Ono pitching new Darkstalkers title? More alts. for Super Street Fighter 4?

This makes sense. Ono has been mentioning Darkstalkers like a million times since he finished the first SF4, he wants to do the game.

Inafune liking the proposal is good news for sure though. Maybe we will actually see a Darkstalkers game in the future...

Well im hyped for a new darkstalkers but ssf4 doesnt need more costumes, at least not for everybody, im ok with the 10 new characters gettin a 3rd costume but wat they really need and wat everybody really wants is dlc( DOWN LOADABLE CHARACTERS) at least 9-12 new characters wud be gud news, heck there adding ssf4 to arcades in japan mayb they'll surprise up with new characters like they did in sf4 vanilla. heres hoping.

Darkstalkers would be nice, also a new Rival Schools game would be amazing.

As for new costumes? I'd say make Dan some sort of super hero, complete with mask and cape. THAT would be hilarious.

I'm well aware that Darkstalkers has a cult following, so I won't go so far as to say that NOBODY wants a new Darkstalkers game, but I will say that there are a lot of people out there who are indifferent/don't want a new one. I really hope that they're not expecting a new DS title to sell as well as a new Street Fighter title or a new SF crossover.

Capcom, if you're reading this, we don't want a new Darkstalker game.

I'd be happy for everyone to get new alternate costumes, why would anyone say that they think the ten new characters should only get new alts? They should get an extra 2 costumes and the other 25 get 1 extra. That'd be nice.

New Darkstalkers please. Oh and use it to try something really different this time, I think it's the perfect franchise to experiment with crazy new ideas.

I would be interested to know why Capcom would consider not giving us a new Darkstalkers game, considering the success of Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV.

I'd say finish those stages that didn't get finished for SSFIV like the train and london stages. Then give the 10 new characters another costume. That'd be pretty nice.

Now i am not trying to be rude, i hope he manages to convince them and i would like to see it happen. But i just hate it when every month we get this "announcement" that Ono wants to make a Darkstalkers! We get the message! Now is the game happening?

As for alternative costumes, sorry Capcom but most of the stuff you offered look lame in my eyes, did not bother with a single pack. They have a track record of offering the stuff we never want

Why hate on a new Darkstalkers title? I'm sure there are kids that saw the new MvC footage and don't know who Morrigan and Felicia are. DS is way fun and a new one for 360/PS3 would be great.

IMHO, SSF4 doesn't need new characters or costumes. Characters would cause balance problems, and the game already has an impressive roster. Theyre are also plenty of costumes; maybe 2nd alternate for the 10 new characters if it wasnt expensive but i dont think they can do that now.

Stages would be so much better:
Alpha 2 Australia Stage
Alpha 2 Venezuela Stage (PSX/Arcade only? don't remember)
A London Stage (mix of Dudley and Cammy)
Thailand Stage (Alpha 2 mixed with the recent concept art)
Japan Rooftop (mix of SF2 and SF3 Third Strike)
Honda Hot Tub (SF2)

Couldnt think of anymore stages but they should add around five. Sounds reasonable to me. New Darkstalkers would be nice but I like SF3 or CvS2 re-release better.

There could be a downloaded update to the game which contained the data for the new costumes (and this would likely be an update containing other things as well), and then they could be activated via purchase. If, for example, there were an update for download in 2011 that contained changes made for the arcade version of Super SFIV, costumes could be contained in it.

I have enjoyed the alternate costumes and would welcome the availability of more. They keep the game feeling fresh.

I'd say add 5 more chars to Street fighter 4 via DLC then we wait for Street Fighter 5. It's only fair seeing how they did say that vanilla SF4 was not designed for new chars added by dlc (so they say) But if Super Street Fighter 4 is out and we don't see DLC in the form of chars and not Alt costumes Im gonna feel cheated.

But besides that I really want to see a new Vampire hunter game see how the series needs a reboot.

I had never been all that interested in Darkstalkers until I got Chaos Tower on PSP. It's a lot of fun and I'd love to see what a next-gen reboot would be like. Maybe with the option for a simplified control scheme for newbie players.

Hell, the only reason that most people know about Morrigan and Felicia is because of the Capcom crossovers.

Darkstalkers is fun as hell, EmeraldFont is an idiot for wanting capcom to make the same damn game over and over.

As much as I'd like to see a new Darkstalkers, I agree that the series isn't popular and a new game would not sell very well. Still, a new darkstalkers is at the top of my wish list after MvC3 as far as capcom games go.

Also, the 10 new characters could really use a second set of alternate costumes. It bugs me how they only have one.

Awesome for the New Dark-Stalkers game. I hope it is done in a "Sleeker" 3D style, not big and bulky like SSFIV, though, I did like that style as well, I hope they're skinnier. I hope they include Hsien-Ko and Jedah, and I'll be happy.

As far as the SSFIV new Costumes, I would really like some more, but there are certain specific ones I would really like.

Cammy: I want to see her with her hair down maybe? In like an everyday outfit. Maybe jeans, a halter top and sneakers for a change. I want to see her comfortable in everyday wear. OR her Killer Bee Outfit from SFA3.

Makoto: I want something nice and "feminine" for her. Maybe a sundress to match that hat? Or maybe a school girl outfit like Ibuki's or Sakuras,or maybe even a "Battle Damaged" Makoto like Ryu.

Cody: I want him to be wearing something more "Street". Maybe pants with a chain going from one belt loop to the other, and sagging so his boxers show. A hoody with a backwards hat on beneath it, and maybe bandaged hands.

A new darkstalkers game would be awsome since most people including myself only know about it threw the crossovers or darkstalkers on the psp bringing that series into the light would really shoot up its popularity and make it more known to the world. As for new costumes PLEASE! make that happen to me new outfits make playing ur fav character feel more good especialy for chun li (my main) her new alt is...its just bad thats all some of those picks from the book would look really good short skirt,tight clothes,alpha chun etc just not another dress PLEASE just normal clothes for once.
