Capcom's Seth Killian visited the Unity Boards a little bit ago and dropped a little information on Marvel vs. Capcom 3, the Best Buy SSF4 costume code issue and a little bit more. Will everyone have their own ending in Marvel vs. Capcom 3?
Seth: Everybody gets their own endings, and the story will be "robust" for a fighting game. I can promise at least it will blow the endings in Marvel vs. Capcom 2 out of the water :P
People who purchased Super Street Fighter IV through Best Buy have had issues receiving promotional codes for their orders. Didn't you guys work with them to get this going? I got an email saying I'd get my code on May 6th.
Seth: We worked on the pre-order campaign with Best Buy and got them the download codes, but of course the "activation" part (re: "getting you your stuff") is with them. I don't know the fine print regarding their offer since I didn't have an order placed with them, but they're aware people are still in need of their codes and I was told by our channel guys (the guys that deal with retailers) they are working on it, which sounds in line with the email you were sent.
I'd tell you more if I knew anything else, but it sounds like they are fulfilling the bonus, and apologies for any confusion caused by the details of the policy. Obviously we just want people to get the game and everything they were promised.
Will we see a Tatsunoko vs. Capcom 2 on the PlayStation 3/Xbox 360? I'm worried if this game is announced it could compete with MvC3.
Seth: I think the worrying about this is a bit premature at the moment, since our "Versus" team very much has their hands full of MvC3. We were very happy to see TvC on the Wii, but there's nothing to discuss about a TvC2 right now, so let's let sleeping dogs lie for the moment, have a group hug, and smile that Capcom is still cranking on some of the best crossover games of all time. :D

I agree with you both, but not for those reasons. The Wii is a great console, but most people have sticks for the 360 and PS3 and these consoles also have more robust online systems.
See how easy it is to make an argument without resorting to name calling and petty fanboyism? You should try it.
@ 1 and 2
Still hating on wii owners because they got a game on a console that your moms could not buy for you lol. Fanboy behaviour is not cool..no one is impressed with it..you need to get cultured. Only fault I can see with the Wii that you didnt see much with the older nintendo consoles is that the third party games really suck this time around. Other than that all the nintendo classics that have been done onto the wii have been great :) Im not a wii fanboy I own a 360 and a powerful gaming PC.
Mature cultured hardcore gamer out.
I think tvc is an awkward position. The sales are probably difficult to be properly monitored. The wii only release meant that a large number of potential fans weren't going to buy it, either because they had no wii or more likely had no stick for the wii. So they have to figure out how well the game would do on a more "accepted" console for fighting games. Personally I would like to see a new one eventually. Not soon, but some time.
Being on the Wii absolutely hurt TvC the most. Even if someone got a passing interest in the game, if they didn't have a Wii or a PS2 stick/Wii stick then it was really tough.
TvC is not a bad game. Just bad platforming smacked it around. Also no arcade version means no SBO qualifiers or fun Japan shenanigans... it's just disheartening.

i agree although i personally do own a Wii, bought the game and then got bored of it soon after. It just didn't interest me after a few days, the backgrounds looked really poor on my HD TV and the fact that i don't bother with any other games on my Wii meant i usually couldn't bother with the console at all. I know i don't represent the Wii fan-base or TvC one, its just my reasoning to why i don't play it.
#14 and i will gang-r*** your ignorant a**
I'm not gonna lie, their recent, "hey the west loves Frank West!" has me pretty worried that they don't know what we like.
With around 30 characters, like someone else said above, I hope they don't waste any spots on wtf characters.
And Thor better be in this mutha f***in game!

you think the same thing might happen for Marvel VS Capcom 3
Lets advocate all current and future fighters on PC as well, MT Framework baby.
@ #22 steam. Lucky you. I ordered my SSF4 from play.com last week thursday and I'm still waiting. if I wake up tomorrow morning and check my mail box and i dont see my copy of SSF4 there not only am I going to throw a fit but i'll never order from play.com again.
I think the wii exclusive hurted TVC sales a lot, it would have sold MUCH more on the PS3 and 360, I for one would have loved to play the game but it just doesn't justify buying a wii and there are like literally four or five games worth getting on the wii anyway so I had to pass. Hope Capcom doesn't make the same mistake again.
Just in case anyone is still waiting for costume codes from Best Buy, I just received mine this morning. According to a reward zone forum mod, everyone should have the code by tomorrow.
Wii owner here got my November 19,2006
Game that are good on Wii:
Red steel 1(decent game not a killer app)
Twilight princess(again no killer app
No More Heroes(So good they ported it to the 360 and PS3)
No More Heroes 2 DESPERATE STRUGGLE
Metroid Prime 3(Play it, I found it to be so good control wise it shocked me)
TVC CGoH and UAS(great games the next in the VS series)
Manhunt 2(fun but predictable story)
Call of Duty world at war(it's got good online if your into that sorta thing)
Lit(it's a wiiware game but good however short)
Okami(the way that Okami was meant to be played)
These are games I owned but know are good cause I've played them atleast once:
Bully(playing with jimmy is best on wii)
Castlevaina Judgement(simple but good fighter)
Cave story(pick it up now it's worth it especially for the wii exclusive stuff)
Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors
Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon (fun dungeon crawler)
Rune Factory Frontier
Little King's Story
Muramasa: The Demon Blade
Opoona
Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition
Red Steel 2
Samurai Shodown Anthology
Silent Hill Shattered Memories
Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure
None of those games(beside Samurai Shodown and Castlvina Judgement) are something a casual player can beat without serious help and only about 2 you can get away with swing wildly the whole game for
I don't count any first party games in there beside Zelda(Metroid is made by Retro which is 3 party even if they have only made games for Nintendo) and most wiiware games(beside CaveStory and Lit) even with that number that's 21 titles by 3rd parties alone that's about 6 games a year(remember we're not half way into this year yet)
Who here has bought over 6 games average a year from 3rd party developers for one consoles and considered most of them good games?
It was a big fault to release tvc for wii, just casual idiots have a wii. women buy it with one game and never buy another one.
