Waste a spot on Chun-li? She's as much the face of Street Fighter as Ryu and Ken. It makes perfect sense for Capcom to put her in this game. Just like she is in TvC. I hope that if they choose more SF characters that Sagat will be one of them. The roster is already pretty nice as it is though, I'm trusting the rest wont disappoint.

PLEASE do us all a favor. If you don't play Marvel, don't even try to play this game because gay Dante (or whatever character from whatever stupid game you play) is in it.

If you can't AHVB, don't buy this game. I'm not talking about jumping backwards while calling drones and HVB while in the A either. Man those fake-ass Cables are everywhere!

I'm expecting Thor to be in it as he will get his own movie and be a part of the Avengers flick as well. I'm hoping for Dr. Strange as well. Black Cat would be awesome and so would Spider-Woman, SilverSurfer, Green Goblin, Hobgoblin, Sand-Man, the Vulture and Dr. Octopus! From Capcom's side i am already quite happy with what they have shown so far, even if Trish was a big surprise. Regardless of the crappy performance of new games i would love to see the mains of both Dark Void (vs Iron Man) and Bionic Commando

I think the game is going in the right direction..I heard from a valuable source that Akuma's going to be in there and so far the list is going identical to the leaked out list.

Super Skrull looks like he will be them spamming character so far. Amazing combo ability and crazy damage output. Kinda disapointed by Trish's moveset and voice. Really liking Chun's new voice and kick "animation flair"

all that aside...dooms legs kinda skinny and i love how all his moves have these weird effects.they also changed the amount of chip dmg his molecular shield does,his photon array is now yellow instead of pink :(

So here's something I've noticed-unless it changes before release...it sounds like themes don't switch /w characters tagging anymore...but with whomever is dominating the match (Chun-Li's plays until it switches to Dr. Doom's theme when he finally K.O.s someone)

Anything's better than stage music though, can't wait to hear more themes!

The person labeled dante in this pic seems to be gene. there's no sword, the hairstyle is different (it goes back like gene's), and there seems to be a scarf (and the outline of the arm on he left side seems to be a cut-off sleeve similar to gene). does anyone else see this?

It's more likely Wesker than Gene.

I hate to sound like this, but the Gene fanboys need to give it up.

dont get me wrong, im not a gene fanboy and i could care less if he made it to mvc3 or if godhand sold well. i was just trying to figure out who that was because it doesn't seem like dante to me.

yeah i was looking at all the outfits dante had (dmc 1-4), even vergil and nero, but it didnt seem to match up. when i looked at some gene photos it seemed close.

99% sure it's Dante in those images. It's not Gene because his standard costume has tassels on the bottom of his coat, and the silhouette doesn't. Also, probably isn't Wesker, as host of his images (especially in RE5) don't have him in a long coat, and even when he is, he doesn't have a popped collar, like the character in the silhouette.

Dante has both a long coat and wears a popped collar in the official character art.

Well with the inclusion of Super Skrull, I think it's fairly safe to say he will be the bad guy in the Avengers movie.

so far this game looks graphically better than mvc2. It has comic book look to it that obviously couldnt be done on the past system. Its pretty much an updated verision of tvc which i dont mind! Superskrull looks awesome too and dr doom looks to be the sh*t i honestly dont wanna go back to playing mvc2 after watching these trailors now capcom if your listening at least give a demo thru psn/box live i could careless if it comes out for either or if its just 6 characters make it happen!

How did Frank West suck in TvC? Highly damaging combos with the shopping carts, probably the only character in UAS to have an infinite, and the zombies are great for pressure, not to mention a command throw. How does he suck, exactly?

Question to all marvel fans we know that vewtiful joe is now in the game from the beginning of the new trailer who is that on the marvel side between DR.Doom and super skrull is that spider man or is it someone else.

At around 1:40 in the first video you can see Akuma's silhouette in the center just a bit to the right. And the silhouette between Dr. Doom and Skrull behind Marvel logo in the Comi-con trailer looks like Spiderman.

defintely spiderman in the comic con video, i'm not sure how i feel about having viewtful joe in this game though he might feel a little out of place next to the rest of the cast, and dormammu better be playable. I Sure hope akuma's not in it we already have 1 shoto. Oh and TRISH!!!!

for starters....Vega would suck in this game. WHy be on walls when so far every player in the game has either a beam or projectile. That wouldnt work 4 him. 2nd of all....MVC2 is a BROKEN game. Not balanced at all. Just learn how to cheat with Magneto, Doom and Storm an you'll be good...or just use Cable. 3rd of all, if you know nothing about the game dont just play it cuz of Dante, that just shows your a noob/fanboy. 4th of all, i think its a smart from Capcom not to add Akuma and Ken. There trying to avoid shoto characters and characters that play the same. Besides....THATS BORING! You mean to tell me you'd rather have characters that have similar fighting moves rather then some brand new, fresh characters? [sigh] Nd last but not least im kinda happy Capcom added Trish and not Vergil cuz i fear that Vergil would be way to similar to Dante...in other words a [shoto]. I don't know, the hair doesn't look like flames but more like Akuma's hair tail and look at his feet, they don't look like Dormammu's either. I think it makes sense for Capcom to put Akuma in the game since they can reuse a lot of Ryu's aimations, personaly I'd prefer other characters instead of Akuma but who knows, we'll see.

I agree that mvc2 was broken and it's annoying that's why I never took that games serious and it got pretty annoying seeing cable,storm mag/cable,mag,sentinel etc. Glad it looks like they fixing this game up and I'm sure they'll be the occasional group of people crying how mvc2 is better blah blah the same way there's the group of people who hate on tvc and that's a decent,fun that's way more balanced than mvc2.

Boy Marvel Fudged up for Capcom. O well now the picture is clearer for the roster that is MVC 3. Including Dr. Doom, Chun-Li, Super Skrull, and Trish; we can also add Thor and Ammy to the mix. Pretty good additions and I will like to mention charcters that will not make the cut (Niitsuma said it during the Stream) Emma Frost, Gene, Punisher, Phoenix Wright, and Ghost Rider.
