I don't think you could consider a update to SSF4 'bigger than' SF4 nor do I think they'll come with another crossover (maybe after MvC3).
And even tho Ono mentioned that DLC-characters are possible,I doubt we'll ever see them.

is any one else wondering why the booth (or whatever) is called SSF4 and not just SF or Capcom? that might rule out other guesses to what the new "project" might be.

i would love if they would keep one game in 2D. just with a ton of characters.. no balance, just fun. its sad that mvsc will lose many characters because of 3D now. (still its gonna be awesome!)

I agree. I don't want more VS titles. I already have MvC3 coming in spring. Another VS title releasing next year doesnt sound like Capcom to me. :/ I don't want more remakes either. Capcom is good at it, but i think we have had enough of those. Sequels (of Street Fighter) would be ridiculous. I do acknowledge that Ono said something about SSF4 still getting support, possibly hinting at another top notch fighting game, but i really doubt it will be SF5. Capcom wants to shake of the stigma that they have to keep releasing new editions every month, similar to the Guitar Hero and Call of Duty franchises.

how are they gona make tekken vs sf there totally too different fighting games tekken is clumsy has stupid ground juggles and bad play control n graffix. sf has projectiles great graffix great controls. lol this game is gonna blow they are too different fighting games. so what capcom is trying to help namco build a better fighter lol DOA is way better then tekken even soul calibar is better. tekken just sux but does have cool characters thow thats about it
i bought tekken 6 played it for ten minutes then i sold it on ebay cant believe they still making fighting games. i think tekken n MK are the two fighting franchises that amazes me that they still sell games with crappy old gen grafxs

Hyper SSF4 or SSF4 Turbo is not likely at all, Ono already stated he won't make another version of SSF4. And Ono pretty much gave a direct 'No' for Capcom vs SNK 3 and Capcom vs MK. Plus, with the Tekken guys at EVO this year and the rumors already afloat, its most likely a Street Fighter vs Tekken game. After all that would be the only thing that can fit the category of 'bigger and better' than Street Fighter 4.
If its none of the titles that the guy mentioned then its really not worth all this hype. He just said NO NO NO NO NO NO NO and I'll think about it? what kind of stupid garbage is this? I am really surprised by the diversity of peoples' responses. Based on the evidence available, the announcement will obviously be a Tekken/Street Fighter crossover title that has most likely been in development for a number of years. Given the graphics we've seen in Tekken 6 and Super Street Fighter IV, I am very excited to see what Dimps and Namco Bandai will develop.

Speed option would be a no since the game is already decently paced and then also there's the fact you'd fall into the trap of people who like to play 1 round 30 second matches on turbo(which would suck)
I believe the sound team would have to spend more time customizing sound to sound good in arcades and on the 3DS and whatever other project Ono might have them working on
Not that many people would even look at video gallery if they had the option especially since with youtube you can look up all 35 openings and endings in HD quality

Super Street Fighter Alpha 4 Turbo: Fourth Attack - Warriors of Justice. It's gonna have every character from SF1, ST, A3, 3S, S4, and just as many new characters. There will be air-blocking, parrying, universal-focus-overhead-attacks, ism-selection, ex-attacks, and choose-able ultras.

I would buy SF vs Mortal Kombat, if they made 2 games. One which basically SF4, with Tekken characters in it. The other an MK style game with SF4 characters in it.

Reading through the posts I noticed that everybody who wants or think that Street Fighter vs Tekken is in the works has know idea how the game will work haha.

I reckon the will a Tekken vs Street Fighter.... maybe on the Wii as a casual party game like Smash Brothers or Mario Kart but with Tekken /Street fighter characters. Either way Tekken vs Street Fighter won't be a serious/hardcore game because Capcom/Namco will lose half their audience.
