Capcom's Christian Svensson offered a bit more information on how well Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars has been selling on the Wii.You said you're cautiously optimistic that TvC is going to have long legs from a sales perspective. Can you give the fans an idea of how well the game is performing?
Sven: It's a solid single, we'd like to see stretch to a double 8). Does that help?
At some point will Capcom release a retail hard copies of their downloadable games in a compilation? Like SSF2T HD Remix bundled with Mega Man 9 and 10?
Sven: Not unless some of a certain first party's policies change, which don't allow for content released digitally to be put on disc, no. The economics of doing compilations like this for just a single platform don't work.
Some stores in the United Kingdom are selling Capcom PC games for less than retail price. If I pay a cheaper price, are you guys getting less money?
Sven: Unless we've price protected the game in question, it makes little difference. In the UK it's slightly different than elsewhere. There's several retailers locked in a "race to the bottom" in terms of who can be the most aggressive on pricing in an effort to gain marketshare. Sometimes they're loss leaders.
