Kind of lame that they buffed Sim when he kind of didn't really need one he was already really good against most of the top tier characters. Oh well I guess more cheese for the win. Auturo is a really good player but, there's a HUGE drop off when he uses anyone else other than Sim or Seth. Really does show how cheesy they can be.

There is also a huge drop off when someone not named Iyo or Sabin plays Dhalsim. (I've heard but never seen Filipino Champ play.)

@10 Gutter_Trash,i saw Sabin beastin' with Ryu and now you can see him beastin' with Rose, altough Rose is one of his sideprojects. But he's Seth is the real deal nowadays. Just look at how he playes with him. He incorporated many, many fighting style-s into one character. Command grab setups, hype combos, footsies, zoning, mixups... he's overall knowledge of the game is scary. You can't play with Seth well, if you're not familiar with all of the game mechanics. If you just jump back and snipe, you will be dead. He's one of the top SF players in the world right now. Can't wait for EVO.
Personally I believe unblockable setups even though there is little difficulty doing them.....some characters are more prone to them than others. Which is one reason it needs to go. For certain characters they have close to zero fighting chance. Just because it isn't impossible to win against doesn't make it right. That's what Marvel is for right?
Cheese pretty much means spamming the same move over and over, like how Sagat's fireball traps are cheese. There are even some capcom games, that awarded you with a cheese block as a round win marker. Might be where the term originated.
ALot of variety on the top 8, i hope it stays that way. I was so used to seeing atleast 3 sagats in top 8 lol. BUt its not like sagat nd ryu suck now, there still good so all of those sagat mains in regu;ar 4 have no reason to drop him for super, unless they really cant win without the easy button.
Pretty decent commentary for these, good matches too. It's cool that Rose is better now, she deserved it.

I really didnt like the announcer that wouldnt stop saying "we are the streets" it was annoying as hell but thats just my opinion other wise all those videos were really good matchups i like the Dhalsim vs Dudley and Cody vs Dudley the most, very good matches
Look at the results of this tournament, I really don't think a concrete tier list will be made for a very long time.
Many characters are now competitive. Very much so. No more silly damage from guessing on totally safe options. I haven't seen anything abusive or stupid yet. People are just playing characters to the best of their abilities.
The only thing I am curious about in terms of damage and cheese is Abel's Ultra 2, Breathless.
Cool videos, I was really excited to see how Cody at the end of the video he went all out.
LOL @ people thinking live rankings matter AT ALL. That is just a grind fest. This is the real deal.
@31 Breathless is a really intense Ultra that gives Abel some non-parryable 3s Denjin-like mindgames. In terms of damage, it is VERY rewarding, but I don't think it falls into the 'cheese' category.
It is probably worth noting that Breathless goes through a reflex sonic hurricane though.
