Once millions of people play countless hours with the whole cast then we can really get into the meat and potatoes of this game. Who is good, who is bad, uses for counter ultras uses for Akuma's ultra. Having only a handful of people play this game, it means nothing, its just entertaining to watch. That's it, so take it for what its worth

I think Gouken maybe even weaker... his combo looks less powerfull.
I don't get why some of you are complaining how much noob people are. This is a demo. It is not a tournament. This is a chance to TEST the game. The players don't have to be top tier, nor have to play top tier character. They don't have to know the moves before they put the video on youtube. If you don't like it, why don't you fly to Germany instead, show us how it should be done, and post it online. Then I bet you tons of people will complain about your crappy weak ass gameplay too.

wow, dudley looks faster than he was in 3s. His EX MGB is super quick and goes full screen in like a second. And his jet upper has a lot of range. His dashing straights are really fast too.

These videos weren't meant for you so you have no room to complain. Also, considering they were playing new characters it's to be expected they wouldn't know what they were doing.

I can't remember nakky's blog saying there'll be SOMETHING at the Japan National Tournament.
The way Capcom has done it with all the new characters so far is,a week before revealing mentioning that there'll be a special update.
So,why the change for shadow?
If Shadow's in then he'll be hinted at in Hakan's trailer,I guess.
So far the rumorlist has come true and thus no reason to start disbelieving it just because you want some character in.

I hope there will be an additional character because originally that 'something' Nakky was talking about was said to be the info on the tournament dlc thing and all alts but who knows. Also you can charge Abels Ultra II and Fei-longs counter ultra does good damage when the bar is full. Goukens Denjin has potential, not sure what the wall bounce would do but looks promising.

I have never complained a bit throughout all these new developments for SSF4, I liked almost all of the new changes because for majority of them, the pros outweigh the con.
But one thing that is disappointing me right now are the stages. I really wish they put less work glittering up stages like the Africa/Hippo stage and instead make more new stages because it seems like there is only about 4 new stages in Super SF4 and this looks to be the final release already. For one, a SF4 iteration of the old stages from Street Fighter 2 would've been killer. I definitely think more stages should have been added..

This game plays exactly like SF4 has done for over a year, there's no visible worthwhile improvements to be seen? Even when decent veteran players are having a match either at home or in arcades the game looks sluggish and poor unless both players are of exceptional skills etc. What serious game mechanics and system overhauls have their been to SSF4 overall. And in all these EventHubs put up video links to Gameshows or special SF4 event showcases regardless?
Sales of SF$ last year be damned!
Another scrub title looms methinks. Whatever happened to Capcom. For a game with "SUPER" in the title, think everyone wants to see many 'MASSIVE' changes and not just minor additionals like new characters and add ons like new backgrounds, new music etc. Even if they when out and made a very difficult SF game, don't they think deep down many people would adapt and learn to actually play the game regardless of its intricate gamesystem, frame data, characters and functionality.
When the luster of this being new a 'brand new' title wears off you'll see how crap SSF4 will turn out. Wish it weren't so but you know what i'm saying is true.

gamespeed is faster :) the new characters also seem to have an addiotional speed bonus. it looks as if capcom changed the balcancing by reducing all the characters moves, like more startup, less priority, less damage (but more stun) and so on. so dont expect to see your character stronger, instead all of them will be a bit weaker.

Thayre taken by a few german players who only wnt to the Cebit for SSFIV. But not all the gameplay is from them since this was a public booth (and btw on on of the biggest IT events). So thats why theyre playing so noobish.
@37, it doesn't as if youve ever been to germany, actually there is quite a big beat em up gaming scene. and there are Ken scrubs everywhere on the world.

Don't know why Wong didn't demo any of the Alpha characters.
It is kind of bullsh!t that he got to get ahold of the game for a little bit too.
While Daigo is being all modest about everyone getting the game at the same time, Wong is already making tutorials for a game that hasn't even come out yet.

Sorry for the bad game play, bud the people in the videos are trying to find new moves out... .It was the first time everybody there played with the third 3 characters, and we only had a few minutes to play. Also 3 dudes in the video never hold an arcade stick in there hand, in germany arent arcade sticks so familier.

Agreed matsudaa on the Justin Wong arguement. Still there is bound to be just tons of youtube SSF4 tutorial vids waiting to be made by SF4 players ahead this year.
Although i don't mind that everyone seeing how Dudley operates in SSF4 compared to his old SF3 sprite incarnation cos he's one of the most popular SF3 characters and was practically begging for a tutorial. Reckon the majority of SSF4 characters on the other hand are asking for a bigger look into their upgrades and changes. Guile, Gen and many others especially. But i also agree with #86. And its regular people's gameplay on early 'test-bed' SSF4 versions that showing what people have complained about already far as SSF4 goes. Which is why despite all the hoopla being made about the game, visually speaking it has big problems Capcom hasn't bothered repairing or addressed for real.
SSF4 being slow compared to 3S puts the SF3 characters off in a big way though.
