Notice both times Sag used the EX version. Maybe only the EX version is fast enough to give Honda enough time to go through it...
OMG. Im a honda player, and I know my options. So I think this is a little broken. The headbut what goes throught fireballs... I mean, I doesnt use often any of my special moves, becouse I dont need to. But that... I feel that a little too powerfull.
Whatever. Vega's ultra at 1:13:04 is really good. I'm glad to see something like that for her. Some of my rivals are main him so I need to give more power to play ageinst those guys. Its SOOOO good. :D

Bunch of casual SF players. I don't imagine it would get much better. By the way, they said it wasn't the final build they were playing. So Honda going through the fireballs, probably won't make it to the shelf. If so, that is serious BS... way too strong.

NO NO. The headbutt didn't go through normal fireball. This is the E. Honda "SF2 Championship through SSF2 Turbo" rule! IT ONLY GOES THROUGH THE LOW SAGAT TIGER. This is how E. Honda always was.
In EVERY version of Street Fighter except SF4 (and I think SF2HD) E. Honda can headbutt through low Sagat fireball. Always.
Because of this, E. Honda was the only bad matchup for Sagat. That is how it always was. Like how Blanka always had a bad matchup for Zangief. And Blanka matchup is always against Balrog and Bison.
E. Honda bad matchup is always going to be Dalshim and Guile.
Imagine this, Sagat has a bad matchup now, finally. His ORIGINAL bad matchup. It's always really only been 4-6 matchup. But still. It makes me happy even though I main both Sagat and E.Honda.
PS: If Sagat blocks the headbutt, E. Honda usually end up landing on the slow fireball. :)
Does anyone know if Makoto can follow up combo AFTER BOTH of her ultras?

YEESSS!!! I feel like bison right now. :D I really don't know that. This is the First street fighter, where I main Honda. But I hate the people who only spam with it. I mean the most of the Honda player doesn't know how to play the game. They have no idea what is the command throw mix up, the tick command throw, how can link a HK to a Houndred hand, the charge buffering, what is the zoning, or the piano key input.
They just sit back, and spam the easily punishable Sumo splash, and the headbut, and if that goes through fireballs, they doesn't need to do any other trick. So I'm glad, its something like it use to be.

At what times do they play the character themes?
I don't want to watch the bad gameplay for an hour just to hear the themes :(

That's right. I've given up relying on other people to do stuff that I expect to see in the SSF4 streams. If you need something done right, you gotta do it yourself. Come Apr 27th when the game comes out, I'm going to play that thing through the FLOOR until I've tested everything and answered all the questions that I had about the game.

I had questions about some ultras and normals. thus this video seems to give me a good sense of speed and damage. I'm just grateful to see some new footage of SSFIV.
@12 I know right! throughout that entire video after they enabled Selective BGM they manage to stay away from the characters with the themes that we want to hear. :(
Not to crap on these guys but this would have been better with people who know how to play well with every character. Still, thanks for the stream. The menus look better this time around. Let's hope the gameplay is better.
You guys are such haters! All is see is "casual this" and "Scrub that". If you are on this site your obviously a casual too. Just be thankful they streamed this a month before it came out.

These guy can't barely do a single command grab. Why do they even bother to play the grapplers? I think they manage a whole grab with Hakan, once.
Guile pokes looks just as slow as ever. He looks like he does the exact same damage. :(

BTW: If you watch the second Honda vs Sagat match (about 41 minutes in), you can see Honda clearly can't go through Sagat's high Tiger Ball. He can trade if he's close enough, usually with an EX, but he can do now in vanilla SF4.
Oh sweet. 1 whole hour of bad people playing this game. always fun to watch *rolls eyes* yet people who actually play street fighter have to sit on there a$$ for a month and wait rite? yea capcom your sooo awesome to the business nut huggers. Not even a freakin Demo for us. thanks

And, seriously, people, enough with comments like ' these guyz don't deserve to play the game cuz they suck' You suck! Video games are for amusement, to be enjoyed, for relaxing and entertainment. People who don't have life and play all day just to become PRO and show the world how great they are, are total losers. They don't enjoy the game as they should- they're just braging around how ALMIGTY they are by playing a game. Get a job, games are for entertainment.
For example, I love Street Fighter- the commic books, some of the movies, the story line, the characters and I really enjoy playing with my favourite characters after a tough day at work. It makes me relax. I don't care if I ' suck' according the PRo-s. Seriously! What the hell.
Anyways, these guyz who tested the game for more than an hour were cool and funny and I really enjoyed watching them testing new ultras and moves.

What I didn't like so much was how some matches were between old characters, old ultras, and old stages. Pretty useless.
But overall, grateful for the video and it was good to see the game in real-life action! Thanks GiantBomb.
seriously...if the headbutt thru fireball shyt is legit....then i am SOOOO HAPPY =]...maybe not thru ex but if it can bypass regular ones....imma happy man----more inspiration to play as my Honda ^-^

True--however, I noticed at one point in the video, several guys agreed they were going to play it "for, like, a year" and said they were going to keep it permanently set up on that TV and everyone should start keeping their sticks at the office.
Clearly they were enjoying the game, and also didn't think they were great at it or anything, but wanted to become better.
Overall, I was glad to get a look at people trying to learn some of the new things "cold."
So...I'm just wondering-the guys who are saying that the players are playing badly. How many of you can beat a pro at Rock Band, for example? Right now? Very little prior experience, after about a years worth of playing other completely different video games? Oh, that's right. You can't.
