas SF4 or SSF4, I play most of the time. MvC is just not my cup of tea.

Why don't ya'll begging for 3S and CvS2 just throw in your old discs or go to a tournament. As much as I'm excited for a possible Darkstalkers & MvC 3 (hopefully not broken to all hell), I'd rather see a game without a number in the title with HD graphics as a selling point. I want new IPs. You guys need to let the past go. Bad games? Not at all but seeing how most of my PS3 collection consists of sequels, I'd like some fresh stuff.
Personally the only Capcom franchise I want finished is Mega Man X9/Legends 3.

Breath of Fire Ryu! Capcom has neglected the BoF franchise in crossovers long enough
Over on SRK they-ve been talking about how the next Game Informer is going to have an article on MvC3. Apparently in the article Deadpool and Dante are talked about (I'm not sure if tha means confirmed) and in-game screenshots are shown. That's all great however, it looks like the new Marvel has a three-button layout like in TvC. I don't regard that as being good. Not sure if its true cuz I can't find a scan but yeah, that's the rumor.
