Giving another hint at which fighters will be in the game, Frank Tieri, who's the writer for Marvel vs. Capcom 3, had an article posted on Capcom-Unity explaining a bit about his recent work.As for Capcom, I’ve always been partial to the Resident Evil and Street Fighter franchises so it’s probably those characters, especially the villains. They’re just such evil sons of bitches I had a ball writing for them.
There aren't a ton of characters that are considered villains in the Street Fighter series that have enough popularity to warrant being put in Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
As such, some people have suspected he's talking about M. Bison here, although there are a few other notable evil fighters that have shown up in the series.

Dammit! I forgot all about Bison for MVC3. Seriously...he's been such a let down in most cross over games, it completely slipped my mind he might actually be in this game.
He's Capcom's pride and joy when it comes to villians(that or Wesker, Dr. Wily, or Sigma)...but he goes well with the likes of Megneto and Doom.

Dude, it's a fighting game. Ken and Akuma have great chances considering there presence in the SF universe. I think one of the them will make the cut...but don't count out both.
Yes I agree, I would indeed be fantastic in this game (MvC3). But I'm a fairly new Capcom creation and as such doubt my fanbase is large enough, especially when you consider the vast majority of players (scrubs) hate me, for thinking I'm cheap when I have never actually been in the top tier. For all those who support me though, I thank you. Become a part of me!
@#13 & @#16: Nope, Ryu is all that you're going to be getting as a shoto, in which that developers are trying to cut down on clone/palette swap characters. If there's a 3rd SF character, it would most likely be Bison, especially that developers are considering some villains for the Capcom roster like him & Wesker.
Sounds like Bison an Wesker are in. I'd love to see Viper and Urien make it in as far as SF characters, they're moves and attributes REALLY lend themselves over pretty every other character in the SF series, even the bosses like Gill and Seth.
Bison is only really badass when Norio Wakamoto is voicing him.
We already seen Bison, but of course he would still be cool in the game, but how about either Seth, Gill or Urien none of those guys have ever been in a TRUE Crossover before. Technically I would say, Bison, Seth, Albert Wesker, AND Gill would be cool villains for the Capcom side and maybe one more from Dark Stalkers. But I would chose either Seth, Gill or Urien over Bison. It seems that either Seth, Gill or Urien fits this game well.Albert to me feels like a gimme because there's Chris, Resident Evil 5 and the Movie which comes out soon.
There is alot of Capcom games we don't need a mini street fighjter game maybe it can use 3 bosses like how MVC2 did it
