In a mysterious Tweet, Capcom producer, Yoshinori Ono, stated that something bigger is coming than Super Street Fighter 4. His exact words were:
Super SF4 on sale!! SuperSF4 is nothing compared to what's coming!!
It's possible some of the meaning is being lost in translation here, as Yoshinori's English isn't terrific, but at face value, this sounds very exciting.
Ono is scheduled to make an appearance at EVO next week in Las Vegas, July 9-11, and it's possible he could announce something new at that time.
A Darkstalkers proposal was hinted at the other day, but it's highly unlikely this is what Ono is referring to, as it was just recently suggested, so it's extremely unlikely they would be announcing it this soon.

Seth did hint there were big things coming to EVO, but maybe he just meant the MvC3 build at the time... Interesting, but I almost guarantee it'll be Darkstalkers or something by the time we do hear about it (whenever that is).
Hell, Ono may even mean MvC3 with it.

It's probably going to be that "Plus α" they mentioned wouldn't be at E3, that's both suffixes they added to Street Fighter EX when they updated it (Street Fighter EX Plus, Street Fighter EX Plus α). Super Street Fighter IV Plus α? Please, if so, make the content DLC. I was on board for Super but I really don't feel like buying yet another version, even with a reduced price.
PS: Obviously nobody should regard any of this as fact, I'm just a guy on the Internet saying stuff.

well they it was stated awhile back that capcom was focusing only on MVC 3 as a new fighting game, but that doesnt cover DLC or reboots of OLDER games. And stating that its bigger than SSF4 probably means its fighting game related, so from what it sounds like the only possibilities in my mind is a re-release of 3rd strike on XBLA and PSN, Downloadable characters for SSF4, or announcement of a date for a XBL and PSN MVC 3 demo.

SF3 HDR was pretty much shot down directly by SKill.
SF3 for XBL/PSN sounds likely, but probably wouldn't be enough to say "SSFIV is nothing."
While they did say that there weren't more new fighting games coming, that may have been exaggerated... who knows? There was the rumor of the SF vs. Tekken game a few weeks ago.

Well, I did some messing around with Photoshop, and from what I could see under the paper in the picture that Ono posted, there's a female character on the left, some writing on the right. Almost looks like a magazine spread.
I couldn't make out features too well, but the character looks like it -could- be Morrigan... though the costume or accessories looke different, at least to me. If only the pic was a bit bigger than 800x600, haha.

There were those rumors about Tekken Vs. SF, but the possibility of that just doesn't seem real. Those game engines just don't feel like the would mesh together to make a balanced game. If it is true, I hope they prove me wrong.
I hope they finally reveal if the arcade version of SSF4 will have new characters. If so, I just want to know when they will be coming to consoles. Then there's Dsrkstalkers.
When Darkstalkers first dropped in the '90's, it marked Capcom's graphical transition to more fluid, anime-styled animation in their fighters. It carried over (and in many ways, improved) in later games like Alpha, Versus and SFIII. If a Darkstalkers reboot is in the pipeline, I only hope that it graphically will be revolutionary and features many ideas that Ono & his team didn't get to implement in SSF4. Yet, I'd like it to still feel unmistakably like Darkstalkers (or better yet Night Warriors).
Less than a week to Evo! Can't wait to hear what Ono has brewing ^_^

I'll be honest with you, I cant even think what this could possibly be.
An update or new version of SF4 wouldnt be something I would call way bigger than SF4 or SSF4.
A rebirth of an old series (eg darkstalkers) while AWESOME again isnt really something I would consider to be way bigger than street fighter.
And again, a remake of an old game (SF3remix etc etc), would be fantastic, but I dont see that being something that would blow SF4 out of the water.
I guess I'll just have to sit here and wait to be blown away :0

what about a capcom fighting jam 2 or street fighter jam? if done right, i'd pass it as something better than ssf4.
off course capcom fighting jam 2 would have to include a lot more characters from different franchises than the original capcom fighting jam as well as NOT copy/pasting sprites and voice audio.
cvs3 could also be possible cause don't forget that the cvs games and mvc2 were also made around the same time.
i'm a bit skeptical about a tekken vs street fighter game, but somehow it can be possible. if the game is going to be in a 2d fighting game style then they would just have to alter the tekken characters' playstyle. it wouldn't entirely ruin their playstyle, cause in the tekken games, the only thing that requires the game to be a 3d fighting game is the sidestep/dodge.
but if the game is going to be in a 3d fighting game style then i don't think it's going to be a good move, cause giving the ability to dodge a hadouken for example will destroy many of the street fighter characters' playstyle.
i don't really think you can call a new darkstalkers game something that would make ssf4 look like nothing. the same goes for rival schools and sf3(although i personally think rival schools and sf3 are much better than ssf4).
all i'm hoping is dlc characters or another ssf4 update for that matter. my personal character "wishlist" in order of want is alex, hugo, elena, charlie, birdie, yun, urien, yang, rolento and eagle, but i only think alex, hugo and elena are necessary cause i find that sf3 is horribly underpresented in ssf4.
sf3 on psn would also be a day one purchase for me.
although, in all honesty, i think it's a bit silly to say that ssf4 is nothing compared to both the dlc characters and sf3 for psn. the dlc characters because it's actually a part of ssf4 and sf3 because it didn't exactly do that well in terms of sales compared to ssf4.

Since we already know MvC 3 is coming... it's gotta be Power Stone, or a new CvS. Dark Stalkers may be good, but overshadowing SF? Nah.

Who knows it could be SSF4 based movie that's bigger than SSF4. It would suck if they did another version of the same game again. If it's referring to street fighter like someone has commented earlier,it would be another Street Fighter- I would guess Street Fighter 5, which I would guess be in the current time frame. But why would they announce that so early? Unless it was a completely different street fighter game which maybe similar to Powerstone, or a shooter, but with street fighter 4 characters? Or Super Street Figher 4 TAG with an addition of more characters? Or SSF4 in complete 3D able to side step? Or would it be a downloadable pack to get extra characters all suits and a few more levels? Or just another Game like the next DarkStalkers. Who knows?

It is the arcade release for SSF4 with Turbo DLC? im not sure bout the turbo part. Street Fighter vs XXXXX is so freaking annoying. Sounds like the most stupidest suggestions ever, im sorry. No other games would work against Street Fighter except SNK. So stupid and annoying.
