More Super Street Fighter 4 gameplay videos from GDC, Hakan clips

Another video of Hakan in Super Street Fighter 4 has surfaced, this time from the Game Developers Conference. It shows him getting beat down by Dhalsim.

Update: There are several more videos on Shoryukenvideo's YouTube channel.

The only new thing I saw from Dhalsim was that ultra. I'm thinking they changed the SF4 characters very little.

im thinking that most of the characters were not given anything major aside from the new ultras, most of the tweaks would be in little things like hitboxes and move priority.

I agree. That was very unlike Dhalsim. All of us World Warriors are very anxious to see Hakan show off his moves, so we know what he will be facing.

All except me, of course. I can see the future. :)

I think he will be mid/low tier, probably low...

@1 Yup, I think so, he looks more "normal" in this match that in the trailer, Capcom did a very nice presentation for the character.

We had 4 Alpha characters added in street fighter 4

low and slow jumping arc seems painful for him and foot speed of makoto... guessing any character that can apply any sustained pressure will own him unless his ex moves allow some sort of invincibility or anti air options

I am from Turkey and as a Turkish, I would like to inform you about Hakan.

He is not an Arabic, adversely he is a Turkish fighter.

In turkish language "HAKAN" means "The Emperor or The Concerior"

Hakan is a Turkish fighter who is created based on traditional "kirkpinar wrestlers" (you can check on youtube).

In this traditional wrestling game, fighters put oil on their bodies and fight starts.

Hakan doesn't look very good, though. Slow and horrible jump...but at least his oil doesn't make him take extra damage from fire haha.

I deduce that since somg guy of undeterminable skill using Hakan for what is probably the first time did poorly against someone who plays a decent Dhalsim Hakan most not be so great and is clearly low tier. Do you guys even hear yourselves?

Hmm...he seems like a decent grappler. Of course he has issues with Projectile characters and the DH player seemed to be pretty decent. Just wait til we get the actual gameplay footage to judge him.

Hakan should take extra damage when he's oiled up from fireballs, yoga flame, etc...

i hate when they do this, instead of testing him and geting a feel of his specials and normals the dhalsim player is playing to win, like if it mattered.
