Ryan Hart has beat his own Guinness world record recently for Street Fighter 4. Here's a blurb from the press release.
On Saturday 27th March, the Official European Street Fighter IV Champion, Ryan Hart took on 169 challengers in 4 hours and beat every one of them, smashing the previous record by 61 for the record title Longest winning streak on Street Fighter IV.
The atmosphere in the store was tense; crowds came and watched as Ryan picked off his opponents one by one.
Apparently, Justin Wong taking out 300 consecutive opponents at the 2009 E3 show wasn't recorded into the Guinness World Records for some reason.
all due respect to wat justin wong did but he can suk a DICK....toooooooooo cocky tho he Is that good....hey justin...how's that daigo?
im from the UK and the place he played in doesnt exactly have a very strong SF community. in fact i dont think it has 1 at all? it was located in a place called Hull it aint nowhere near a major city in the UK lol. all respect and credit to Ryan Hart tho he is a great player but it would have been more interesting if it was in 1 of the major cities so he could face some good competition. Always two sides to a story eh ;-)
Congrats to Ryan Hart. Well done.

Who cares.
@2 i dont think there needs to be judges just at least 5 people to witness and testify that it wasnt fake.
Ha he really did beat Daigo during Evo... http://www.eventhubs.com/news/2009/ju... Crazy... Black gamers unite! (Just joking, I don't really care what race he is. This is awesome though!)
Qurest, he beat Daigo TWICE, first time being a money match at EVO. Any more excuses?
These records are kind of dumb as it resorts to the quality of your opponents. Hey even I have a 105 game winning streak on PSN but, I know it would probably be 0-105 losses if I were to face players in Japan. I can beat my sister 1000 times in a row is that consider a record? This is Gutter Trash no offense.
I have to agree 100% with #10 and #23.
If he wants to set some kind of UK record it HAS to be done in London rather than Hull where the population actually is 169.
Secondly, the vast majority of European players suck and the chance of any good ones actually bothering to go to Hull...
He should go to Japan and see if he can even get 20 wins in a row.
They didn't say if it was 169 people who knows how to play the game or it's 169 random people passing by. I say the mass majority of them are scrubs. Also was it one round matches, three round matches or five round matches? Hell, if it's one round, anyone can do it.

Simple, if he was in Guinness' Book of world records he would hold 2 titles:
-"Worlds biggest Douche"
and
-"World's Biggest Street Fighter" (Emphasis on "Biggest"),
300 consecutive wins mean nothing when he has these 2 other great titles.
Man, the fighting game community has some haters. How many of you s--t talkers have even met Justin Wong? Probably none. Stop being so butt hurt just because he's one of the best in America. He beat more scrubs in a row, it should be his record (although I don't think it's much of a record at all in the first place).
And because I'm psychic, let me guess what the response will be: "He's the best in America but he's nothing compared to any Japanese players!". Right, get off the Japanese player's dicks like they have some serial port that plugs into the game. Everyone is beatable.
Yea lets all hate Wong. Even though he had many videos for us to watch of SSF4 but hey lets hate him.
man i see more s**t about wong and daigo on a thread that is about ryan hart. all u hatin and lovin daigo and wong u dont know s**t about street fighter except for that famous parry clip from the sound of it. there r many players in the US and Japan that fight @ their level of play. u lot need to shut the f**k up and go practise or just quit whining like lil bitch*s full stop.
@32 omg that competition...
if i was playing and people kept jumping in on my sagat i think i couldve got 169 wins too XD
micronukex apparently has a 207 win streak on XBL that reportedly included A rank players. you can some videos on youtube of it.
This title should be Justin Wong's.
