Christian Svensson made a few posts about Marvel vs. Capcom 3 recently on the Unity Boards.Are you guys going to keep showing Marvel vs. Capcom 3 at expos and have some Fight Clubs like you did for Street Fighter 4? Also, will we see a downloadable demo for the game?
Sven: Fight Clubs and show presence (Comic-Con, Penny Arcade Expo, etc.) are assured. There will probably be some other ways too.
As far as a downloadable demo, [that has] yet to be determined, but [the] schedule is tight so we'll see.

It seems like some people didn't read my last post explaining why the leaked list that had bison on it is fake, here is a copy/paste of it:

Ok, so I make my research about this "KookerKid" (the guy who showed the leaked list in gamefaqs), it turns out he/she is a recognized troll in smash bros, Mario kart, Wrestlemania, and God knows where else. Koolerkid is well known for making fake info about games, especially "japanese leaks". Since he has done this FOR YEARS he might have gotten really good at making his info believable, but GOD! he has make this with so many games that now it's just too obvious.
In conclusion, the MvC3 lists are fake, so always remember the famous internet phrase "Don't feed the troll".

Sven can't say the list is true because that will ruin their surprise. He can't say anything else either since people will just keep putting up lists to get his opinion. You will understand why not commenting is his only response if you put yourself in his shoes.
In general (gaffs like the TvC leak excluded), Capcom is extremely systematic in how they release news or updates. While these aren't always done in built-up press releases a-la Apple, even the hints thrown out in interviews are fairly clearly calculated almost all the time. Each time they release another 2 characters, they continue to build hype for the game. They're not going to do anything to jeopardize that hype like actually confirm the entire roster.

they're on a 3 to 6 character reveals per reveal period especially with this game which will feature OVER(for all of those who still can't read or listen for sh*t) 30 characters and so far only 10 have been revealed,

I'm wondering if they going to get the final touches on at least two characters with hopefully 1 returning 1 new.

Everyone will play it, so the distinction of what "maining" it is will be hard to make. What really will make the difference is the money in it. Right now, there is just way more money in SSFIV than any other fighting game on the tournament scene. If interest in MvC3 rises to the point that it starts dwarfing the SSFIV tourney pots, then I suspect more people will start "maining" it.

That's the leaked list and it really does seem plausible, since they said they found it in code at the official site and it later "vanished", but I am not too sure.
The reason I think this is plausible is because they are borrowing a lot of things from TvC, so it makes sense to use characters they already made for this (The Morrigan/Ryu), and also, they seem to have more chars like that (Makes sense for Zero/Viewitful Joe/Frankwest/Chun-Li) to be in this. Hell, Viewtiful Joe is pretty much confirmed cause of the "Viewtiful" thing after someone did a combo in a MvC video, Frankwest outlined, and Chun-Li outlined (What other Capcom char has hair buns? And Chun is the first choice for Capcom for women in fighting games anyway).
Though, I think this list is right but I don't believe it's ALL the characters. I believe it's just the characters they have that are already completed. I think Capcom knows it cannot give us less than MvC 2 and be satisfied, I am banking on at least 30 characters per side.
Oh, I see what you mean but. When they had "Marvel" and had a silhouette of characters then "Capcom" and silhouette of characters, one of those Capcom Silhouette had hair buns. There is no other Capcom character I can think about that has a female figure and hairbuns, NONE.
The list is so fake I don't get why anyone would believe it. I am a zero fanboy but just because he is on the list dose not make me believe it. It is poorly made I could make a better fake list. Why not say the full name of characters its more believable.
He claims that the character names are just copy and pasted from the source code from the website. However, the list originated from a user that has been posting fake lists for fighting games for years, so that almost definitely means it's fake. Someone saw what happened with TvC, and used that opportunity to provide a good cover-up for how they got it and why no one can fact-check them.
@AkumaMishima You want to talk about biting stuff from SF and other Capcom games, but where do you think Ultras, Supers, Super Finishers came from? They were Capcom's response to Fatalities.
