@ #11 why would Street Fighter 3 be "something bigger than SSF IV"? It makes little sense. My guess is that he is talking about the rumored additions to the arcade version of SSF IV - new characters, maybe stages too?

My guess is DLC, but I don't know.
What I DO know, is that Darkstalkers, Rival Schools, and etc. are NOT bigger than SSFIV.

It's probably going to be that "Plus α" they mentioned wouldn't be at E3, that's both suffixes they added to Street Fighter EX when they updated it (Street Fighter EX Plus, Street Fighter EX Plus α). Super Street Fighter IV Plus α? Please, if so, make the content DLC. I was on board for Super but I really don't feel like buying yet another version, even with a reduced price.

PS: Obviously nobody should regard any of this as fact, I'm just a guy on the Internet saying stuff.

It must be related to Street Fighter, else it makes no sense, because he would be officially discrediting the Street Fighter community.

The ONLY thing that could be bigger would be Capcom vs SNK 3.....But with licensing and all that legal stuff, it would probably take a while to make. He might mean downloadable characters for $40 a piece.

Yeah they arent bigger alone...but added together Darkstalkers, Rival Schools, plus other Capcom fighters mixed with SNK fighters would be the only thing bigger.

It better not be another stupid edition. As much as I love SSF4, I think it's ridiculous that they would release a new edition every year. Bring it in a patch and not make us buy another game.

lol how can stages and an arcade version of SSF4 be bigger than SSF4? lol. my guess is darkstalkers for sure. Ono has nothing to do with MvC3 so it probably wont be that. TvC2 is way too early. it might be street fighter vs Tekken. i read they'll do something like that here on eventshub so...

btw there are no more SF4 games. Ono himself said he isn't going to do anything past SSF4. if it is a SF game, then it's either SF5 (which again is WAAAAAAY too early) or 3rd strike HD (but an HD version of 3rd strike doesn't sound bigger than SSF4 [to me it does]. whatever it is, i can't wait

oh, and i don't think it could possibly be sf5. they'd need a ton of new characters, so as it doesn't get repetitive right after ssf4.

I can't think of anything really that Capcom can do that's "bigger" than Street Fighter. Not a new Mega Man, a new DMC, a new Resident Evil, nothing.

because that would be SSF IV plus more new content which would effectively make it "bigger than SSF IV"...maybe.
Otherwise 1) he is talking about a SF V or 2) he is talking s*** as he more than often does. Maybe its his lack of knowledge around the English language

@ #34 cause he is the man behind SF IV yet he or his team have nothing to do with the RE series as far as i know. Plus why would he drop hints of a non-fighting game at the EVO season?

Well if you look at the way the new MK with EX moves and all that i wouldn't be surprised if we end up with an Mortal Kombat Vs Street Fighter game i dunno.

So yes he has many thing he can pull out of his ares including DMC5, RE:Outbreak file 3, A new Jo-Jo game, a new Megaman Legends game, hell he might even be talking a new IP

It wouldn't make a ton of sense to have two Vs. games going at the same time for they would compete against each other. I doubt it will be a Vs. game.

well they it was stated awhile back that capcom was focusing only on MVC 3 as a new fighting game, but that doesnt cover DLC or reboots of OLDER games. And stating that its bigger than SSF4 probably means its fighting game related, so from what it sounds like the only possibilities in my mind is a re-release of 3rd strike on XBLA and PSN, Downloadable characters for SSF4, or announcement of a date for a XBL and PSN MVC 3 demo.

I really hope this is Super Street Fighter IV Hyper Fighting.

But I also really hope it's DLC.

My money is on DLC, MK and BBCS are doing it >_> so why not. There is probably money to be had with a dlc char (if the price is right) especially if it is someone that the community seems to want.

SF3 HDR was pretty much shot down directly by SKill.

SF3 for XBL/PSN sounds likely, but probably wouldn't be enough to say "SSFIV is nothing."

While they did say that there weren't more new fighting games coming, that may have been exaggerated... who knows? There was the rumor of the SF vs. Tekken game a few weeks ago.
