lol, that cammy player got 8 wins before the akuma random out a win. and on the first round at the end. He should sit next to akuma in the corner and he hope the akuma player does srk and fadc to waste his two meters.
"Onslaught, teaching the world; one uppercut at a time"
Lol :P
I have to say I'm amazed more of the pro matches don't have as much dragon punches in them. It's like; ok; I know that other player is ALWAYS going to jump in and do a series of punches and kicks. Let's NOT use a dragon punch on reaction to stop it :P
@9 well what if you keep doing it and they start blocking the DP, then yer open for a free combo all the time.
@VegaBisonAbel
Well yeah, oh course. But you can't block in the air except after wiffing a light dragon punch. DP make great anti-air moves. They should also be used to attack normally - when the other guys starts to block, throw them. Mixing it up and mind games is good; doing the same attack pattern every time is not.
It's amazing the Cammy player lost lol,I mean,he had like 11k BP so he should be used to the playstyle of atleast 80% of the online community.
The Akuma was just awful but could punish the Cammy-player on alot of occasions with just a DP.
The Cammy player should learn to use his Ultra more,he could've chipped the Akuma-player to death..
Nice video nonetheless but I'm hoping the next video will contain players that know how to play properly.
Even tho the Cammy player wasn't that bad.
Both players were scrubs. Akuma can't pull any combo other than crouching jab, medium kick, fireball. Believe me, Akuma has WAY more combos than that. Then his random dps were just....how can I say it....RANDOM! I'll be honest. I do random dps when I play but I have bars to fadc out of it just in case they block. This scrub Akuma either don't know how to fadc or he was pressing his luck. Mike Ross kept saying his dps were psychic. Yea right Mike, stop being nice and just say his Akuma play was scrubbish. The jumping jab was just speechless. I don't think I've ever done a jumping jab with any shotos in any SF game. Again this scrub pulled it off. Finally, the last dp that killed Cammy. Again Mike, that was not psychic. I think scrub akuma tried to throw a fireball and accidently did a dp instead. Fortunately for him, it worked out well.
I have alot of trouble calling those DPs random.
He did actually land them... If anything, I think its better to assume he figured out this cammy in particular had some trouble dealing with the DP.
It semi makes sense, this cammy was all about the light jab hit confirm, and we all know DP eats that for free. Even when he whiffed he didn't the cammy didn't make it clear "I WILL HURT YOU FOR THAT".
I will always test a player, if I dont think i'll eat heavy damage for risky stuff, im doing it all day.
#23: I sort of agree with you. Plus, add to the fact that this Akuma player possibly lost to the Cammy player 8 times prior to this match (or maybe the Cammy player just hosted games with other people?). It might take some risky stuff to overcome a superior player.
@#18/SomeDude:
Doing random Ultras for chip damage is a huge mistake. Sometimes it works, but a lot of other times it can cost you a match that should have been in the bag, especially with Cammy since her Ultra is so easy to avoid. If you tried that crap on my Akuma, I would do a short teleport and Ultra you instead. And I'm not even very good with Akuma.
it's the most shiitestboringannoying cammyvsakuma i'v ever seen ... fully and completly random win ... by where to begin to "analyse" those garbage player
for the love of Demon erase this video ... thx
MESSATSU !!!
i love how they break down the higher level move and combos by pausing the video and cutting to the training stage and show you exactly what they mean. i think it will help people better understand many of the moves and technics in the game and help new players out alot with there game. well done guys.
Mike or Ryan mentioned something like "oh yeah Akuma, jab jab forward fireball, not the most damaging combo. We'll tell you what to do later."
That would be an interesting addition to these shows. I like how they explained FADC (even though the majority of us reading this know what that is, but then again the show is catered to newer players/online players/people just trying to beat their friends) and went to training mode to show that jab jab forward spiral arrow combo.
They should have recorded a few good Akuma combos/hit confirms and put them at the end of the show. That would have been neat.
Cloverlyf, stop spamming that Hakan vid.
I ran into a ultra happy Akuma when I was playing fuerte just for lulz, trust me it's annoying to be caught during a Body splash(i'm still up in the air when the grab happens by obivious random ultra that I jabbed him out and KOed him last round when he tried it
Guys...of cause this is scrubvids, what else to analyze and give tips to?
We all know which vids to watch when we want good players.
Cross Counter is one of the best series I've seen for beginner/intermediates, regarding matchplay. They're like a quick rundown on what not to do and do instead, totally fine.
My friend said he played with Gootecks the other day.
haha he seems like a nice guy.
I think these vids are neat and a good idea. Fun to watch, thanks guys! I'd like to see a Blanka vid, maybe I will try and record a tough match of mine.
