Awesome, should be fun to watch, though Daigo struggles a bit with Dhalsim.

On a side note, Tokido has been pretty disappointing after his Godsgarden win.

Matchups I want instead:
Daigo (Ryu) vs Sako (Cammy, Akuma)
Makoto (Vega) vs Mago (Fei, Sagat)
Tokido (Akuma) vs Momochi (Ibuki)
YHC Mochi (Dhalsim) vs Uryo (C. Viper)

Yeah, I kind of already know what to expect from a Daigo vs. Dhalsim match. I would have liked instead if it were Sako or Makoto going up against Mochi. But the Sako vs. Makoto match will be hype sh*t for sure!!!

mAKOTO WILl definitely be challenged by sako. But I say daigo over mochi and makoto over sako ...then makoto over daigo, then the VEGA bandwagoners will come

I wonder how this will turn out, Daigo seems to have a bit of a trouble against good dhalsims.

@12 i dunno how long ago his loss to sabin's sim, but with SSF4 sim's been buffed and ryu's been nerfed, so we'll see how he does

just saw the salty suite matches vs Sabin... damn Daigo is the king of comebacks for sure

Daigo was one hit away from losing to Sabin so we'll see how he does against Mochi, who I think is better than Sabin. Going to be interesting since Daigo is known for doing well in long sets.

Bah I wanted to see Sakonoko vs Daigo!

Really good Dhalsim. From what i've seen, it's on the same level as Sabin's, maybe even slighly better, because he is doing less errors in important moments.
It's pretty bad matchup for Ryu, so even if it's Daigo, i think final result would be something like 10-7 for YHCmochi.

The real match is Sako vs Makoto a true match of skill!!

Daigo vs YHC will be all about zoning/spacing and that is boring. Daigo's match against Sabin was boring to watch.

Mochi is taking this. Dhalsim is Ryu's worst match up and Mochi is the best Dhalsim in the world right now. Plus Daigo said awhile back that Mochi is the only one in Japan that beats him regularly.

Daigo hasn't played Makoto or Sako regularly. The few matches they [Sako and Makoto] had against Daigo they won very soundly.

If zoning and spacing is boring to you, then don't play SSF4 and be into Blazblue instead.

There's more ways to play SSF4 than Zoning and spacing [aka turtle].

the thing with japanese players is they are very anti-shenanigans. nothing will really make you say "Wtf just happened"? so maybe some dhalsim shenanigans might not be on display on the mochi vs daigo fight

Mochi has this round. He beats Daigo more often than the other way around, and he can play some really clutch games as well, as we've seen from the previous round against Mago.

Notice how they are all using different charachters. This is good. In vanilla SF4 it would of been 7 Sagats and a Ryu.

Any insight on the Sako vs Makoto match? Seems kind of like an odd matchup...

Sako vs Makoto is gonna be a physical battle; Combos with mixups.

Cloverlife makes it sound like everyone can just pick up ryu(or any character that has no bad matchups...aka ryu) and be the best player in the whole universe...lol

clover enjoys the attention, I recommend you stop giving it to him. OR

....you can keep it up, it is somewhat amusing.

If Daigo picked Hakan he'd start complaining about the turkish, too. Just leave him alone.

His whining is even funnier, now that the matchup is probably in Sim's favor.
