Weekend community events July 3 - 7 There are several tournaments going on this weekend, and quite a few of them have live streams for you to check out.

If you have an event you'd like to submit, please use the Contact Us form and send over the details.

• Online Xbox 360: GodsGarden SSF4 Tourney, Makoto vs. Uryo, July 3. This starts up at 6 a.m. PST, it will be streamed live in multiple places and additional coverage will be provided here on EventHubs.com.

• Japan: Nagoya Street Battle 15, July 3. This tournament features some of the best players in Japan including Daigo, Tokido, Mago, Kindevu, Eita and more. A live stream will be provided of this 3 vs. 3 SSFIV teams competition, 8 p.m. PST start time.

• Naugatuck, Connecticut: Friday Night Blackout, July 2. This will be streamed live, 8 p.m. EST start time.

• Nashville, Tennessee: Game Galaxy SSF4, Super Turbo SBO Warmup, July 3. This will also be streamed, noon CST start time.

• San Diego, California: SSFIV Singles Tournament, July 3. Live stream available, around 4:30 p.m. PST start time.

• Brooklyn, New York: Guard Crush 3!, July 7. A live stream will be provided by TeamSp00ky. 6:45 p.m. EST start time.

• Brooklyn, New York: On Blast in 60 Seconds, July 3. TeamSp00ky will also be streaming this event, starting at 5 p.m. EST.

• Fredericksburg, Virginia: SSF4 Fridays at Gamepad, July 2.

• Glasgow, Lanarkshire, United Kingdom: ESC-Games SSF4 Ranking Battles, July 4.

• Aiken, South Carolina: Aiken Convocation Tournament, July 3.

• Bronx, New York: Bums "Step Your Game Up" Session, July 2.

• Hesperia, California: High Desert Showdown, July 3.

• Las Vegas, Nevada: SSF4 Tournament, July 3.

• Los Angeles, California: Anime Expo, July 1 - 4.

• Houston, Texas: Test Your Skills 10, July 3.

• Dublin, Ireland: Inferno 10 SSFIV Tournament, July 3.

• Granada Hills, California: SSF4 Ranbat 1.5 at Family Fun Arcade, July 3.

Im from NY so 6:00am PST is 9:00am EST. But I hope this tourney actually goes through and there's no more delays.

Y is it that almost every tourney that is hosted, its on the xbox 360 and almost never on the playsation 3?

Xbox 360 is just more popular. Even if the PS3 is preferred for fighting games, everyone already has a 360.

•Super Street Fighter IV
•2/3 Rounds
•2/3 Matches, 3/5 Grand Finals
•Winner Character Lock (cannot switch characters)
•Double Elimination
•Rounds consist of 99 second time limit in all sets
•All stages and characters are legal
•All matches played at default health and handicap
•Prizes
•1st – 70%
•2nd – 20%
•3rd – 10%

If 50 player show up 10 bucks per person 500 bucks
