I hated having to do the time attack and survival modes to unlock things.
I only care about playing other people.
all you people do talking like me me me...i want these and i want that...and you do realize there're people without internet connection or LIVE account or simply they dont like playing with self-righteous douches online right ? ...i'd choose off line experience over online anyday !
@11 although you're right about everyone talking about me me me... if people dont give their opinion, the producer's will come up with their own crap and if people don't like it, they would lose a lot of money. I personally hated the time attack mode but survival was a really good addition. I did hear that SSF4 is more of an online oriented game. DLC's main purpose is to patch the game as I doubt they'll get the balance thing down the first time.

Just as I suspected. A DLC patch makes sense instead of a publishing a brand new game. He has reiterated this point on numerous occasions, so don't be surprised if a patch comes about "re-balancing" the game in 2011.
All of you should be happy. I remember when I was a kid it seemed like it took forever to go from World Warriors to Championship Edition to Turbo and ultimately Super Street Fighter II.

New stages, music. costumes, and possibly the option for some thing like a "voices match the country they come from option" (i.e. Guile, Cody, and Dudley speak English, Fuerte and Vega speak Spanish, Ryu, Honda and Makoto speak Japanese, Rose speaks Italian, Abel has French, Hakan speaks Turkish, etc.) I'd pay at least $10 just for that. It would be the coolest thing ever.

I'd be very surprised if Capcom released any dlc that isn't already planned already (the extra modes). Capcom won't balance the game, add additional moves, or more characters. They had a chance to do that with SF4. Like most, I'd rather have SSF4, but capcom is a company that wants to make money. SF makes money - now. But they won't care after a while, as they have milked it for all its worth, and will be stuck with a game with a few top tiers like in 3s. It's already like that in sf4 at tournaments, and it will be like that in sf4 unless capcom balances after the fact. let's hope they buck the trend.

Time Attack and Survival were ok I just did'nt like how it was implementedas challagnes, especially to unlock stuff, after the first 5 it's like ok this is cool, then by the time you get to the 7th your like, wow this is boring, I haven't played through a full Arcade set in months, I just play online.
But for thosw in countries without Online play please just tell Capcom or something, im sure if you voice your opinion enough they will listen.
Noooo, not the Time Attack and Survivals... in 99% ot the game I played exactly on these ones.
i didnt really like haveing to do th time attack and survivel to get the colours but still they should of kept them in! capcom dosnt need to worry as everyon is just going to but the game anyway! hopefully they will send a patch to put cammys cannon spike back up to 140 damage!
it would have been nice if all the charicters had there own iduvidual stages and music! i understand this is ST4 not ST2 but really lets face it, it is a 3-d ST2

Yeah DLC wise I'm thinking new stages and a couple of characters and not that costumes don't get me wrong they are cool and all, but damn why do we have to pay for content to change our characters clothes. Hell a custom mode should have been added. If they do decide to add new characters I'm thinking Alex(SF3), Elena(SF3), R. Mika(SFA3), Kairi(SFEX3), & Pullum Purna(SFEX3)
I think stages , characters & costumes (to be obvious lol) is a must for capcom.
I think they might have gotton the most popular characters in but they sttill let a good amount of the fan base down by not putting their favorite characters in (ex:Alex , Yun , Hugo , Karin etc;.)
And Ono stating that their will be no further updated versions only hit that sore spot of the fan base harder.
