what is bison a machine? I was hoping ibukis alt would be jeans and a t shirt or something but I was never gonna switch from her original anyway. Bit disappointed at sakura tbh as well. deejay and adon looking sik... very glad got some decent characters this time, I was looking for a new character to learn in SF4, i use cam n sak... tried chun but shes solid

Some are great, some are meh. Not too shabby in general though. Dudley's, Akuma's, Juri's, Rose's, and Cody's alts are absolutely badass imo.
In fact, the only ones I'm dissapointed in is Adon's, Ryu's, Dictator's (Mecha Dictator's a neat idea I guess, but it looks pretty weird. Maybe it'll look better in a different color though...), and Sakura's (similar too her last one, and...well, she doesn't need another skimpy, fanservicey one. I can't believe I'M saying that >.>)
The rest aren't too bad...

I don't understand where people see the resemblance between Abel's alt and Solid Snake but then again,I can't remember Snake being shirtless :P.
To me,he looks like Rambo or with some more imagination a he looks somewhat like Alex.

Oh boy, they did it, they actually did it. They made Bison a cyborg. It's ok. Dee Jay is my fave, maybe because he looks like Kofi Kingston in that outfit. And Abel, Abel looks like Rambo. I kinda like it. The first time they gave us the alternate outfits in SF4, some were hit or miss with me, same thing here but I think I like the old ones better. I still however, love Mecha-Geif.

We haven't seen Sagat's yet, but I honestly couldn't care less about it. Watch him have something reminiscent of Richard Simmons.
I don't like Ibuki having schoolgirl, I like Guy's look, and Fei Long's (not shown here) is nice too.
And for the guy that made the Seiya reference, if you're going to bother typing in English, why not use the English name, "Knights of the Zodiac"? Too hard for you to habla?

Thank you for making Bison's alternate costume ugly. It just saved me some money from having to download such garbage.

I think Hakan's alternate fits in with the Street Fighter universe more than his default does.
I also like Rufus's. It's a Jiang Shi, or a Chinese "hopping vampire." That's what Hsien-Ko is.

What have they done with Me M.BISON. I should be feared not look like a plastic bloody toy. WTF Capcom? I was looking forward to the game because of my main. I am stil of course going to buy it but feel a bit put off.
Mbison has bin my main since SF2.
His alt is really cheesy and looks rushed and not much attention given.
SF4 didnt give me a stage. And i was soppose to be a boss/dictator. Not even 1 for shadaloo. for sagat/vega etc.

Abel does not look like Solid Snake what so ever. He is tacticool but not like Snake. Actually, he looks somewhat "seal" / stealth almost like what Guile's new alternative costume is.......

If any of you haven't played MGS3, you won't understand the Abel, Snake reference. He has a "Naked" camouflage attire, where he does not wear a top, only suspenders and gloves.
You could say Abel's costume resemble that quite alot IMO. Also MGS1's Snake originally had yellow hair :p
Putting my favorite game character of all time and my favorite SF character of all time into one is a dream come true!

It looks like they either took Tekkaman Blade or a white Gundam and mashed them together with Bison...
Dudley looks more Spanish in his new costume, which is pretty cool.
Makoto's is eh, as much as I like her, I'll probably not be buying the outfit.
Abel's costume jumped out to me as the resemblance to Snake was just an awesome reference. Ex_Ein's explanation was pretty cool.
Akuma looks like he came out of a Dynasty Warrior (the newer over-the-top generation) game, which isn't a bad thing.
Hakan's is nice, but that may just be his awesome facial expression...
And Juri's is just short of hot, I really wish they re-did her hair but aside from that the outfit is nice.

- Dudley's is cool, but I would be choosing a different color.
- Akuma, from what I could see, looks nice. Armored sandals, but looks like he still has a gi. Makes me think of Oda Nobunaga. "I AM NOBUNAGA, AND THIS IS MY QUEST!" Kudos if you know what I'm talking about.

Not liking Ibuki's, Makoto's, Abel's, T.Hawk's, Juri's, and Rose's. I think they're ugly, reference or not.

Guy looks like Goku. Bison looks like he's wearing A Power Ranger Battlizer. Ibuki is my love...I would marry her. Abel looks like rambo, Dee Jay is f****ng kool(Makes me want to pick him up). Akuma looks like a Shogun, Hakan looks a bit less like a joke and Dudley seems to be showing off his chest.
Lovin Rose's cleavage, Rufus is a channeler XD, and ryu needs a haircut.
I have no major complaints other than why they aint show gouken yet. ahh well I'm satisfied so its all good.

Ibuki's looks kind of like Hinata's Taiyo HS uniform from Rival Schools. (maybe Ibuki goes to Taiyo HS)
Ryu only looks weird because the character design in SFIV is bad in the first place with all the characters being on steroids and all.

Geezus... Makoto's ripped. They really defined the s*it out of her arms. Her outfit is pretty cool though
Akuma's Alternate this time around is much better.
Bison's is looking a tad Futuristic, but its not bad.
Ibuki finally gets a school girl outfit :D pretty cool
Guys and Cody's Classic. Guys may look almost the same, but I prefer this one.
They really did bad on Ryu... it just doesn'tlook right.
DeeJay's is slick, I'll be using this as oppose to his original.

None of them look worth the extra points to get(i wouldnt buy they either way though). But u guys have to remember that the character models are terrible and that limits what they can do. Ie chun has no ass and doing anything that would be from fiting would show case that problem.

There's no such thing as a Brazilian anime. It may have been shown in Brazil, but that doesn't mean it was made there. It was in Japan, Latin American countries, and USA as far as I know. Though oddly enough we got it twice in the US, Saint Seiya and Knights of the Zodiac.

I'm honestly surprised that so many people like Abel's new costume. He looks like a gay gladiator or a rejected comic book character design. Not that there is anything wrong with being a gay gladiator mind you.
Also, he looks NOTHING like Solid Snake. I don't ever remember Snake in a "stealth nipple" outfit.
The thing is, I think, that a lot of the alts look like Halloween costumes. They look cool but also look like they would visually get old quick. I was hoping for more everyday clothing type alts: Imagine Seth or Sagat in a business suit, Ibuki and Chuni-Li in blue jeans/ casual wear, etc. Tone it down a bit and the character gets more visual mileage.
btw, Makoto's alt is A+!

He doesn't look like Solid Snake, but like Naked Snake, Big Boss from MGS3. His outfit is the same when you try to escape Groznyjgrad without any equipement.
