Video from Capcom's Street Fighter X Tekken Comic-Con panel

GameTrailers posted the video Capcom released on their press site today from San Diego Comic-Con showing their WWE-styled Street Fighter X Tekken announcement.

On a somewhat hilarious note, neither Capcom nor Namco employees will probably ever be hired for their acting talent.

This is awesome... if I understand correctly, Capcom did some kind of demo that can be played a little just for Comic con in barely a few months. That's really nice.
Even if they used SSF4 and modify it a little and use the same animations is still nicer than nothing.

In short: AWESOME POTENTIAL.

#7: definitely staged even the fighting part... still it is a better visual than nothing. You get to see where Capcom is going. I can't wait to see the trailer of Namco version.

While this is a huge gamble as both companies will be releasing both games probably around the same time, I guess the namco dedicated players will stick more for the namco version and the capcom player play more the capcom version... but!! I think it is a great move by both companies.

Capcom pull a game that a lot of people wanted to see... and this game could help revive a franchise that didn't have anywhere to go nor did anything really major in a long time. All Capcom do is pretty much another street fighter game but this is slightly different: This is tag game vs tekken. You could think of it as SSF4 vs Tekken... or better.... this is the MvC2 of SF world... with potentially lots of characters.

Namco has the potential to earn new fans. I know I will try the namco version. I don't know how to play any tekken character but if I see Ryu on Tekken vs SF, I will try it. Furthermore, it is a nice break for Namco to bring something new to the table too.

Haha loved the hype and that WWE style entrance by Harada was funny as hell LOL!

Don't know about you guys but I think this has been one of the best years for the fighting game scene in a long time, with all those game announcements: MvC3, SFvT, TvSF, 3S online, a new MK, KOFXIII, man it's like the 90's all over again and I love it! :D

Damn, I wish I had been there.

Surprisingly, this is the first time I have ever heard Ono speak English (at least I think he was at one point).

And, I think they were giving away Tekken 6 copies (would make sense since he is from Namco and this announcement had to do with SF X Tekken).

@ #13 I was there at the panel and they were giving out copies of Tekken 6 to the audience members in the isle way, like #14 just said.

This panel was so much HYPE! Way better than the Ghost Recon panel that came before it, where people were literally falling asleep, such as the dude next to me, for instance.

All in all, good times at Comic Con, except for waiting in line. There were lines to wait in line, it was that ridiculous! Still had fun. Lots of scantily clad foxes roaming around too. Ah yes good times.

Oh yea not sure if you could see her in the audience, but there was a really good Juri costume there too. I also saw Justin Wong and Marn there too. And got to demo MvC3.

I'll be honest, when I saw all the Street Fighter characters surrounding that one guy, I thought Dhalsim was gonna stretch his arms and smack a bitch.

Kind of interesting how Ono admitted to the fact that the fans saved his job.

Ono's head was on the chopping block and within Capcom, the Vanilla Street Fighter IV project was viewed as something to fail so the project was given to Ono with the expectation for it to fail and they would then fire him. Funny how now that SFIV has exploded they've had to do a complete 180.

Still sad though that within Capcom, the factions between the different franchises are deeply divided. For instance people on the other Capcom game franchise teams, to this day, still think that Street Fighter is something destined to fail.

im getting both. Namco will not disappoint. they did a good job putting Heihachi and Spawn in SC2. Ryu and Co. should be sweet in Tekken play style. how bout putting Tekken vs. SF Bowling on there too?
