A few new gameplay elements were discovered in the EVO 2010 build of Marvel vs. Capcom 3. That dude isn't even part of marvel or capcom ^ lol
Anyway I wonder what hulks level 3 looks like? Is it the gamma crush?
I'm hyped from this game the haters can go keep playing part 2 cause this one looks insane and it looks like it plays like tvc but with a couple of new things added that's also pretty cool since tvc was cool as well
Travis is apart of Grasshopper Manufacturer's IPs they're published by Ubisoft in AMERICA but Marvelous entertainment is in charge of Japanese publishing.
The only characters I can see possibly squeezing in there that no one would expect are Link and Kratos since Capcom Developed Zelda games, and Published God of War in Japan
This ought to shut up all of the people complaining about not being able to assist while blocking, even though it wasn't that big of a deal in the first place.
Next they're going to complain about how assist take longer, which is a good thing in my opinion because it prevents the screen from constantly being filled with 3-6 people.
Haters gonna hate.
@Clovr4Lyf
You dont gotta bash the guy, Maybe he's wondering if its gonna look like the TvC Ryu's Shin Shoryuken, or possibly more like the metsu in SSF4
@Clovr4Lyf
Tell me, how did you think Roll or Hakushon Daimaou would play in TvC? How did you think R.O.B. would play in Brawl? It's possible to have characters completely unsuited for a fighting game and create a fighting style for them that complements their personality and game.
I bet nothing dumbass remember? you're the one who though I did when I bet nothing and I'm sorry if I'm not entitled to my own opinion even if it is wrong.
They might change the angle of the camera on hit,for all we know they might make it more of the Shinryuken type move where he combos into it more. You never know, but that's the thing, you don't keep an open mind about even small changes to it.
And yes those would probably be his hypers, you got to remember one of the MVC2 playable characters moves was PEELING AN ONION! that same character had a hyper where you call his friends and they just fly at you not really attacking, two others had KICKING A BALL!, and let's not forgot my favorite GRABBING YOURE ENEMY AND RUNNING A FULL LAP AROUND THE EDGE OF THE SCREEN BEFORE SMASHING THEM INTO A WALL THAT'S NOT THERE.
Seriously if that's not too far fetched compared to guy attacking with catch phases and items from his game you need to be mentally checked
Well, this build is all right, but personally I hope it changes because at E3 and at Evo all battles seemed to Timeout really. Also, Seth said, "Once people learn more damaging combos, this will change". On MvC 2, even when I see two people who can't really fight go against each other, they are able to kill each other will plenty of time to spare, I hope that gets taken care of.
Also, I am worried, TvC has less "feel" of control than MvC2 because of a lack of the fact that you don't have dedicated buttons for moves, and also a simplified control scheme, I am just hoping that it keeps the MvC2 feel, cause I loved it.
Also, I want to see Dante's level 3 Super.
I am hoping that Hsien-Ko makes this game.
@Clover4Lyf
I don't have a vendetta against you in particular. I have a vendetta against dumbasses, which you, unfortunately, happen to be.
I'm not required to create a fighting style for Wright, that's for the experts at Capcom to decide. All I have to do is prove that someone like him, who would normally not be considered for a fighting game, can actually fit well in that scenario. This, I have done, but to humor you, I'll give you a couple of moves for Wright.
Objection!: A move actually considered by Capcom for TvC, in which he uses the words as a physical attack.
Level 1 Super: A Larger Objection!
Hold It!: A move that stuns the opponent.
Level 3 Super: Guilty Verdict: The Judge delivers justice and depletes the Ace Attorney Health bar that appears at the top right of the screen, which also takes away health from the regular health bar.
As for normals, he could do just regular punches and kicks, Frank West style. And seeing his durability throughout the series, Wright might have above average health.
Did you comprehend any of that?
Want to see some more characters and hopefully get some confirmation on Mega Man X, Strider, and just maybe get some Final Fight represented. Poison is way overdue and I rather see Haggar as the Capcom grappler than Gief again.
Froggy, Ein, ClovR
Here's a joint, now please stop arguing. Set the example & don't be one of those internet SF leet pro dbags. Have fun and speculate!
Personally insulting other members of the comment boards can get you banned. I deleted a few of the comments here as a warning, if the guilty parties keep it up, their accounts will be toast.
You can get your point across without resorting to bashing the other people here.
Phoenix Wright doesn't into fit into the concept of "Marvel comic books come to life". Marvel just told Capcom to remove universal Air Dash cause not everyone has the superpower. I doubt attacking with words is going to get approved.
IMHO, just because you think you are right doesn't mean you should be rude by using caps and being obnoxious about it. Also, do everyone a favor and stay on topic.
I know the internet is like the Wild West but the people who use it are not.
@Clovr4Lyf
So your entire argument is hinged on the fact that Phoenix Wright is a lawyer and therefore won't be able to fit in a fighting game? That's...a pathetically flat argument. Frank West is just an ordinary photographer, and he was able to fight off zombies and be a competent contender in a fighting game. Roll is a housekeeping robot, not meant for battle. And isn't Anmingo just some green cactus thing? None of those seem fit for a fighting game, yet here we are. You have yet to offer any valid point as to why Phoenix can't be a contender. And notice I never said that any of your other Capcom people couldn't be in this game as well. You act is if I think Phoenix is the only one suitable.
@Smorgasboard
Sure, Marvel comics coming to life is a key feature of the game, but that's not the only feature. If that were the case, it would just be Marvel Super Heroes 2 instead of Marvel vs Capcom 3. And I don't think Capcom's going to get rid of the air dash. Not everyone has the power to double jump, and Capcom's not getting rid of that, are they?
And who, exactly, is the one using caps and being obnoxious? Go look at my posts; the only caps I've used are for abbreviations. Clover4Lyf on the other hand...
@Clovr4Lyf #35
Pheonix Wright probably would "have been" on MvC3 if his development in TvC was more successful but problem was that they had a hard time coming up with special moves for him so he was dropped.
I think your argument that PW can't be in MvC3 because he's "A Lawyer" is a weak argument. I think you uderestimate the imagination of game developers. Just because you can't phantom the idea does'nt mean it's not possible.
Your trying to create logic where logic does'nt exist, that being a video game (A video game based on a comic for that matter). Whats impossible does'tn exist in this game. Thats why it's a game, the game is simply being made for fun.
Just give it a rest. I doubt PW will be in MvC3 anyways unless they can create some moves for him but at the same time you can't count it out, he probably recieved some more development time and is probably in the game now weather you like it or not.
@Clovr I did answer you question
"They might change the angle of the camera on hit,for all we know they might make it more of the Shinryuken type move where he combos into it more. You never know, but that's the thing, you don't keep an open mind about even small changes to it."
and
"And yes those would probably be his hypers, you got to remember one of the MVC2 playable characters moves was PEELING AN ONION! that same character had a hyper where you call his friends and they just fly at you not really attacking, two others had KICKING A BALL!, and let's not forgot my favorite GRABBING YOURE ENEMY AND RUNNING A FULL LAP AROUND THE EDGE OF THE SCREEN BEFORE SMASHING THEM INTO A WALL THAT'S NOT THERE.
Seriously if that's not too far fetched compared to guy attacking with catch phases and items from his game you need to be mentally checked"
.....He wasn't begging....just asking you noticed how he said "Where is shinshoryuken" not "OMFG THEY DIDN"T SHOW SHINSHORYUKEN I'LL SUCK EVERYONE ON THE CREATIVE TEAMS D*** just to see it!!11!11ONE1!one!"
calm down man it ain't that serious if they do something different....
And you don't see it doesn't mean it wont happen. you're forgetting you already have characters like Felica who summons her sisters to mug the enemy. And Deadpool whos shoots the enemy while yelling "BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG!" and says "You pressed the wrong button!" when he dies....it's light hearted enough
@xShonuffx
THANK YOU, for actually having some common sense. My hat's off to you.
@Clovr4Lyf
Perhaps you didn't read correctly. Roll is a HOUSEKEEPING ROBOT. She's not meant to fight, she's meant to CLEAN. Yet they still had her in TvC. And Frank's just an ordinary human who was forced to improvise in order to fight zombies, unlike Chris who's already loaded with real weapons. And yet Frank is still going toe to toe with superheroes and giant robots. If they can make a fighting style for those two, why not Phoenix? They have more development time this time around.
As xShonuffx said, don't underestimate the creative abilities of Capcom.
You mean the Roll Casket? which isn't normal Roll, nomral roll is still a little girl(who appeared as such in megman 10). Plus Roll Caskett's design is pretty old when you factor in Roll.EXE's design and the fact there's no Role in X or ZX or Starforce
Here's a picture of EXE

@Clov4Lyf Putting a LAWYER in a game like this as PLAYABLE is like having Arthur in this...a JOKE! Sure Arthur is action but he only has ONE MOVE-Throw!!! Arthur doesnt even block!
^i was with you until u said that, arthur is not the same as adding phoenix and although i don't want arthur he can still have a moveset because he had different types of attacks and other things which can translate into movesets.
Hmm Maximo, Arthur. I hadn't given much thought to them. Capcom seems content to leave the greats who brought them the success and love they have today in the dust.
On the other maybe it's because i'm more worried about the safety of Strider, Jin, and Captain Commando...[f#cking C.Viper stealing all of his moves and putting a Latina Twist on everything. Don't tell me she's not! No one but cap should have so many Elements. It's just not allowed. ]
THEY NEED REVIVAL!! AND MORE THAN JUST QCF!!
I really hope Travis Touchdown gets added, i think he would fit in perfectly.
