G4TV.com had Seth Killian sit in front of a camera and talk about Super Street Fighter 4 for awhile, plus do another Hakan demo. You've probably seen most of this stuff before, but one of the interesting things he had to say was:
The success of [Street Fighter 4] has shaped so many of our future directions, and really energized a whole division of the company that had been sort of asleep for a long time...
While this doesn't outright state that Capcom has more fighting games up their sleeves, it very strongly hints that we'll be seeing more titles in this genre from them in the future.
i think DarkStalkers will be the next Capcom installment and i think that it will be amazing... O'YEAH!!!!!!!!!
I remember him saying that they were going to be bringing more games to the fighting genre anyway (due to the success of SF4 and the XBLA/PSN titles)...
Capcom vs SNK 3 & Marvel vs Capcom 3!!!
Please capcom make it happen , we waited years for those 2 titles!!
@#13 I don't think they CAN make CvS 3 or MvC 3, legally speaking.
If you watch the history of Capcom video series linked in another post, those deals came about due to a specific agreement to produce a specific number of games while they had the use of the licence for those characters.
Those deals are done and dusted. The companies that own the IP for SNK and Marvel aren't the same anymore, so new contract deals would need to be struck, so it's all kind of complicated.
Glad Capcom's fighting game branch feels re-invigorated, I loved getting HDR, SFIV and TvC all in such quick succession.
Looking forward to SSFIV too, but then I imagine I'll be all "Fighting game-d out" for a while.

Guess we'll just have to push Capcom to agree with SNK to make CvS3 considering SNK already said if the fans want it it can happen.
As for MvC3 , thats pretty much a miracle waiting too happen...
BUT until then we'll be on SSF4 so lets get their first :)

I would adore a 2.5D Darkstalkers. I really hope that's what Capcom gets on next. BTW Hakan is gonna be fierce.
