A few potentially interesting things have popped up in the community recently. Here's a run down.
• Yoshinori Ono is revising some of the tutorials for Super Street Fighter IV, this seems like it's the DVD that was included in special editions of the Japanese release. It has some new hidden stuff, and probably coincides in some way with the arcade version of SSF4, which is making steady progress.
• Level 3 Hyper moves in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will make their debut at EVO this year, according to Capcom's Wes Phillips.
• Capcom Europe is teasing a 'big announcement' that's going to happen in two days. This Thursday, we'll know what it is, but Capcom has a lot of irons in the fire, so it may or may not be Street Fighter related.
• One lucky viewer is going to receive a special Mad Catz golden TE stick, just for watching the live stream of EVO 2010 this year. Details on how this will work will follow soon.
• Nike, the shoe company, has teamed up with Capcom to release a new line of Street Fighter themed trainers.
"Hey kids, want to win a TE Stick? It's easy! Just follow us on that piece of crap called Twitter..."
those shoes are stupid. you can already order shoes online with 'custom' colors. WHY on earth would you buy those?
Big announcement? Could it have anything to do with the hint Ono dropped a few days ago? Hmm. I for one resolve not to flip out needlessly. It might be great, it might be crap, nobody knows until it happens. What will be will be...
I hope there not just blowing hot air with this annoucement. I hope its something decent.
SF shoes... they look alright, but by Nike? F**k nike.. I'm never buying their s**t anymore until they get their act together.
Not holding my breath just yet. I have a feeling they are over exaggerating with this "big news" announcement so i will wait patiently to see what it's all about. At best i am expecting an announcement concerning new fighters and stages for the arcade release which will make it as DLC in the home consoles
Big announcement will be DLC characters for SSF4 in August-October , watch :]
one thing should shut everyone up who is complaining about the shoes: capcom + nike = you can buy Guy's shoes, can't f*ckin wait
maybe they will up date guy and have him wearing real nikes lol
@BlackHart
D.Dark isn't owned by capcom so thats a no go and theres only one africa stage. the jungle ones are brazil
@BlackHeart
Skullomania would be better in SSF4.
@Ex_Ein
Lol , but yea , no Poison. I aint down wit gays/lesbians , whatever da heck "it" is.
Love 4 Hugo too be added though , Hugo my guy.
oh yeahhhh i forgot about small air field...how do i delete a comment? lol
but I am right about one thing, all the Ex charater recommendations are impossible due to capcom not owning those toons. I believe Akira owns them.
capcom vs snk 4 with street fighter 4 engine would be a more probable improbability

Arika is a studio founded by ex-Capcom employees, and some of them loved Street Fighter very much. As such, there was a collaboration that allowed them to make the relatively successful Street Fighter EX series. Since there is by no means any bad blood or anything between the companies, I don't think it would be impossible for Capcom to be able to feature characters from the EX series.
I don't believe it's very likely to happen, though, because the employees who are deeply connected to those original characters work at Arika instead, and because few of those characters have the popularity to match characters from Street Fighter Zero/Alpha who have not yet been featured in an SFIV incarnation.
