1) why would Storm being in MVC3 be a surprise??
2) why would they NOT put her in MVC3 if she was that popular?
Of course she's in. I think that goes without saying. SNK-Playmore made the mistake of not putting Mai Shiranui in KOF12 and people went bananas. This is hardly news.

Storm def isn't the first x-men that comes to mind cause when you ask most people about x-men they will give u wolverine cyclops and jean grey before storm cause they've had a better storyline personally then storm and they've had connections with each other also....so yes I do think storm is in but I don't think she is in because she is the most famous x-men

Storm isn't an important X-men-
She isn't a founding member(Iceman, Beast, Jean Grey, Cyclops and Angel were the founding memebers) and could be replaced by alot of female members that came later. The only thing that made he interesting is that she's black (not that many of those especially in X-men's official universe) and afraid of closed spaces.
X-23 is popular to the point of fan demand they added her into X-men Evolution have given her mini-series multiple times, and she is different in that she has claws in her feet allowing her more acrobatic versions of her attack
i think she is important because she plays an important role in many xmen missions. She is powerful. Shes a godess as well. She doesn't have to be a founding member. Wasnt she leader at some point? She also beats cyclopse. You can have other characters in the game as well. Storm is a great choice, dont see why not. Don't front on halle barry(popular actor)!

Never said an academy award just good actress.. She can always be replaced and it doesn't matter if there's too many ground based, if she's not in the game! remember how many air based characters(that had rather good list of in air moves) there were in Marvel 2....hmmm barely even 6 and it doesn't matter if X-23 is a ground type(though you kinda are assumming there with that one) she very agile and more brutal then Wolverine meaning she might have air versions of his classic attacks and her own flair to her(especially with the foot blade). And did you forget that She was only an assist in MVC1? and that she was only a background cameo in Marvel super heroes VS Street figher? such an Iconic character that should never be replaced, dude she can be replaced and with her dwelling modern popularity CAN BE

The only reason Storm was "popular" in MvC2 was because she was overpowered and had easily abusable tactics. Did anyone give a crap about Storm in X-Men COTA or XvSF? No. That's a bad way to choose popular characters for the game. Capcom needs to re-boot and rebalance. They should focus on getting characters in the game that are popular in the comic universe, not just used a lot in MvC2 because of being broken in terms of a fighting game character.
People would use the ball from pong as character if it made it easier for them to win. I doubt the majority of Storm users actually are a fan of the character. If she's in the game, and it's balanced well, as it should be, she'll be no better than anyone else and people will drop her like flies and we'll see she's really not as popular as a character as it seems. Same for Sentinel. Not so much for Magneto, as he's really poplar purely as a comic character.

Storm was a great character in xvsf and cota...storm had the coolest character graphics. she floats and you could see wind benethe her feet, she punches frickin thunder, all her kicks have wind, she stuffs exectricity in your face for her throw, she could fly. Face it, shes cool. I think many people can agree. Just because shes overpowered doesn't cloud the fact that she is a cool character. Dont hate on Hally Barry!

Storm of course is cool, and hopefully she is really in the game. If they were going to balance the roster with more diversity I would like to see Bishop because he could have a cool special move and hyper combo finish move with blasting back energy at those who use beams like Ryu, Iron Man, etc all of those characters who try to get away with shooting beams over and over. Like it would be cool when someone does a hyper combo move and Bishop is left with no energy,but does his hyper combo move that is a counter to channel the energy back and when the match lol.
I really hope that they add Storm to the list, she was a very popular character in the game, and I would like to see how she will do now that you wont be able to run away and build energy up. Honestly hands down. Storm is an awesome character to have in any comic or game. First of all she is an icon, not only an icon for african americans in comics. But an icon for a kick-ass female character. I mean who else can f stuff up like storm can? Even wonder women can attest to that. I think all and all. Storm has earned her right to be in this game, no matter what anyone says.
