What the heck are you on about? Capcom gave both top USA and Japanese players (like Daigo) early access to the game. It's just that we haven't seen many (or any) videos posted by Japanese players. I read somewhere that a special edition DVD will contain a tournament by 8 top JP players using only new characters from SSF4.

my bad like you said they dont have vids of japan testing them out so i assumed that they never got access to it. oh well thats good to hear. if only i had access to SSF4 lol
These videos at Pax East are looking really good, and the gameplay videos of Wong delving deeper into the options of the characters is looking promising. I'm really looking forward to using Dee Jay in this game, he's gonna have some clean combos and great options to use. He'll be a real surprise, definitely better than what a lot of people will give him credit for. The Dudley train has taken off, and he looks awesome. I'll play him, but I'm gonna avoid maining him for the simple reason that he's gonna be too popular because he's so high tier with his abilities. I'll fly under the radar with Dee Jay and Guy, still gonna main Bison though for sure. He's gonna get even better in this game.

First Dee Jay is a worse Guile, now he's a better Guile. This is why I can't trust this crap until the game is out lol.

wow i never really wanted to use DeeJay until i saw that video, i guess cuz most of the ppl i saw using him didnt seem to kno what they were doing. he doesnt seem half bad for a charge character.... on another note... lol @ his adon excuses. i cant wait to get my hands on all of the new characters
why is justin such an arrogant prick....it's this type of attitude that not only will cause him to lose but also what i think seperates good players like him from greater players like Mago....i refuse to believe that he's the US champ since i haven't seen any international matches against people like Niconico Mark or Cantona...maybe that's a bit much to ask but....

Wow that vega player was garbage, but I'm glad to see Dee-Jay doesn't look as bad as everyone says he is. Is it just me or is Dudley a beast? It just seemed like Juri's health went from full to almosy nothing in no time at all.

anyway i think ibuki has lots of mix up potential, deejay is gonna be a damn sonic boom following bastard, hakan will be beat by pro baiters/zoners, dudley has a all the tools to be a top tier, adons jaguar is too much unsafe risk.

i careless about people opinion on dee jay's. That just makes it less people to mirror match. uryo viper is top 6 in Japan ( yes a Viper ). and who care's if he's a better guile it's just a opinion. that doesn't mean you gonna be sitting defensive in da corner playing Dee jay as if it was guile and another was d.j was a ryu/ken all opinions ( so for all u guile dumbasses who leaving guile for dee jay for this idea ). i'm surely gonna play dee jay alot different something called my style.

i don't know why everyone is saying that dee jay and guile r the same and then compare them in that way and say that dee jay is a better guile when they play completely differently....so many differences between the two....if those two r the same then i guess ryu and sagat are also the same right?

True, but I wasn't truly aiming for wacky I was trying to aim for the normal side of street fighter with simple designs, kinda like Elena, Ryu, Sakura, and etc. etc.
I was hoping to see good, informative footage of Hakan, and instead I just saw someone who didn't know how to play him.
I can't really blame Jwong since as far as I know he doesn't really play with grapplers(I never really followed competitive SF before so I'm not sure), and it looked like he had only touched Hakan a few times before. I guess it's the way the post was written that mislead me.

I'm glad Wong knows all the matchups and all the strengths/weaknesses of all of them, otherwise, we might have to think for ourselves.

That's kind of my opinion. I was hoping to see some good info about some characters like Hakan, considering his videos about the SF3 characters were so nice, but I ended up barely seeing anything about the characters I had interest in (Hakan, Adon). Just because he's Justin Wong doesn't mean he'll know the ins and outs of everyone, especially not before the game's out... that's apparent in the Hakan video.
And that's why I'm taking most of these pre-release reports with a grain of salt, because we won't really know anything until we get the game in our own hands.

Anyone else notice that even though the Vega player wasn't doing anything right, that Claw looks more and more like his SSFIITHDR counterpart? Not to mention that version of the character was high on the tier list...don't count out claw moving up this time..with a confirmed overhead, more damage to drop claw and mask, and signifigantly less start up on his rolling crystal, Claw looks like he's going to be moving way up...esp if there is a way to combo into that gorgeous new ultra.

I think a lot of people in forums spend too much thinking about the game and too little actually playing it. Justin is just evaluating characters the same way everyone does, from what they know. He knows what good things the 3S characters can do and he knows none of the good things Adon, Dee Jay & Hakan can do. As long as things don't change, (and they usually do) he is right. He is just like everyone else. Don't have to be so hard on him or worship him.
In the Makoto video, what does Wong say between 0:19-0:22? I can't really understand what he says =/
Yawn.......@ new characters. T.Hawk and Makoto are the only additions to SF4 I care about. Charlie would have been the only new addition I would need....thanks for nothing Crapcom.

Riding Jwongs nuts are you? DJ looks solid and Adon will just take hard work which im allways willing to dish out. Jwongs good but he's not god k. Just because he says characters will suck don't mean they will.
