Capcom's Rey Jimenez clarified what the company is looking for when it comes to suggestions for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 recently over on the Unity Forums. It appears that you and Marvel have your own plans and strict guidelines to follow. You seem to have your own ideas for most of the game's roster and story.
I would like to know, what realm of fan suggestions are you looking into? Are you looking for fan input on stages, game modes, music or whatever else? I'm really just asking, are you taking any suggestions at this point, so early on? — Unknown
Jimenez: I would stick to feature requests that are easier to do. The simpler they are, the more likely they'll be done.
For example, like a random team option that wasn't in MvC2. Small features that you think will make it a better game are the requests most likely to be fulfilled.

Haters gonna hate...the airship stage and Abyss's stage were pretty cool.
Anyhoo, I'd like some more exploration of the Capcom and Marvel universes. Slapstick? Arthur? Any new, obscure characters would be welcome, if only to add to the fun factor (I was a huge Kobun fan in MvC2)
Haters have no taste. The jazzy tunes of MVC2 were awesome, not sayinig the character themes for the other games weren't but come on... The MVC1 music was pretty sloppy. X-Men Vs Street Fighter had the best of themes.
Some simple things I would really like to see are.
#1 - An option kind of like Brawl, that you can select what music you want on what stage. This is mainly because in MvC 2 I really loved the River Stage's music, but because the online was always random stage, I rarely ever got this on XBL (But picked it all the time on DC.), so that would be a good feature.
#2 - Alternate Costume? Really, I know this game is probably going to have a lot of characters. But once I heard dante was in it, I wanted his DMC outfit where he was shirtless, as that's what I used on DMD difficulty, and whatever else after I unlocked it. At least ONE alt would be good, and not that 1P, 2P costume BS.
#3 - A type of two player online training mode. I don't know how many times I would try to teach my friend something online, and we'd have to set it to the maximum number of rounds and keep on going and going and going with new matches. If in a private game you could set the Stamina for two people to "Endless" just to practice and teach each other things, I would be greatly appreciated.
#4 - Customizable messages during either taunt or at the bottom of your screen. Taunts is something like Smash Bros. Brawl, or like in SSFIV where it has the bottom message of like "Tournament Player", "Bring it on!", "Team Chump", etc. you could customize your message. If you're not sure about that, then just make a filter as to what you can or can't say, it would be really cool.
its nice to see that capcom consideres the fans opinions.
My idear would be to give the stages 'something random'. I dont mean that the background changes meanwhile the fight (nothing against that ... ) - but that if u choose one stage twice ( or five times) that something in the background is randomly different. Little things like some people in the background that change or animals or what else is moving there. - would be nice if something like this would be added to SSF4 too of course.
Long scenes in the background are nice to watch of course - but somewhen some little changes would be good I think.
#5 - Color edit mode. Y'know, something like in Capcom vs SNK. Don't know if it's possible, but I would love to be able to do this, FOR ALL characters. People hacked to do it on DreamCast, make this a reality here, shouldn't be too hard, right?
#6 - NO EASY MODE/Automatic Mode. I do not want this game to look like Capcom vs SNK 2 EO for XBox.
#7 - TEAM mode. Like, I don't know if this is possible. But like, 3 people vs 3 people, each controlling one character. The madness would be insane. They should also have like, an official team mode rank match thing.
#8 - If you have a regular team mode, like SSFIV. Make it that the other person CANNOT change their character after they win, this destroys counter picks dude.
#9 - All right, all right, enough suggestions. Last one is most important to me. Gallery mode, and a customizable Title screen. Such as, use any gallery piece or the original as the background. Honestly, SSFIV didn't have a movie or gallery mode, which pissed me off since I draw. Also, if I could change Ryu/Ken staring into each other's souls, I would.
@RoKtheReaper awesome ideas. I especially like the custom taunt option. No filter please. "Online content not rated" is in games for a reason, I wanna have and see some rediculous taunts written! Also agreed, please Capcom learn from your SSFIV title screen. How was anything not mentioned? Unless they're planning to reveal something about Ryu and Ken in the future.....idiots. I have nothing against homosexuals, I just think the fanfare over it is enough to take notice.
@RoK the 2 player online mode idea is GODLY!!! i always wanted that too they should put that in the patch for super
I'd like to add an additional tip to those Rey Jimenez posted about your feature requests: just because EventHubs posted a reproduction of a comment Jimenez made on Capcom Unity does not mean he is now hunched over a computer reading EventHubs.
Though it'd be cool, we have no reason to think he is reading our comments here; obviously, if you want your idea to be noticed, you'd post it on Capcom Unity, if anywhere.
I doubt this comment will do much to stem the flood of "HAY CAPCOM!!!!! HERE ARE MY TOP 17 THINGS I WANT IN THE GAME!!!!!!!!11" fantasy posts, but you never know.
First and foremost, my biggest concern is the control scheme... I know there's been a lot of talk about this issue already but I strongly believe that there should at least be an option of a control scheme that's similar to MVC2 and other Capcom fighters, as in (at least) 2 punches and 2 kicks rather than a light, medium and heavy attack button as I understand it's set to be at the moment.
Other than that, I'd like to see the game made with compatability for online balance patches in mind since VS games (understandably) tend to have a lot of broken stuff.
Not sure if anyone from Capcom reads the posts here but:
1.) GGPO PLZ. I'd say at least 95 percent of my MvC2 matches are lag free or have no real noticable lag. In SFIV, it's nowhere near that good. Don't even get me started on TvC.
2.)As a previous poster said, a color edit mode would be nice. And if you absolutely refuse to add that, for goodness sakes, don't make 3 or 4 colors slightly different shades of the same color.
Sorry to be off topic but here is a video of my friends interviewing DAigo.. This was just for fun while he was in Australia competing to win a ticket to EVO 2k10 USA. (Which he did win) lol. Hope you all enjoy.
Allright, then why wont you inlcude X instead of some stupid Volnutt.
I think they should add Axl, Marino, and Spider from megaman X command mission to the Capcom Roster or at least Marino
While they are at it, do random assist type too!
