Mixed in with all the E3 madness, Microsoft announced a few $50 price cuts to the Xbox 360 to clear out inventory for the new slim version. You can buy an Arcade 360, with very limited storage, for $149.99 and this includes a few extra games.Honeslty I'd shell out for the Slim if I didn't have one. I might still do it and just give mines to my lil sister.
An Arcade Model plus 2 games and an extra controller should be under 100 bucks? God people have an odd sense of self-entitlement.
Just a note for anyone else really attracted to the Arcade price: You'll almost definitely need to buy a larger hard drive for it (256 MB is quite small).
Not a deal breaker by any means, and the next size up goes as small as 20GB, so it'll still be much cheaper than one with 250GB. Still, consider it into your costs.
As for the previous comments, I'll agree that even the console itself shouldn't be under 100 (Nintendo DSi's cost more than that, I believe). However, red ring is always a concern, and especially for the older models, there is no way to dispel it for sure.
Because the 360 has nothing to do with Fighting Games... besides that a ton of people play fighting games on them... Hurp.
Nice find.
Thanks.
