Capcom V.P., Christian Svensson, commented on how the Dojo Editions of Super Street Fighter have been selling so far on the Capcom Store, offered his thoughts on the arcade machine that was going to be at a canceled UK event and added a few other notes.How has the Dojo Edition of Super Street Fighter 4 been selling? Can I wait awhile before ordering it?
Sven: We may already be sold out of PlayStation 3 [Dojo Editions] (temporarily)... I believe I heard Darin say that. We're ALMOST out of Xbox 360 as well.
In both cases, we're scrambling to see if we can make a few hundred more of each. They sold out much more quickly than expected and we've done very little fanfare so far even.
In this article it says Capcom is going to have a Super Street Fighter 4 machine at a UK event, what gives?
Sven: I'm not familiar with the event so it's speculation on my part BUT if it's in the UK, I suspect it's either an original SFIV arcade unit (not Super running in it) or a PS3 hooked up in a Viewlix cab. The sticks in the Viewlix are all USB and I suspect they'll run natively on PS3, but not Xbox 360 (which has encryption).
In the past, we've run other platforms inside Viewlix cabs for demonstrations. The displays on the Viewlix cabs are very nice and the cabs themselves are VERY expensive.
Will I be able to bring my achievements and battle points from Street Fighter 4 over to Super Street Fighter 4?
Sven: Supers' leader boards are entirely different from vanilla SFIV. Everyone is starting over (which is part of the fun).
Marvel vs. Capcom 2 would have done better as a retail product, especially if it was priced at $30.
Sven: I am positive that the strategy of having Marvel vs. Capcom 2 in digital form will, in the longer term, return more profit (but not necessarily revenue) to Capcom and Marvel than it would have done at retail at $29.99. I say that based upon what we've done so far, and how the title has performed at retail in previous outtings.
You'll have to take my word for it as I can't share numbers. 8)
This kind of hard to believe...who would want all that crap that comes with it and even if its for the Dudley shirt, its not worth the price. Its a failed collection of stuff. If they gave us what the jp were getting I would glady dish out the money for it.

I'm personally pretty sick at hearing this line. It pops up everywhere. It completely discourages legitimate debate, reasoning and criticism.
Not all of us like what's in the Dojo edition, I'd rather Capcom here us out and ask us what we'd like in a special edition.

only in japan its exclusive to 360... they havent confirmed if its gonna be available for PS3 in other regions yet
