Over on the official GodsGarden page, they set the finals match date for Sako (Cammy) and YHC Mochi (Dhalsim).can't wait to watch the japanese for gg 2.5 and what they come up with
JWong is so horrible. He only placed 9th out of 1800 players. Not to mention that he only took first in pretty much every other tournament he entered this year besides EVO.
JWong haters are just as bad as Daigo dick riders. Use some sense people.
@9
amen.
Jwong haters and daigo cock jockeys can phuck a lightsocket.
Let people be a fan of whoever they want. Every game has fans and every people they dislike, its what makes the game and adds to the competitiveness. It would be so boring if everyone was neutral and impartial.
Sako is going to win. Cammy vs Dhalsim is 6-4 in Cammy's favor and you know how important character matchups are in SSF4.
Interestingly even though YHC Mochi beat Daigo, I'm fairly certain Daigo would win against Sako since the Ryu vs. Cammy matchup is in Ryu's favor.
wait wait wait I must have slept through a few weeks or something. Last I remember, I was watching a awsome vega vs a Cviper.......next thing you know there is finals? Where the hell did all the other matches go? I guess i was way into evo or something.
the GG 2.5 should be interesting. Lesser used characters like Guy, hopefully some really good Gen play.
lol at the fanboys thinking JWong can beat these people who are better than Daigo let alone think Jwong can even compete in japan [which he can't and was proven he can't].
America is free to Japan swallow your pride and take it.
Sako and makoto were the most skilled players in Godsgarden I expect Sako to take the victory of Mochi.
Kuroda embarrassed JWong in Japan. Taunting him multiple times during the match and ignoring Wong's attempt at a handshake.
Taunting improves Q's defense mate. So he actually only taunted 1 time in the pure sense of the word.
JWong is on another level in the US. Dont know what happened at EVO, but he definitely is the best in the US. In Japan however... well, let's just say I don't think he will be able to win a GG or something.
well we'll see how US players stack against Japan. Evo Japan will have some of the top American PLayers and you bet Justin, Marn, Sabin, Sanford, etc will be there

Watch this video. I think it explains some of your Kuroda v. JWong misconceptions:

I like the Cammy pic at the side. Where can I find it?
First off, Jwong is a phenomenal player. He is easily the best player in US with his consistent top finishes where he is often only challenged by the very best and usually whom he gets the best of.
That being said, he won't fare well in Japan at all, and there are reasons why is why:
1. Japanese style formats are usually one pre-determined character, team format, and one best of one game. This format is not about testing the best player, but who plays their best on that day. Daigo and many others have yet to claim a major Japanese crown because if they lose one game their tournament life can be over.
2. The overall Japanese talent pool is DEEP. Daigo himself is not considered the dominant force he is at Evo because you have a pool of lots of guys who are very close to his skill level. Daigo is regarded a top player not because of his tournament finishes, but because he places very high overall in most tournaments and his work with Arcadia and godgarden promoting the sf4 scene. If you are a top Japanese player you can compete with Daigo and in a good day even eliminate him.
3. His Peers. Justin Wong can only get so good unless the people around him get better. Part of why Jwong lost to Gamerbee is because he is unfamiliar with that matchup at a high level. If he lives in Japan and plays as regularly as he does, he will not be as easily surprised because the overall talent level is so much higher and that he will learn to adapt to certain matchups more frequently.
Watch Jwong's matches in last years SBO and Shiozawa cup and you can tell he was not comfortable in those matches. Hell in last year's Shiozawa Cup, Daigo did far from carry his team and their best player in the tournament was easily Iyo. Goes to show the Japanese Scene for SF4 is a completely different and open atmosphere than in the rest of the world.
cant wait to see sako smake mochi around!
