Here's a look at some of the random things happening in the community lately.
• A new Marvel vs. Capcom 3 gameplay video was posted by Famitsu.
• There's Mega Man-Inspired Super Street Fighter 4 Wallpaper by SpeedBrkr
• More Street Fighter Cubecraft, this time for Zangief and Dan.
• Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Inception, (500) Days of Summer and 3rd Rock from the Sun, admits to being a big Street Fighter 2 fan on Jimmy Fallon.
• Quite possibly the most adorable Chun-Li cosplay ever.
• EVO Japan has been moved back until spring 2011.
Best Chunli cosplay I've seen. Now she just needs to learn her first Kikosho.
new street fighter movie HONEY I SHRUNK A STREETFIGHTER
Amaterasu is still as awesome as she was in Okami, she seems to be quite flexible (Rosaries: Quick Strikes, Glaives: Heavy attacks, Reflectors: A balance of the two)
So maybe it's just me, but did anyone notice Marvel side winning almost all the gameplay vids that were matches and not clips, so far?
@13
yeah I've noticed that. In general, it seems like the Marvel player(s) seem to know more about the game than the Capcom ones. I've never seen a Capcom char use the X-factor (they CAN use it, right?), though the Marvel ones always do. Also, in that vid that introduced Doom, Chun ect. we say Doom use his Up Fireball Hyper randomly, which we would assume was stupid given MvC2. The Capcom player also apparently thought it was a bad move and just casually advanced, only to get hit by the downward pour we didn't know about.
Anyway, anyone notice Thor did the same kind of damage to Chun in one combo that people have been criticizing Skrull for?
I'm willing to bet they did Doom's fullscreen up fire ball because it shows that there is a reason to use the move now. When introducing someone that was solid but had some werid flaws before people will appreciated helpful tweaks. Just by pure assupmtion from playing the demos and knowing some move properties it seems to me Capcom characters will be a bit better at doing loops with Xfactor while Marvel characters will be better at taking combos in bizzare directions. Once again if I was doing editing I would want to show the extremely unique stuff of the game not the one series of attacks, Xfactor same series of attacks, hyper.
But in all honesty I could be way off. Try not to read too much into demo politics is my advice they usually cause crazy hype divisions when in reality the game offers something much different than either views.
The cuteness! My heart... HNNNNNNNNNGH
