Official move lists for new SSF4 cast members

Official move lists for new SSF4 cast members

Screen captures showing the moves for the new Super Street Fighter 4 have surfaced, which Zerenade graciously pointed out.

Although some of the listings are in a different language, for the most part these are easy to follow.

For some reason, T. Hawk didn't get any screen captures, but you can stop by the guide for him here on EventHubs.com to see most of his moves.

I'm not too excited about the half circle neck breaker, but it's good to see Ibuki's combos in tact. I was worried the 3S characters were going to be dumbed down, but it looks like they've tried to keep them as true to the originals as possible.

lightning bolt indicates armor breaking property
blue square indicates that an EX version is available

for the language: it's german and the 2 sentence below every char mean:

*If your character facing right
*Only chosen Ultra available

Ok, this will give me a chance to say my one biff with Super. HELLO CAPCOM, what happened to the Moves lists in SF4? In SF4, all the characters moves were on one character page in the move list options. It was easy to read, understand and colorful. Here: it just text and it looks boring and is spared out on more then one page. Was it too much to ask for to at least have the characters picture next to their name?

Guy has an EX Air throw!!!! If the priority is great he maybe catching shoryukens.. But talk about bluffing and baiting with his Grab ultra. But I guess against Tanks like Gief he needs something to make them think twice about trying to close distance.

wait wait... I thought we were clear on the fact that Dee Jay wont have any mashing on the Upper, and that all you need is the Flash Kick motion, but then why is there a mash symbol after it? Did they decide to make it just like it was in Super?

Yup. Cause the number of pages on a character move list determines how good a character is. lol

In that case, Ibuki's the new Sagat because she has 11 pages rofl.

Still like Ibuki though.

Ryu probably has the shortest move list in the game and he's been consistently high tier throughout the history of SF.

Most of the time the characters with the longest move lists end up at the bottom of the tier list because they're harder to use. Look at Gen.

Do move lists list every characters command normals? I ask because Makoto has one listed (forward+HP), but in 3S she had a command normal for every button.

They changed see jays maxout to air slasher? Wtf lol. whoever said Dee jays machine gun upper was just hold down and press up and punch was thankfully wrong. its the same as it was in sf2.

hmm looks like dee jays machinne upper is charge + mash i hope is not a 5 times mash like every other mash character, mashing is for the weak fools ''mash shoryu, mash tiger knee, mash electricity, mash lighting kicks'' so dee jay cant have that sh-t in his combo list

Wow explain me why DJ should be low tier? He doesn' t have many moves, but like in SF2 he has strong normals with high priority.

Anyway we must see how he will be in SSF4, but in SF2 was pretty good.

I think the mash up button on DJs move would be a pain in the a** but I thibk it would make him safer on block and help control the number of punchs so that he doesnt get punished easy on miss.

@ 12 bibuki man your already thinking of switching 2 ibuki before u haven't even tried ssf4 guile... wait bro we just might be surprised (fingers X)with ssf4 guile.

Im not giving up on him yet.

@38 - That's what Dee Jay said in the Japanese versions of Super Turbo. i.e. he yelled "Slash!" whereas in the US, NZ and Australian releases he said "Max Out!"

I'd imagine the descriptions are perhaps tied into the region settings specific to the version of the game. For example, Akuma in the Japanese releases on consoles for SFIV is called 'Gouki', Bison 'Vega' and so on.

Thre's gonna be a price to pay for those target combos.....I wouldn't be surprised if ibuki's damage scaling ended up being the highest in the game. She's gonna be so much fun to use though.

makoto looks like crap , options the girl needs options and combos ,her ultra is garbage unless aided by her super which is retarded as it is impossible to build up a super per round unless you have a fireball and it is still too difficult.
I think these capcom idiots said to themselves that the most important thing about makoto is her super so to counter that high damaging ability they gave her no real combos and no real linkers ,her super is not a viable option per round ,her dash can be countered and even when she gets in she can't do much ,i think she has to score a lot of knock downs and look to constantly cross up on the opponents wake up.

Makoto definitely has that air kick that she can do extremely close to the ground and it is a special move. It can be spammed to build up meter. What are you talkin about? Some pro will figure something out with her and then we'll see how many people complain about her lack of options.

I really doubt Ibuki will have 850 stamina, but she looks like she's still going to be the awesome, brutal, kickass ninja girl she was before.

The only one that looks changed for the worse might be Makoto since they seemed to have removed some of her command normals.

Does anyone see any similarities between Hakan and Birdie?

Both are grapplers
Both have unusual hairstyles / mustaches
Both have a jump grab
Both wear chains
Hakan’s focus attack looks similar to birdie’s dash-headbutting attack…...

looks like ibuki will be rare online just like c viper. With c viper there either really good or just terrible and i dont think it will be different for ibuki. Hopefully the time invested in learning her will pay off and justify the challenge. But then again if ryu and company are still meat head easy and generate wins i dont see many people goin for it.

yeah you jump up in the air to build meter ,your ass will get dp or air grab or standing roundhouse or crouching roundhouse etc. till the next century ,idiots actually think the girl got anything she can spam the whole point of makoto is to get in and then get in again times 5 which is crap.
Makoto as stated will not be easy to play any character that can just spam without risk and get good benefits from doing so is a easy character to play.
Forget about her super what she needs are juggles like SAGAT and some ground combos.
