Some say rolento will be a hidden character in SSFIV. Who knows.
this is by udon? on amazon when i pre ordered it, it said by that IGN editor. The complete history just released was an ok read, not as good as i thought though. Both must buys if you're a SF fan though!!
@ricefarmer
Agreed. He's much better than that.
The book looks very informative!
Awesome stuff right there. I ordered this along with Street Fighter: The Complete History to compliment it.
btw anyone got street fighter the eternal challengers? very hard to get hold of (for a good price)
2 things, i heard years ago that Rolento was from Cuba and as far as i remember, Blanka (Jimmy) and Dan are friends since their childhood before Blanka had the airplane accident at Brasil, i don't know if all of this book is based upon Udon story or the canon that has been established but Udon has being doing a great job putting up the story together.
Absolutely disgusting art. I'd never buy this.
If any of you think this is good, ignorance is truly bliss. If you knew anything about anatomy or the basic fundamentals of art, you'd be at least as disgusted as I am by this crap.
You don't even need to know anything to notice how bad Ryu's jaw line is in the cover; Cody with the prison stripes painted over his naked body. Rolento's deltoids ten times the size of his bicep.
I read the Dan and Rolento pages and found 2 grammar/spelling errors, really.... Not to mention some of the art is subpar, even if you like Udon's stuff.
Why the hate for UDON art? Do people not get that the characters have irregular anatomy on purpose? Its just like in the actual games how everyone's hands and feet are so much larger than their head. Its out of proportion to make the characters appear stronger than they would be if they looked like real people do. Pretty much every superhero comic ever does the exact same thing.
People, I understand cody in being "bad art" but there is also something called intrepretation. Say it with me In-ter-pre-tay-tion. Udon's art is really good, and they are good at what they do. And #16 if you went to see correct anatomy, understandable, but you made the mistake of trying to find correct anatomy, in Street Fighter.
lol #16 you mad?
Because it sounds like you just took a class down at the community center and you told the teacher "I LIKE COMICS!" and he layed into you for about 15 minutes, and you've come to a site, about video games, open interpretation, and suspending belief. Giving into wonder of the unreal.
PLEASE, no one tell him about the Tribute book.
Looks cool.
