Good suggestions, but there's a world of difference between knowing what to do and being able to execute it instantly in the face of real Rufus pressure, especially if there's lag to contend with. Not saying it can't be done, just that nobody should be thinking "Wow, now that I know what to do Rufus is going to be free!", because it's probably not going to work out that easily. This video is a good starting point though, at least people who watch it have an idea what they should work toward.
@ 10 - i dont think thats the point. knowing any top tier match up doesnt make it "free", it just helps. the point is to inform people on what their options are as a guile player, not tell you the gospel on how to beat rufus. obviously rufus pressure is stupid good, but these options should help any guile player out. it would take a complete fool to think this stuff means guile > rufus in a 7/3 match up or anything like that.
also, that guile combo into d/f+hk, flash kick, FADC was hot.

How can you FADC forward while you need to charge so you can do U2? I wish they made another video about Ibuki's super jump cancel, I only did twice but couldn't time the motion.
Nice combos, but this video doesn't change the fact that Ruffus pressure is still a 50/50 or better in Ruffus favor in most cases. No matter what you'll always have to guess, if you guess wrong you eat a big combo and go back to square one. That's why Ruffus pressure is so good in this game and with his new ultra he's more difficult to zone out because he can punish a lot of things including fireballs from almost full screen.
Mod is the best Guile player in my oppinion after playing against him and studying his ability to read and react and minimize danger situations while maintaining pressure, I emulate him when I play. Although I am a little more wreckless and risk taking, thats what gives me my own unique style.
Still, Mod is the best execution savvy Guile player Ive seen in the SF4 series of players.
He also encouraged me to option select. I smh and refused. I still think the guy is great though.

I've played Mod and Lamerboi online and they do not play alike. Lamerboi is well lame.
Maybe if more people played with Rufus he wouldn't seem like a broken character, but no you won't play with him to see how easily guile shuts him down in a match. This video is so unnecessary if you're playing with guile and you let Rufus get in you're doing something wrong.
He's interrupting Rufus' BnB COMBO. The recorded Rufus isnt holding forward, what he's showing you doesnt work. Short, Fierce, Fierce Galactic Tornado is a combo and cant be interrupted in any of these ways. Some of the stuff works, but most of this video is based off of sticking sh!t in between Rufus' bnb combo which can only end badly for you if the Rufus player knows the most basic info about his character (you shouldnt need this video at all if the Rufus ur playing doesnt know to hold forward when he's doing GT).

I have not addded the Dash into ultra into my game. I dont like jarring my controller when I play. Simple fluid movements bring me great joy when Im supplying the beat down.

I find dealing with rufus' quite easy. I don't come across many rufus' online but I played this really good rufus a couple of days ago and I was using makoto. Any time he dive kicked, I anti aired him with makoto's down hk or fukiage, which nullified his aerial threat which is an important part of his game the rest wasn't too hard.
@ 29 - false! if nothing hits, its not a combo. try cleaning the jiz out of your eyes and watching it again. when j.roundhouse, short, fierce is blocked, guile can throw rufus before the galactic tornado hits. if you knew what the hell you were watching and talking about you would know the difference between a combo and interupting a block string. please drink a glass of bleach. thank you.

You can test it out for yourself weather or not the Rufus is holding forward. hit up training mode and make Rufus do his BnB after blocking the fierce stop blocking if guile gets hit by the galactic tornado it means you can interrupt the block string if he continues blocking then it cant get interrupted.
Personally I think this is legit.
Okayy... I can DP or head butt anyone who doesnt do their combo properly... This video is full of dangerous and bad ideas vs a recorded rufus who's not completing his bnb properly or punishing any of these unsafe moves. DO NOT follow just about anything you see in this video.
